And regular Soo Ri! I'd have them both and a double heart attack! I begged for Soo Ri in EID size when they first started noise about making EIDs, and the closest I've seen is Chase. I would absolutely LOVE it if they did Soo Ri in JID size. YUM. OR SID. OR EID.
Possibly even BID. A baby Soo Ri. I think I'd die of Cute.

She is!! But her hindeen is getting a bit big for that dress... makes me a sad panda. I'm hoping she's a little less ... endowed in her soon to come new body (i seriously hope it goes out next week as it'll have been a MONTH) :P I didn't look at measurements so I'm prolly out of luck and it'll be the same xD HAHA

 

Iple needs more Asian like JID boys for Yun to choose from. Vito is kinda boyish for her, but I might get him in RS anyways until Iple comes out with something...

My shirts from Kon'D arrived today, and the MSD Tees fit the large bust girls nicely. So far Yun scored couple tees from me and still wants more...I have to order a pair of canvas flats for her soon.

I need to start spoiling Rose...

This is just a first trial, and I'm not quite as happy with the results as I was yesterday. I had a very hard time finding feathers small enough, and thinking of ways to make them stay in. In the end, I deciding just to stick the pointy end of the feather in the netting of her wig cap. It has stayed in so far. *shrugs*

Ban Sidhe- I think a Jerome would be prefect for Vance! Jerome has a strong look that tells me he could just about keep up with that Rheia of yours

Not sure where to ask but does anyone know if putting an Iplehouse head onto a FL Minifee boy body is possible? I love Joshua's head but not sure what the Iplehouse bodies are like Thanks to anyone who can help

 

Katherinex; I can try this out for you when I get home from work if you'd like, but I don't think it will work. JID boys have big heads to match their big bodies and MNF are very slim dolls with small heads. It would look really bobble headed. I also don't think the resin would match at all though you may get lucky if you do white skin for both.

 

I got the body!! So far it's VERY tightly strung, I'll have to fix that later. I miss the size of the butt, but the new system is great. And theres HEEL FEET! I'll get pictures after my orthodontist appointment, I promise. I also got Ellena a new wig. Don't worry, though, it's the same as her old one. I'm just not going to cut off the bangs this time.

A comment on the punk girl set: the bra does not work on a small bust, and the panties won't fit an old style butt. So Charlie gets a bra and Ellena gets panties I guess.

 

So the butt on the new body is smaller? My girls would be happy with that, though that's one of the things I loved about the JID girl body -- the large tush.

 

I can't wait to see pics as well, I was wondering if they made a lot of changes to the JID girl body. I wonder if they will alter the clothing they have now or make new styles.

 

Is the butt a lot smaller or just a bit? I'd love my new girl to fit in some of the clothing that I ready have.

The panties from the punky girl set barely fit on the NEW style butt either! I'm going to have to split a side open and sew some velcro on them to keep them from ripping any more than they already have.The lace on the sides just doesn't have enough give in them to slip over the thighs and hips without catching in the joints. So, a word of caution to anyone who's interested in the set/has bought it but doesn't have it yet. The underwear is very delicate and not something I'd leave on the doll for long. Except the bra. That's totally fine for the large bust and glamour bust.

But I've been playing around for the past hour or so with the new body and old, and with clothes I ordered, and my old stuff. I did take pictures, with comparisons to Charlie's body, but I have to leave for my ortho in about twenty minutes so I don't have time to put them on the computer. (On my ipad right now actually) I'll get clothed pictures when I get back, probably.

The new body is still strung way, way to tight for me to get any decent pictures of how the elbow joints really work, because there's just not enough give in the string to work with. But Ellena is currently a CHAMPION one-foot stander, and still a champion sitter. I really like the balance of the new body. And, let me say this: there's not an annoying seam anywhere. They're barely visible. So it's nice to know that this is something Iple is keeping up with.

Ok so, the new butt: Yes, it's smaller. She doesn't fill out her pants like she used too (and I will miss this so much!!) but she can still wear them. This wasn't a super dramatic body change, honestly, just a refining. We won't be putting them in slim mini clothes, or anything like that. Everything we have still fits. I think the largest and only real difference, clothing wise (there are a lot of differences, joint wise), is going to be underwear. I'd still peg them as wearing SD undies, but it'll probably be a little looser than before and not catch in the joints as much.

The only other size difference I've noticed that isn't a centimeter or less than is the width of the elbows. A bit wider now, to accommodate the new joint. That doesn't really...effect anything, though. It's just wider.

And I feel bad for Ellena. Her head is so yellow compared to the new body. It just barely shows up in pictures, so I'm alright with it, but it's silly looking in real life. But her face up is still brand new so I'll have to wait a long time before I can get her head blushed to match.

