@dragolivia Sorry for the late answer, but I'm using that body for my Doll Love Hugh head, and it works pretty well. The jointing and poseability is very similar to the female Impldoll Young body, I can't see much difference except for the "parts", really :'D One thing though, neither of my Young bodies were great sitters out of the box, because of how the thigh joints are engineered. But as soon as I hot glue sueded their thigh joints that problem was solved. Feel free to ask me if you need any visual reference with specific poses he can or can't do, I think I will have time this weekend to take test photos if needed. Good luck.
hi guys! i just received my Adela and Moon the other day and i absolutely love them. especially the bodies. i love how delicate they are and they appear to pose remarkably well right out of the box. i'm a bit stumped on one issue though. the site says they're 46 cm dolls.....with or without the heads my dolls don't measure any more than 42 to 43 cm max. i can't really complain since i got them as event gifts and Impldoll was kind as to cast them without the horn grooves and all....but i'm kinda disappointed since i had planned an OC and was very particular about the height . i was really counting on her to be 46 so that i could get 48 with heels. so .......basically i'm back in the market looking for another doll to replace her. has anyone noticed/ mentioned this to impldoll? i don't want to bring it up right now since i know the chiniese new year is just around the corner and i'm sure they're busy....but what do you guys think? OH!! AND!!! just an update...so Impl DOES cast Moon and Adella withought the horn grooves and since i have both with and without grooves....you'd be better off ordering them without the grooves unless you want to use hot glue to stick the horns in place. this will probably vary with each doll, but the magnets on mine are misplaces in the ones with the grooves so the horns don't sit in the grooves but outside them :P happens i suppose! it's really not a big issue but....the horns just seem to work better without the grooves.
Hello. In september I asked about shoes and dress for "young" doll, because impldoll dont sell it. 6 month passed and still no shoes and "sold out" dress. Strange, that company prefer lose money that way. So, after all, I decide to buy shoes and dress somewhere else. Here is my "young" Moon. Got it "free" on event , payed only for body blushing and face makeup. At this moment I use wing from "star" doll, so it is big for her (soon I purchase smaller wig). Eyes (14mm) is a spare from other doll, because original 12mm eyes that I got, has a white pupil and strange "inhuman" color. dress from Iplehouse JID. Dress fit almost perfectly ("almost" because of Impldoll young and Iplehouse JID size differences) Shoes from Mirodoll. Fit perfectly and, despite low price (only 12$) quality is very good
@Leons I kinda like the bigger wig on her, it looks so floofy, but still pretty in proportion with her? maybe that's just the way you photographed it though? she's very cute either way, congrats on your doll~ ^^
I have fallen in love with the new Teresa sculpt! I think that she'll be my next dolly purchase. Welcome to impldoll Anyone else planning on getting her?
Question for owners: What size wig is better, 6-7 or 7-8? Do the Impldoll heads run a little small or am I better off getting a larger sized wig?
Does anyone know if it's possible to order Trista/Sam with just the human bodies, and not the centaur ones? (Also: can you buy any of the horns separately, specifically Trista's antlers?) Thanks. Edit: Is it even possible to use the 2 front centaur legs on a human body, to make a bipedal body that still has hooves?
I just got my Young Boy body a few weeks ago, and im absolutely in love with it. Ive restrung it, but id like to do a little sueding cause he sure likes to lean back and swing his arms around! I have a 5stardoll head on the body right now that fits great. I still need to figure out a character, though! Would anyone know how well a Resinsoul Song head would fit on the Young body? theres a .5cm difference between the two (the head being intended for a 7.5cm neck) but i only have the one doll and not a ton of experience with judging sizes. would it be fine, or would it wobble a lot? i wouldnt mind hot glue suedeing the neck hole if is minor. if anyone has a RS song head, would you be able to put them together and snap a picture? Id be so thankful!
You can order Trista/Sam on human bodies, and it would be worth asking about the antlers. Impldoll is very flexible. For the centaurs, the front legs are separate from the rest of centaur body. Basically there is a human body with hooves that sits in a cup with the rest of the centaur body attached. Just take off the front legs, take the body out of the centaur cup, and re string the legs to get a faun.
Do you have any full body pictures of your faun? When I got in touch with Impldoll they just said it wasn't possible so I'd love to see what you did.

Hi there folks. Would any of you lovely people happen to know if any resin color from from IMPLDOLL matches Little Monica WS or NS? I don't need 100% match, but something around 80% ish is fine. I really like the boy body from this company and I would die if it could work with Little Monica.
Have you seen the new mini-girl, Elliot? She's super cute! She looks like the baby of Karena and Chad.
Hello, quick hybriding question. Does anyone know if an Impldoll young boy head would fit a boy kid delf neck? I have my eye on the Luts kid delf centaur body but only if I could get my Avery head on it without it looking too out of proportion.
