I’m starting to get really antsy abput my own Vera shipping, I want to see that curvy body in person!!

 

So sorry somehow I missed seeing your question earlier. The instructions have Fabric & Notions: cotton, linen blends, knits, woven fabric with stretch. 4/0 snaps and tiny buttons.
In the pattern photos, it looked like a sweater over a shirt, so that is why I chose that fabric.
Yes, Dane does seem to suit the muscle body best. I am not sure who my model guy will be. I really want Lahela and Doria might be a 'have to have' doll too. I have her in EID/LB...well now DB I guess.

Aaagh, only a few days left and then I can order my girl! The wait to be able to order is almost worse than the wait to get the actual doll usually is! This will be my first time actually paying in full without the help of a credit card or tax return too!
I have her eyes and the hair for her wig already. I need to order her some boots once he-meife comes back from vacation as well. I may attempt to make some leggings for her for when she arrives. . though it'll be hard without having a doll of the curvy body's proportions. Perhaps I can use a raccoon girl and just shift some measurements around (like the waist).

I'm already over here planning the next doll after Madchen too. I finally managed to find the picture of Elle I needed to see and she will do nicely for my character Charlie. I used to have Char shelled in an SD size doll . . hybrid Elfdoll Vivien on an nYiD body acutally. . . but I decided the size wasn't my thing. . . except now that they have the right body in the FID size. . . now I need her again! Gotta add to the ever growing coven of witch dolls over here.

 

Hi! Got dropped from the alerts again. Great to see so many beautiful doll photos!!!!
I am in waiting mode for the traditional Korean wedding dress, a couch, a Chewin wig, Junho (Jae Jin's ns model body kpop brother ordered in Feb.), new body parts, etc. I may wait till Junho arrives for the wedding to happen.

Meanwhile Yoona is working on her kpop dances for a tour before her wedding. I am quite ready for the wedding with backdrops and props for various ceremonies.

Most people who ordered in December got their orders in late March. Big delays. I ordered in February so I'm expecting at least the full 2 months.

 

I asked about my two FID orders (Jan 31st and Feb 5th) and Iple told me since the FIDs were popular it would take 20-40 business days.... I’m currently at 42 for the first one and they didn’t tell me anything about my actual orders. Both dolls are blank, curvy bodied girls, and all I ordered for extras was a pair of resin shoes.

 

Ordering extra stuff with your dolls can delay your order. For example, if the dolls are ready but the shoes, etc., ordered with them aren't, shipping will wait until everything is ready to go. The only extras I order with dolls anymore are fullsets that go with the doll. Anything else I order separately.

 

I did. Or almost at least. My Lahela, ordered on February 2nd arrived at customs in my hometown yesterday.

 

I know, but the shoes I ordered are the resin ones they make with the feet that come with them. I really hope my girl ships next week, I can’t wait to see the curvy body

So Christmas before last I ordered some Dollshe Fashion girl hands with the intent of giving them to a doll who I had but no longer do of course . . they came today, so I tried them on the FID's just to see if they work sizewise. . They look lovely. I took some photos of Echo wearing them (though they won't be hers since I am WAY too lazy to paint her little tattoos on yet another 3 sets of hands right now.) I'll just have to get her her own. . .

I knoooow. If I get the opportunity though, I'd do it again cause the hands are SO PRETTY. Maybe Echo can keep two of the hands from this batch >___> . . . maybe.

@TatterPunk those look great! How it the wrist posing ? Soon as I’m done being lazy I’m going to try my jointed doll chateau hands on my raccoondoll

 

Has anyone tried jointed hands on FIDs? I love the idea of jointed hands for my posing obsession, but the 1/4 hands look too puffy and young to me, not to mention how much I love the grace of the static hands.

 

@Patrice S I'm glad they worked, I just wish it were easier to come by them. T__T I know I'm gonna get more if they offer them separate again. . . but I'll be sad to have to wait so long. (of course I'll probably forget about them a while in though like I did this time).

Wrist posing is pretty good. The little hook-gap doesn't show too badly since it's smaller than the Iple one. . it's kinda also nice not having to worry about adjusting the little wrist rings too lol. Or losing them. I know there's a gray one somewhere out in my yard lol.

 

Another question: how do people keep stocking up? Mine always wrinkle up after one photo.

 

I tried the Doll Legend 1/4 hands on Echo, they're HUGE on the girls. I'm actually using them on my Raccoon Doll man now. I can pop one on Simon and see how that looks tomorrowish. I just wish there were really nice 1/4 size man jointed hands with veins. I love me some hand veins but they're only ever around on the bigger hands T__T.

Pretty much the same way as you do on humans. Fashion tape. Just have to make sure you clean the area well after removal so there's nothing left to gather dirt.

I hope FID Doria comes in a limited theme outfit like Isabel, and not as a basic without clothing choices like Lahela.
Maybe in a space princess theme since they have that space pirate and space CREEA lol

Well, the day has begun in Iple-land so now it's just waiting for them to open up sales on the FID's again and I can get Madchen ordered finally!
I really look forward to seeing what Doria looks like too. . also hoping she comes with a theme outfit even though I'm not getting it or her this time around obviously. I love seeing what Iple comes up with in their themes!
I've gotten boots ordered for Madchen (I got her some brown ones from he-meife on ebay), and her eyes came the other day (ordered AD3x paperweights in Hibiscus for her) and I have had the alpaca hair for her wig since the new year. . I AM SO READY! LET ME ORDER MY DOLL!!

 

@GreenTeaSlug I chose the athletic body with the large breast since it suits her character best. Very excited to get her, she will be my first FID girl.

