Hello all! I return from being hard at work to spam Aiyana.

do JIDs come with 14mm eyes? I've looked a bunch of places but can't seem to find the answer ... anyone have 12mms in a guy?

 

It depends on which one you get. My Asa came with 10mm and I kept that because they worked well for her. 'I' comes with 12 mm.

If you click on the individual doll at IH, at the very bottom it will tell you what size they come with.

 

Shuhei is going to marry my Narae Tisa, but she is currently married now, so......he is going to kill her husband then marry her. Don't know how he is going to do it, but I hope I am working when the murder takes place. I can see the CSI team of dolls trying to pin the murder on Tisa instead.....now to get my camera ready for the photo story for my next day off.

 

Here's a picture of my Jerome with 12 mm oval eyes. He came from Iple with 12 mm acrylics that you can see here



In other news, Chelsea's new body and other assorted goodies are now on their way from Iple. I'm both excited by all the new stuff and afraid to see how much she has mellowed in color.

Looks like I might have to go to 10mm eyes then to get a more mature look. I go down a size in my MNFs too.
If anyone's interested, I did a really rough mock up - couldn't go into more detail around the eyes 'cause I couldn't enlarge the pic any more without distorting it so I'm settling for shadow, eyebrows and facial hair.

 

I kept my Vito in 10mm ovals when I had him, same with my tania, and my I boy Phoenix (who's the only one I have left at the moment)

I sold my Vito last winter ^^;; (there are other old pictures of him on my flickr though if you look around) he wasn't really an important character for me to have and wasn't clicking as well (plus he's supposed to be younger, I may bring him back as a BID Serca) I do plan on getting my tania Shade back at some point, she's intended to re-enter Phoenix's story.

Thanks for the votes of confidence Sofay and Hippolovergurl - I think he looks a little like Mr. Cleans evil younger brother but it was really hard to photoshop such a small pic
Thought I was gonna have to wait 'till Christmas before I ordered him but I'm halfway there so I might be able to get him sooner. Wouldn't that make a great gift for Amy ?!?

anyone have a RS JID next to a NS MNF ? I don't care about the sexes, I just wanna see a clear shot of the skin difference.

Would a normal skin comparison between mnf and JID help at all? They're pretty close in color for the most part. I dont' have a realskin to help you out though, sorry.

I went ahead and took some more for you of their hands. Keep in mind both bodies are a bit older, maybe a year for the mnf and two for the JID. The first is the hands without flash (please pardon the work in progress on the JID hands). The second is their hands with flash.

No problem Ban! What surprises me most about them is the size difference. I was never as aware of how big my JID girl actually was until I got my mnf. I'm looking forward to seeing the realskin comparisons. I'm still considering a JID boy as a boyfriend for my mnf girl, since FL boys are just so...little kiddish. Cute, but little kiddish. :P

 

EXACTLY!!! - Vance needs to be noticably bigger than Amy and MNF guys are too short and lean ... at least for my tastes

You're very welcome. I love the color of the RS. It's a very nice, natural light tan and it mixes nicely with dolls of other skin tones. The sizes look very nice together as well for a petite female and a larger, stronger man.

In the interest of full disclosure, though, those two are not a couple. Eli is part of a couple with my JID Tatiana (who is WS), so I will take this opportunity to add an old (but cute) picture of those two together.

I keep mentioning how I need a boyfriend for Poe, and so far Soori and JID Jerome are winning but....there's Gary. He's our stormtrooper doll-dude who's about the size of a Ken doll (a bit bigger) and is pretty much convinced Poe is his. She's never seemed to mind and boy am I getting death glares from him right now...0_o

I ordered a Soa in RS the day she was released and she was shipped yesterday. Is anyone else getting her? I'm excited! I'm gonna be slow on pics though cause I'm gonna have to give her a faceup.

Waaaahhh, just got my newbody in the mail!! The resin match is spot on with my current one So far I'm not 100% convinced of the new body yet cause mine is all floppity . She can sort of stand but would topple over if unattended. Will post a better review this weekend when I actually restring her

I think I should still get that 3mm string even with the new joint system...

 

I was at a meet up this weekend and one of the girls there also had a Ryan (though I did not bring Ryder with me, darn!). And apparently he's just as full of himself and a flirt as Ryder is. We decided that it must be a Ryan thing XD

If you ignore Ryder, he just tries harder to get attention. He doesn't like me getting new dolls because then he gets ignored for a while. Maybe I'll make him a sexy outfit to make it up to him.

Sounds like my household which Yun and Rose fighting. Not to mention countless hours of dressing up like princesses to have tea parties with stuff animals with the little ones.

 

Lol either Ryan or Jerome is a good choice! Ryan can pull off a bad-ass look pretty well and Jerome is SUCH a sweetheart!

I usually play Noah and buy dolls in pairs to keep everything even...with all the gorgeous sculpts Iple has, can anyone even blame me for saving for Tatiana AND Collin?
