Ohh awesome work Impldoll! you really out do yourselves time and time again!... I wonder if the deer body will be available separately... and is it really basic? not limited?? because that would be so cool!... the deer body is so lovely! awesome work!

 

She is really cute! I am quite impressed with the elegance of that deer body and the detail on it. Love the hooves and the fur around the ankles

Just AMAZING! I'm just so, so impressed! Impl you have outdone yourselves again! I hope we will get a handsome boy to go along with her! I've wanted an MSD size centaur for awhile!

 

Finally a centaur type msd body. I'll be getting it in white skin eventually for my Soom borol head to finally have my small centaur XD though it will be a kirin.

 

Oh~ I love the hooves and the leg hair is so beautifully sculpted~

The tail seems ball-jointed... I hope it's the case: it would make it so much more solid and articulated than if it's held with a magnet!

It's really sad that the swivel joint on the upper arm is gone, though... That's one of my favorite perks on Impldoll's bodies.

 

I'm very impressed with this doll and hope that the body will at some point be available for sale separately! I really love how nice the proportions are. I have a floating head or two that would look awesome on this body!

 

I love all of it!! Impldoll has done some amazing work here, and it's nice to FINALLY see a female deer!! I really hope she isnt limited, because I want her really badly!!!!

Impl is fast about giving us what we want aren't they! -laughs- Wonderful! I wonder what amazing things they will put out in this line next? I'm hoping for a naga!

 

An MSD sized naga would be so amazing, especially if it was jointed!

 

Does a 46 cm female work with a 52 cm male? If so then maybe she could be a mate for all those Zincs and Hornblends out there.

 

I don't like her face...it's a little bit strage...

But I really like her body~

i love the body design,and the legs are great. lovely work impldoll. im just not so sure about the face - would love to see a different head on the body and then that would be perfect!

I love her! the first thing i noticed was her face...she will have to be a sister to be RS Li...especially because i can get her in tan!....i like the dear body too...though i think i would like to put a different head on it just because the Trista head would need to be a human!...wow im really excited about her!...shes going on the wish list for sure!

 

impldoll have updated their site, now you can buy the deer body sepertate to the head and choose male or female body!

 

I am excited about the deer body alone. I am wondering about size and resinmatches though, what could possibly go with this body?

 

very nice, nice to see a centaur body that is not a limited.
I am hoping that they will make a more horse-like body in the future.

 

I'm fairly impressed with the sculpting... but that is not a deer body. The anatomy is just too off for me. The lower torso is nowhere near deep enough and deer just don't have furry legs like that.

On the other hand, she would work as a traditional unicorn, which has characteristics of both a deer and a horse. You'd just need to sculpt a different tail.

(I've never been too crazy about Impldoll's faces, but I really like the sculpting on the human body.)

 

I am totally in love this deer body! And seriously thinking about a hybrid for her.

I really love the body...but does anyone know what heads from other companies might fit on the deer body?

I think the head will work out for what I have in mind with the right Face-up. Also, I ordered him in white and since I probably will not need the horns, I'll be using them for a dying experiment, cause I want mine to be green -^-^-

@Vineyardelf: Supposedly DZ and Dikadoll colors often match Impldoll. I don't know which ones. Probably the normal skin, I'd guess?
I don't have a normal skin here, unforunately. I only have a Real Skin Aimee or I could do some comparissons with other skins ^^° Sry.

Oh yay I found this thread again!! I recentally got an Trista head on a bobobie body! Here is Wisteria not her wig, her's should be in the mail!!!

 

@Vineyardelf: Well, the head circumferences of the two centaurs are 18 cm => 7,2" whereas DZ for example has 19 cm => 7,6", RS for example has exactly 18 cm as well. Unless you mean the neck part?

@fridayismycat: Ah, you instantly rooved that with a bit of a different face-up a doll can instantly look different once more. I admit Trista's expression in default FU kind of... put me off...

Didn't even think of circumference, silly me ^__^;; but yeah, I was thinking of the neck. I'm still a bit new at all this.

 

Well at the very bottom of the page the sizes are listed.
Neck cirumference of the deer boy is listed as 7 cm.
Checking out one of Impldoll's Implchilds their necks are either 7 cm (females) or 7,2 cm (males). Which would make them both fit.
If you are generally looking for heads on other companies, just check out the 'full doll' of the head you'd like to use and check the neck circumference there
AoD for example has most head with 7,5 which would require you to or someone of your choice to mod the head a little by filling up the gap and possibly 'blush' that part so it isn't too noticable.

