mojomaca she's beautiful, and her face is very unique (the good kind, not the hmm... that's interesting kind). Like I said, the eyelashes on Ringo are what make him look odd to me. I bet you can make him adorable.

 

There is nothing wrong with Ringo. I think he/she is cute, and I see potential in her. Company faceups sometime never do the sculpt justice.

Like Miyu for an example. Cherish made her look pouty misserable little girl. Soon I gave her a face up, she dosen't look miserable angest looking anymore.


Anyways, Rose's 1st b-day is this Sunday and I have nothing for her :_:

 

I'm looking forwards to seeing what you do with him, Mojomaca. And If you do have to turn him into a troll, I think he'd look kind of cute if you modded him to have two little tusks sticking up from that lip of doom. He'd look somewhat like Binky from Arthur. :p

 

Thank you Raigne. To tell you the truth, I didn't even notice Ringo's eyelashes -- I'll have to go look. I think his problem is with so much expression in the lower half of his face, it looks really weird that there's no expression in his eyes and particularly his eyebrows.

Love the lower tusk idea if I make him into a troll. Someone else told me I could give him a black eye and bandaid

SweetMelodies Aw, I did the exact same thing with Jasper! I had it all planned out, months in advance, what I was gonna do and then suddenly it was her birthday and I had nothing. xD Apparently I can make it up to her with "an extra special huge" birthday present next year. -rolls eyes-

What is killing Ringo for me is that exaggerated pout; s/he looks like a sweety otherwise. Ringo looks like s/he could be a beautiful baby Benny if s/he cheered up and fixed their face! I don't think I could take having a little face that looks like it's about to burst into tantrum tears looking at me all the time. It makes *me* want to cry!

I like how calm your Tatiana looks, mojomaca. She looks like she's planning something..

 

Yeah, silverholly if you could see the rest of my dolls (actually you can, here on Flickr) you'd see that I do have a thing for pouty faces!! Oh wow. She really is beautiful. In one of the shots on your flicker she looks like she could be right out of a pre-raphaelite painting.

Today is a special day =D Rose turned one year old, and also marks my 1st anniversary to this hobby

 

I have to wait to get some more ZM spray before I do my Ryan's faceup. I cleaned the head incase Iplehouse sealed it before hand, really can't tell if they seal blank heads too. Does anyone know?

 

They don't seal blank heads. It is always good to wash heads or any parts that requires dolly aesthetics. This helps to wash off any resude, dirt, etc before doing faceups/blushing. Anything on the head you can not see will show up. I had finger prints show up on my faceups before. Not fun when you have to start all over again.

 

Cool, that's what I was worried about.

 

New Tatiana is finally up (along with a new outfit). I think I like the eyes, but I'm not so fond of the lips in her new face-up option. Overall, I'm not really wowed. I think the new dress might look better on a smaller bust. I'm guessing it's on the glamor bust.

 

Oh my goodness, I love her!!! She is amazing in that new face-up.

 

I quite like Tatiana's new face up as it is in a less "punky" style than the others. I like a softer, more natural look for my dolls. My personal preference though is still for all of the old faceups.

I love the new dress though! Yay! Finally something a little dressy and pretty that isn't over-the-top ruffles! This outfit is more along the lines of the EID and SID outfits which is something I have been wishing for. I am seriously tempted to buy sister sets of this dress for my Tania and little BID Elin, and sister sets of the new Sweet Set for my I and BID Byuri.

 

Well, that dress is a great style, more retro-stylish and not so girly. But it seems to be tailored specifically for the glamour bust. There doesn't seem to be a choice of size.

 

I am excited she's finally up. I'm hoping to be able to order her next week.

It does seem like so many of the new outfits are listed as fitting on large and glamour bust but loose on small bust girls. I can understand not wanting to make multiple sizes, but it's a shame that Iple isn't offering more outfits that will work on this size.

I do like the style of the new dress and appreciate the more mature clothing options. I'm just not a fan of empire waists with higher necklines on glamour-size busts (either dolls or people), because I think it tends to look too top heavy. I'm glad it works for others, though. I spent more than enough on the last batch of new outfits Iple put out, so it's a relief when they're selling things I don't want.

Thank you for the b-day wishes. I will pass them on to her. Tati looks beautiful. I really like her new look, and still they haven't added the heel feet. I'm starting to fall in that direction that you won't be able to buy them for our exsisting girls.

 

I'm not digging the new look on Tatiana... I woulda liked more of an Asa deal for her :P But that's just me xD

I cannot wait to get my glamour bust body. I plan on ordering some new outfits and wigs for Poe when I get to that. I wish more of the biker girl looking stuff wasn't sold out haha. I have to keep pulling myself away from the page so that I don't fall in love with something and then have it be sold out when I get around to actually buying it....

 

I'm still waiting on mine...lol I can't believe I spent like $600 on that order (body for Chandana, and clothes for her and Rohit)!

 

I wasn't impressed with the new Tatiana either. It feels like they put more effort and creativity into the others. She is one of the first JIDs. I was expecting more. Tania got to go outside for her shoot. :/ (The glamour bust is too "porn star" to me anyway..) I'd like to see the new clothes on all the bust types. It wouldn't be that difficult to include more photos. That way people could see the nearly 3cm difference from Small to Glamour and have a better idea of what they'll be getting.

 

*pops out of lurking* UMG. Life ate me for awhile. But luckily, I (and others) escaped unscathed.

...I'm not feeling Tatiana's new look. :/ But that's okay, I plan on getting my two Tatianas blank. ^^ The new dress is cute, but does not do the Glamour Bust any favors -- it probably would have looked better if the neckline were lower. It probably looks better on the Large Bust (and could possibly be easily altered for the small bust by taking in the darts and sides a little bit), and I'm tempted to get it for Suki (who should be home anytime now with a new faceup, Kale too!). But she'd respond with "NEEDS MOAR CLEAVAGE. D<" xD So I may just save my $32+shipping and go root through my stash and see if I can find that white/black dotted fabric I've got and see if can make something for Suki that shows an 'acceptable' amount of cleavage... Not that she has much to show, on her current small bust body...

 

Tatiana is back on my wishlist! I'm not crazy about the faceup but I order my dolls so I guess it doesn't matter to me. I just want to see how I like the glamor bust before deciding on Tatiana's bust size. I'll probably order her and Collin if Iple doesn't release a more mature boy soon.

SweetMelodies and Titania, with Doll Heart Clothes it is always a hit or miss thing.
But my girl even is a large bust type so some dresses fit lovely.

Yeah so am I... BUT! They do have a pretty high resell value I believe so I guess you can still sell them for quite a bit if they don't fit. Especially cause they are limiteds

They still need a little work to make them more presentable for photos -- but mostly, Kale needs his eyes repositioned. He looked all sweet in the preview photos I got from the faceup artist, but right now he kind of looks like a pervert-in-training and is up to no good.

Hopefully I can get better photos after I get them fixed up some more... ^^

I missed this the first time - I'd like to answer but I'm still writing Amy and Vance's story (started it for NaNo but I'm slow ) Right now, they're just getting used to the idea that they're stuck with each other for awhile ... not sure what they'll be doing 10 years from now.
I also saw a question in here about character ages and I'm gonna put myself out there and confess - I'm hoping a custom faceup will work 'cause I gotta age Vance to 34 ... (Amy's 23)

Her wig is indeed a combination of brown and black -- its mostly brown, and the very top layer is black. I got it from LeekeWorld, and I believe ThrowMyFaith's Charlie wears the same wig, but in a Baby Brown/Blonde combo.

Kale's grandpa was with them as well, and that means that they might have stopped for some Mexican food before coming home...
