Happy Easter! Alex was unamused to be put in bunny ears and set in an easter basket. I made those ears in like an hour this morning so dont judge them too harsely. He would like all of you to know it's unbecoming for a dragon of his status and power to be posing almost nude in bunny ears. I told him to suck it up and smile. ((side note: I also walked halfway around the lake with him sitting in his underwear in an easter basket. It was amusing))



I clothed him and took a few more pictures which I'll be posting in the JID photo thread. He wore the ears the entire time though.

Am happy to announce that those excellent skinny leather jeans fit the Muscle body just fine.... Max has gone all rock-star.

Cause dude, it took me 10 minutes to get Alex to do this simple pose, cause of his freaking skin tight iplehouse jeans. However he does look fine in them, very fine. And that shirt, which is from iplehouse, is almost too tight on him, it's too short when he's standing for sure. Why can't iplehouse give us proper fitting clothing?

 

I have that very same shirt for my Ryan and it fits perfectly on the muscle body. I do want to know about those leather pants, can the JID boys sit in them?

 

really? that's so weird. It's like a muscle shirt on him, if you look close you can see his nipple on the side without the pocket. And when he stands it shows his stomach unless I was very careful to pull it down and then I had to casually pose one of his hands so it was holding the shirt down. He's on the muscle body.

 

actually at that size the tiniest variation in cutting/sewing can affect the fit of a garment in a big way. that's why two of the same size items can fit differently. (it can happen in full size garments too)

 

That same grey t-shirt fits both Muscle & Model bodies in my house, too. It's very thin & stretchy fabric, so you're gonna see his nipples through it no matter how loose it is. ^^ But mine must be cut a little larger, because it's not that tight even on Max. I would in fact like it tighter, so perhaps I'll just go buy a new one and hope they're still making 'em small, heheh.

Max can sit most-of-the-way-down in the skintight leathers, but requires unbuttoning to sit the rest of the way down-- in other words, pretty much like all his other pants. I haven't tried them on Ripley yet, but I expect his Model butt will have an easier time sitting in them. (In fact, I hope I don't need to buy him his own pair because Max's giant ass stretched them out too far. )

You know what's REALLY crackheaded about these beautiful pants? - They have real working front pockets. Which, sure, a nice touch, but that is the absolute LAST thing you need on skintight leather pants! (a) They're too tight to put anything in the pockets in the first place, and (b) the pockets show right through the pants, spoiling the line of the thigh. Oh Iples, I'll have whatever you're smoking for breakfast.

 

They don't sell that gray shirt any more. It was part of the massive clothes sale they just had, and I just went to look at the model pictures and they were gone. How about we just swap? Alex would like his stomach fully covered lol.

 

Aww, but he has the best midriff evar!

 

hehe, he does. He wonders why I bother buying him shirts at all since I like to take shirtless pictures so much. However when he is wearing a shirt he's like his midriff covered lol.

 

I took a bunch more pictures of Max's big leather butt for the Gallery. Well, OK, I did take some pictures of his face too, although the butt-magnetism was difficult to resist.

I second the vote for you to make shorts for your boy too.... The more JID butts we get in here, the more beautiful the world will be.

Wow, you found standard-MSD sized underwear that fits a JID boy butt?? I must go find some!

 

Since we're talking so much about butts and underwear I felt this picture needed to make a reappearance.

LOL Tiku, what a great set of bloomies! Girlfriend is good'n'ready to do some cancan. (Yi! Yi! Yi!) Can she stand with one leg bent? That'd show enough leg to get the floorshow started.

Daniel is a perfect sculpt for that! Has this young-old thing going on. He has a serious expression like JID I, but he's got SID Giorgio's sensuous features, and he's just a beautiful guy. I would love to have a Daniel, but he's not quite frivolous enough. My JID style is definitely on the frivolous side, and I don't have the shelf space to start collecting serious minis. ^^

 

Thanks! They're SD undies from dollmore lol. And they're almost too small, they barely fit him. As always when buying from dollmore for these guys you have to check the measurements first because dollmore doesn't believe in a standard size.

I literally checked the Iplehouse dolls facebook group just as the seller posted that. I wasted ZERO time and jumped on it. Lol I think she'll be fine, Rosalie can take care of herself and Andy isn't the threatening type. If anyone should be the one to fear, it's Lacie lol

 

OMG artisticadelle I totally agree with Lady Tiku. You are so lucky! I've been looking for that dress since the day I first saw Asa. Wow, I've never even seen it on someone's doll except on their old doll opening pics on Flickr. Nice find. And Rosalie looks lovely

Poor lil Rose deserves to have something nice and pretty, she only has three dresses, two of which were crappily made by me and the other she came with. It's funny, the dress costed more than what I paid for Rosalie, she was $75 at the expo and the dress was $85. Poor girl is missing her heeled feet so no pretty heals to go with this dress

Aaaw, artisticadelle, a while ago, I was after that dress, too My Tess decided she likes other clothes better, but on your Rosalie it looks really beautiful

 

awww Ripley looks so adorable with his serious face on. That's one of the things that drew me to this sculpt for Alex. He can look serious when he wants too but doesn't look that way all the time. This is the same pose as the picture I posted before to show his sitting pose, just a different angle, he looks way more serious in this picture then he does the other one.

hehe. It really is a muscle shirt on him. darn him and his rippling muscles. I still really want to make a trip to CA sometime to get our Colins together. I'll bring all my iples ((all 3 of them lol, though might have more by then who knows XD)) and my ladies can be the lone girls lol. Alex may get extra protective of Fedora though surrounded by all those handsome iple men .

Ripley is a gorgeous kid alright, and so versatile.