And I'm 'kinda' new into this. Only a bit over a half year now :3

Ahhh I really like the deer body! On the other hand, I don't really like the tuft of fur Sam has at the neck of the centaur body/waist of the human body... I wonder if Impldoll is willing to custom-make a human male body on top of the female deer body? S:

Snowy, I hope you'll post a lot of photos when your Sam arrives! I won't be getting him myself anytime soon, my character dolls come first, but seeing owner pictures will surely ease the longing XD

 

@syntheticality: I think the fur-thing around the hip is removable because I've seen a Trista with male body and it didn't have that.
If it does I might remove it.

On a side note... I decided to spoil myself since it's my birthday at the end of the month and switched my order a little.

I'm getting a TAN Sam and a white MALE Trista.

Now, we knwo the face is lovely, but has anyone gotten the whole doll yet? I am in love with the centaur faun idea and really want to make Trista a part of my collection. However, I am not too sure about which skin tone I want. I'm pretty sure that I am going to shoot for tan,but I want to see more at home photos of the centaur body.

According to impl, my deers should be done in a month as well, but I'm personally estimated them to arrive in 1,5-2 months :3 Then I can spam deer pics everywhere XD

Thank you!!! I hope this thread gets more active now that there are some more of these guys ordered (even if mine isnt on the deer body!) She still needs her outfit finished, and hopefully her bow and arrows, but I'll see how I go!

She kind of looks more gentle and refined now
Did you add something to her FU on the left side of her face or are those hair strands?

Either way with that new wig and from that perspective, she looks even prettier

Snowy Thank you!! Yes she is kinda supposed to be gentle and kind, but she can be a blodd thirsty killer at the same time!! Yes I did there scars, she has some over her hearts next to her right eye, but her hair is covering that!

I fought with myself for a little but gave in and asked if Trista's head is already cast ^^° If not if it would be possible to switch the head out for a Devin one >3< Can't help it, he'd be perfect >3<

I'm guessing no one has a Sam yet? I've been debating if I want my deer girl to be Trista or Sam..I love trista's face, but the ears seem a little strange to me. would love to see any Sam spam if someone has one.

EDIT: oops...nevermind just saw your box opening photos..lol..gah I want them both I wish I could order both and then get 2 free dolls since I'm having a problem deciding on the implbaby to choose..lol..ah well I'll have to save one for another event in the future.

ah so cool that fur piece on the front is just magnetic...whew...that good to know I wasn't sure how I felt about that..lol. also which 2 tinies is it that you received. That dark tan is gorgeous.

 

The new Adela is too darling for words. The minute I have the money she will be mine.

 

I really like Adela's look, too! She's got a beautiful face (which I like a lot more than Trista's...) and a horn! XD
I just wished her ears were more like "normal" elf ears. They look more like mermaid ears...

Btw, I've got a question for all Impldoll doll owners here:
What is the quality of the resin like? Is it heavy or light, shiny or matte?
And does anybody have comparison photos of the different skintones? I guess the "Real skin" is more yellow than "Pink skin"?

Oh, and how posable is the human body? It looks fine from the company photos, but I'd like to read your experiences. =)

 

I like the ears. Her horn is kinda unicorn like too so idk well see what she becomes. I have a few ideas for her atm.
I'm brand new to it all but my first is an Impldoll baby. She stands great but I've only ever used her hoofs and she poses well so far. Shes pretty matte to me. The "pink skin" is definitely less yellow then the "real skin". My pictures are Gela with pink skin no blushing or anything. No comparison tho.

 

Hi everyone - may I leap into the fray?

I just got my Sam yesterday (along with freebie Koko). Because he's blank right now I'm not 100% convinced about him but I do have a question for you all.

HOW are the horns supposed to attach? He arrived with a big pile of magnets but there are no holes for installing them inside the headcap -- and while the magnets work well on either side of the cap itself I'm having a hard time imagining they'll hold on through a wig?

Anyone have any experience with this?

 

you could attach stronger magnets inside the headcap instead, good to know though since I'll be receiving my 2 deer dolls in the (hopefully) near future. For my resinsoul dolls that have horns I use Neodymium magnets they are very strong and will hold through a wig.

 

Just bought a tan Adela. Cant wait for her to arrive.
