IMPLDOLL Young 46cm Mini Discussion.

First thing I thought was his eyes looked like galaxies and then I read It's frustrating when the camera doesn't capture the magic. I already thought they were amazing anyways though @vicemage

 

@IngieBee yeah, they have some of the look in pictures, but there's a depth and sparkle that you just can't quite get on the camera that they have in-person. Something about the way he makes his galaxy marbles, they look far deeper than you'd think they should!

 

Does anyone have an Impldoll Xavier Cyborg, or even pictures of one? I just bought a blank one (new to me) and don't have a clue how he should be painted. I especially need help with his weapon and arms. I'd appreciate anyone's help.

 

Susu, 44cm Impldoll Girl - BJD, BJD Doll, Ball Jointed Dolls - Alice's Collections

I don't very often feel this tempted to hit the buy button, but Susu is really difficult to resist I really like the 2 new Impl Young girls, especially the fuller body.

 

I can't agree more! First Susu- who immediately captured my attention- and now Vivi?!
I'm a sucker for romantic looking sculpts.... Both of them are so beautiful, I love their soft round faces and graceful new body!
I'm really trying to resist having one of them shell an OC, it'll open a can of worms....

 

They are so, so hard to resist! The first thing I saw were the new body type, and I loved it from the moment I saw it Personally I feel like some dolls are just meant to be. Right now I feel like I just have to have Susu, So I guess it is as good as decided that I do need to order her, eventually. But when idk. I have to prioritize saving up for a new laptop, and one that I can play The Sims and Spore on.

I realize that I may have a problem with same face syndrome I love Vivi too but I'm trying to have a bit more face style variation in my collection. When it comes to stylized dolls I tend to fall for round, cute and bigger eyes. And I realize that my stylized doll family all got round faces, pretty much Delf Dan being the newest member of the round face crew


Um, does Susu have eyebrows? I do prefer with eyebrows, but I can't tell if she got it or not.

 

Does anyone with Susu or Vivi have trouble finding clothes for them? I tried a few outfits on my normal size MSDs, outfits that I thought of as big, but they all fit normally. The small bust is19 cm, like a lot of MSDS, so that might be okay, but the large bust is 21 cm, and I wonder if it will fit most of the clothes by, say Alice's Collections. I don't really want a doll with an all custom made clothes.

 

I have no idea about clothes. I'm going to start saving up for Susu soon. Never had this kind of MSD body before. What I want for her is a cute summer style, and I will be ordering from Alice's Collections and take my chance it'll fit.

But when I got her, I will custom order clothes later if I have to, I think she's worth it

 

Hey everyone I’m thinking of hybriding a Minifee head on the 1/4 plump body. Anyone know which color would be the best match?

Ah! I finally picked up my tan Susu and she's absolutely amazing. The plump body is even prettier in person and I was really blown away by the quality of her resin, smooth yet not shiny at all.

Oh! @Chraurelius , I'll test the MSD clothing I have on hand and let you know what fits since I have the large bust you were wondering about.

Impl Susu
I finally gave my Susu a faceup! (And some clothes lol) I’m so in love with the Susu sculpt Her round cheeks are so cute! I gave her thick brows inspired by various k-pop idols cuz I thought it suited her. Plus a little beauty mark cuz I love adding a bit of asymmetry to my dolls

 

Oh, wow. It's been a while since I've looked through Impldoll's catalogue, so I've missed seeing some great sculpts! Susu has such a soft face without looking outright childlike, she's really gorgeous! The company photos for her oddly gives me some Shelley Duvall energy? I think it's those soft lips combined with the dark, wet-looking eyes.

 

I can see it! Especially with the Impl faceup. Like if Shelley had chubbier cheeks. It’s the wet eyes like you said. Plus faint eyebrows I think.

 

Impldoll have just released a new basic girl body and model body - and at the moment if you order it you get a free blank head and heel feet! The free head sculpt - Anja - is so cute, she looks like she might maybe fit in with the fashion type MSD dolls like Sartoriaj and Iplehouse FID - which makes it very tempting for me!!! Anyone else thinking of getting her while there's such a great special on?

 

Are there any photos of blank heads for Anja or Susu? I can't find them on either acbjd or Impldoll's own website. I'm considering either of these dolls on the plump body but I'm worried that it's the official photos of them that I like and not the actual dolls haha

I've ordered an Anja in grey skin on the plump body. I saw her and knew exactly what I wanted her to be like. I'm super stoked.

Oh oh oh. My Anja arrived today. I'm completely in love with her. Her body is very well-engineered - she holds poses effortlessly, and just handling her, the joints are buttery smooth. Her resin has super nice physical qualities to it. Her grey skin is slightly on the green side rather than the more violet I was expecting, but she's my first doll with a "fantasy" type skin tone, and I'm really enchanted with her. I've been amassing a new dollie family rather quickly, and I've had a little trouble making connections. She's aligned with my concept for her the best of all of them on arrival, so far!
She came with extra hands and extra feet - both heel feet and pointe feet! Her Plump body, I can say with confidence, won't be wearing any pants - skirts and dresses only for this one! She really is darling. I got the small bust for her, and it lends her a petite quality that offsets her curvaceous hips in a very cute way.

after much waffling I think an impldoll body will suit my Amadiz Koti head best, and I'm really interested in the new version of their moveable shoulder body in 43cm that hasn't been released yet. I hope it gets released during their spring or summer event! I really like their dolls because of the resin colors offered (no one makes a dark tan like Impldoll!) Is anyone else looking forward to this release (or know anything about it?)