 

HLG I love the coloring around Rowan's eyes with her new face up! Sorry I know I was supposed to be looking at the feather but her eye shadowing distracted me! LOL

Yes! And YES! About the national spam day. I can't believe Rose is going to be one years old in couple days. I'm happy others agree with me about having more Asian JID boys. I always wanted JID Bichun, Lee or even Storm

 

A JID Bichum would be wonderful too, I wonder if Iplehouse will listen to our ideas and make them later on.

 

Doh! I'm totally jealous that someone got their body already. Then again, it was prolly normal skin so I guess it's ... forgivable AHAHA!! I seriously can't wait to get mine. Did you post photos of it yet?

Thanks for the pictures ThrowMyFaith! Those new joints/stringing have my interest really peaked. Standing on one leg is an awesome improvement and the elbow joints definitely look better, no more pulling out the arm to fold it.

Also, I'm really curious, has anyone else noticed that their JID girl's left leg is quite a bit longer than the right (the old body of course) My Tayler has to stand leaning to one side most of the time because of her uneven legs...it's a little ridiculous. Hope that's not just mine?

My JID Ryan just arrived and he is just perfect!!! Now I can paint him this weekend. Poor guy is naked as a jay bird, but it's all good. I'll order him some clothing now.

Gemma looks lovely in her witch outfit, HLG! Makes me miss the days when I was a Potterhead. Does she and Rowan get into arguements about whether HP or Twilight is cooler?

Oh, and I think I have sussed why Tatiana isn't updated. Although she's marked as sold out, you can apparently buy her in WS with small bust. Remember all those NC Trapeze versions that didn't sell? Yep. If you want a Tatiana, you've gotta settle for one of those. Or wait for CDS to open.

I don't know why Iple hasn't updated poor Tatiana. There are still some Trapeze Tanias available for sale as well and she's been updated.

 

I updated the JID flicker group. I'm starting a Clothing database over there since the one here on DoA is unorganized. Unless we can make a new one that is more organized, so people don't have to weed through pages, after pages..

Huh? I don't get this response! They have told collectors for years now they would take note of customer requests to release more manly-looking JID's. I think this is just an off-the-cuff reply and hope they still mean to pay attention to their JID boy line at some time down the line. I just hope they don't put the sculptor of the new BID Ringo in charge! If that is the aesthetic Iplehouse is heading towards in general, they are going to lose the majority of their customers!

I am still hoping there will be some handsome new JID boy sculpts to fall in love with when the JID Elemental Guardians come out. I am kind of hopeful they will release JIDs next - they did BID's first (smallest size), then EID's (largest size), so it makes sense to me that they would do their second-smallest size next.

I finally took some pictures of my Asa! When she arrived she really wasn't what I was expecting. With that nose she just doesn't seem Asian to me, maybe in a lighter skin tone but I really wanted a RS doll. Anyway, her character has done a complete 180. It was really rough for a while and I was considering selling her but all the lovely spam here really kept my hopes up so thanks everyone! After I get some pics up on Photobucket I'll be sure to post some here and introduce her.

 

Wow I didn't even notice the new BIDs...That thing is scary as hell What were they thinking, it doesn't even look like one of their dolls...maybe a notlab doll or something.

I too was hoping to see a little more mature looking faces for the JID boys They just don't match those bodies to me.

 

Um like err. She kinda looks like Amy with a sad face? Kudos for them being gutsy, but I hope its just Ringo. Only reason why I love Iple is their realistic sculpts. I just think Iple spends more time with their SID/EID line then then they do with YID or JIDs

It may just be me, but the eyes with the really long lashes on the bottom like Ringo seem like they're upside-down. I emailed about Tatiana, since she's the one I've picked out as my first BJD. If I get a response I'll post it here.

 

I finally asked Iple when Tatiana will be back up for sale: "And, the Tatian will be releaesd in 5 days." So hopefully Tatiana will be back up for sale next week.

Purchasing Ringo yesterday (stop the Ringo hate!! LOL) made me take Tatiana out of her box for the first time in forever. I had wiped her lovely Iple faceup when I got her -- figuring since I'm an artist I could do a better one. Well -- no I couldn't so there she sat, embarrased, in her box. Anyway, I think my faceup skills have been getting better, so Tatiana says I can introduce her in the Iple Mini thread.

I always felt bad she was the last Circus doll to get sold out.

Eh, this is probably a bad time to mention I absolutely despise the little Ringo dude (no offense) and he reminds me of some of the really ugly Souldoll sculpts. Ick. I hope Iple doesn't change their style completely, and that they're just branching out....Loving that red wig, Mojomaca, and I'm sorry for contributing to Ringo hate.

 

Hehe, thanks you guys You'll be sorry when you see how adorable Ringo REALLY is. I hope. Or it'll just be me (after spending all that money when I was all set to get Elin) embarrassed that he's as dumb looking as the Iple faceup makes him look.