@TatterPunk the FIDs are for sale now, but I do not see Doria - maybe she will not be released this month? You mentioned he-meife boots on ebay. I tried to find the shop before, but unsuccessfully. Do you maybe have a link? Thank you

Doria should show up within a few days. They usually take a little bit to get everything situated at the beginning of the release before they put in the new faces.
Here's the Link to He-meife's store. I usually get the Tonner Matt shoes for my girls. Echo has the combat boots. Simon wears the Peter Pevensie combat boots and motorcycle boots, the fit will vary on the various styles in both sizes though, so be wary.

She is ordered!! I ordered blank Isabel in glow white skin on the new curvy body with the small bust. Now begins my stay over in the waiting room.

@TatterPunk Im curious why you chose glow white skin instead of regular white?
I thought normal and white is almost the same, but there is a big difference for PG, SRS when it comes to glow

I would like to see your Isabel when she arrives, I think the combination you chose will make her look very nice

@Ashemanu I think thats a great combination for Lahela, because I personally like Lahela best on the HID, it fits the proportions of her head nicely

My partner and I had been struggling with msd versions of our ocs and had been considering going to SDs until just last night when we went through the FIDs and were able to find suitable sculpts for EVERYONE we needed like really easily. Guess we will have to wait until the next order period. If I recall correctly, it seems like they do a FID order period every other month, right?

 

The glow resin appears just the slightest bit more luminous in the white and normal colours from what I've seen. Madchen's character is albino, so I wanted a little bit of a difference in the appearance of the underlying resin than Echo who is regular white and just goth pale under her freckles.
There will most definitely be photos once she arrives. I'm super excited to finally get to work on her soon(ish).

There's always the layaway option (I am an enabler). Iplehouse allows for a three part layaway over the course of three months. First third is due when you order, then the second 30 days later, and the third 30 days after that. You can of course pay these second two payments sooner as well.
But yes, the next order period after this will be June, then August, then October, and then December.

o0o! That... That is a lot more doable....

 

When you go to check out, you click the paypal thing and then it'll have a layaway option with a dropdown menu where you can choose 2 or 3 payments. It'll have you set up a payment thing with paypal but usually I cancel that part and pay manually after the first payment so nothing goes weird or anything.
This was the first time I've managed to pay in full for a doll without putting it on a credit card. In the past it's been a lot of layaways.

My Grandma’s doll, a BID, just shipped and it was ordered almost a month after my FID Vera. Excited for my grandma but dying on the inside because I want to see the curvy body!!! Iple!!! Where’s my doll!!! Lol

 

Sorry for double post but PSA to all those who ordered FIDs in Feb and are going to this month, expect a LONG wait and don't ask Iple for order updates because I got told to not ask again even though I was asking for shipping clarification since two orders were placed within days of each other.
Iple now says that FIDs have a wait time of 60-90 business days and that's without faceups/body blushing, clothing, etc.

 

Hmm, well hopefully then I'll get Madchen between midsummer and lammas (of course I'm hoping closer to midsummer and before my birthday in mid july) Either way, as long as it's not a Dollshe type wait I will survive.
It seems a little rude to tell you not to ask again though. How many days in are you? @artisticadelle

 

I ordered on Jan 31st/Feb 1st Korean time, literally the second they went up for sale lol, so im 44ish business days in, 61 regular days. My other order (moms doll) was only 5 regular days after mine. Both are blank, only extras are a pair of resin shoes on my order.

 

@artisticadelle yeah I agree that was pretty rude. I understand companies can get overwhelmed but that’s not how they should convey that to customers. I’m also waiting on an order from Feb 2 (2 FID ladies with faceups, 1 basic 1 custom). I thought they would have shipped by now since it was usually 2 months for FIDs with faceups for me.

 

Maybe its someone different running the boards these days? I remember leaving them a note after making an order and always they would write the notes in Korean in my original order when replying to me, now its been almost a week, and there is no added comments in Korean

Maybe someone has been hassling them about their order and thought maybe its the same person or they have been getting many asks about that, but still its a bit disheartening to be asked not to ask them again, Im sorry about that

I think they are on a backlog from the December orders. I ordered and paid in full for a doll from the first day of the Christmas event, and he still has not shipped. I havent asked about him or worried about it because I know they are reliable and will ship eventually.

I asked about Kamau and they said they might if there is demand for him, so I wonder if anyone would be realistically purchase him if there ever was a release in FID?

If its not too much to ask, if anyone gets the curvy body and Aurora, I would love to see how she looks on that body once those bodies start shipping and arriving to their owners, I know its much too early for that now

Yeah I think its someone different. And I think they told me not to ask again because I left two messages two days in a row asking about the orders, but one of them is my mom’s so I had to ask for her, and the only reason I asked again was because the first answer wasn’t clear on if they would ship together or separate. Not too keen on ordering from them for a while now and I’ve been a loyal customer for 6 years.
Also I have a curvy girl coming in and I already own an Aurora, I can put her on that body once it arrives but the resin difference will be severe as the body is white and head light brown lol

 

I asked on the Q&A page and thats what they had told me.

 

They probably don't mean to be nasty. With a large number of orders and the Asian new year adding to the delay, thg hey are probably feeling stress from a large number of inquiries.

 

I think a lot of businesses took two weeks for the new year this year.

Have they said she was coming out in the April ordering period, or is it speculation that I ran with? lol...I would feel dumb if I was refreshing every day and she was meant to come out in the June period, or they just gave a vague "shes coming soon" meaning no specific timeline was mentioned

I dont mind the skin color, I was curious how her face proportions would match up with the shoulder/neck/torso ratio if it was fitting, or it would look like an EID head on a nYID body.
The FID all look similarly proportioned so Im hopeful it would look nice!