Hello! I was wondering about Impldoll’s Adela. When you order the faceup do you recieve faceup on the horn too or no? I saw some owner pics but I’m not sure that they did it themselves or the company did it. I also wanted to know about Impldoll’s usual shipping time, I live in the US and I just want to know so I can plan ahead.
Elliot is cute, but I totally fell for Lucien...would want a girl body instead though (Elliot looks so young, but Lucien could make a wonderful older sister as well as brother to her!).
So sorry about the delay! Here's an undignified pic to show what I did with my Trista to make her a faun. Just unstring the front legs, remove the torso from the deer body and butt front "cradle", and voila! A regular human torso is revealed! Restring the front legs and you have a faun instead of a centaur. Easy peasy. Impl centaur to faun by Redrosette, on Flickr
I had the same thought about Lucien, too! They're really cute and would be a lovely girl. (My only gripe is I wish they didn't have the sculpted fur texture. Or hopefully Impl will release more dolls in a similar style without.) Great idea! About how tall is she? Does she stand and pose ok?
See, I didn't favor the sculpted hair either, but combined with the deer legs and Their sculpted hair I think it'd look pretty nice!
She stands and poses great: the big hooves combined with the sculpted fur give a good solid base for standing. She has a little bit of a tendency to want to tip backward but I think that's more about how her back is shaped. She's as tall as Impl lists her at 44cm. As a centaur she was closer to 45cm. You can definitely still do this with their taur bodies as they're listed as having human human legs and feet as a conversion option so there will be a full human torso included like I showed above.
Impldoll sent me some pictures of Lucien's blank sculpt, so I'm posting them here in case anyone else was curious! Spoiler: Lucien pics!
I really like her too- I'm wondering how she would look in dark tan. If anyone has a picture of what her face looks like without a faceup, I'd love to see, that'd help me decide! I couldn't find one on Impldoll's site.
Hi everyone, I read through this thread, but didn't see an answer so I was hoping someone could help me. How tall is the Impl Young female body? I saw some posts stating that it was only about 43 cm tall. I was hoping someone with one could take a measurement and let me know how tall she is either with or without her head. I'm thinking about getting a color matched body, but I don't want to go through the trouble if she's significantly shorter than 46 cm. Thank you!
Anyone here...? Eee... No one happens to have XiaoWei, do they? I'd like to see what she looks like outside of her company face-up and more pics of her fox parts. Ta~
Wow... it's really been nearly a year since anyone posted here? Guess I'll try to revive it, I just ordered the deer body with Moon's head, I'd love to see other people's deer and Moons while I wait!
I have a trista, though she's still a year on waiting for her dress <_< I'm a lazy bum lol. I had plans for a big impl order but that's gonna have to wait till next year's anniversary deal as I don't have the cash heh. I love their anniversary deal though. I have plans for a jet black Devon if they'll let me, maybe an Avery in a nice tan and a yosd teno in grey. I was also considering one of their smaller msd bodies for a floating head but I haven't actually seen anyone do any hybrids with those. So hmmm. What colour did you order your moon deer?
Ooh, I think I need to come up with something based on "moon deer" for his name, I love that! He'll be in white, so i can blush to just about any color. I bet they'd let you do a black doll! I have a custom color body for an older head, that's so nice I had to get more from them With this order, I'm also getting a dark tan Harley with a different head, which is awesome that they were able to do for me (I'm hybriding him, but having a potential extra head seemed like fun).
I really like the impl tiny bodies I have to admit, they're great standers. and i'm quite impressed by the deer body too. I blushed mine with splotches but I didn't really do a great job, I might redo it some day, make it look more professional. But eh. I look forward to seeing what you do with your new guys
I was hoping more people would be posting photos of the mini's. They're pretty unappreciated in comparison, especially for the price.
Here my Impldoll Trista! I like the deertaur body with the exception of the back legs - I wish they were double-jointed
She's really pretty, @plumandplume ! I love her faceup; I'll be honest, I'm not a big fan of the default Trista head, but yours might have swayed me a bit if I'd seen it before ordering (though I still really like Moon).
@plumandplume Ahh she's so cute! I just love the look of deertaurs, I'd probably pair her with one of the smaller deertaurs from Resinsoul.
I actually had her face modded because I felt the same! Moons sculpt is adorable - I have a floating Moon head myself.
Trista has a rather unusual sculpt but I kinda like it. It's unusual. Her ears bother me though, they're so... small and kinda shapeless. I think they're a bit wierd. thankfully wigs cover them hah.
I think it might be the ears that turn me off on Trista, at least in part, though I'd still love to see other faceups on her. I'm already getting antsy for my moondeer to arrive and I only recently ordered... Any deer or Moon photos to tide me over?
It's been a long, long, loooooong wait, but look who decided to show up today! That's not his permanent wig, I was just trying it out (it's going to another doll who's on order). I do like the style, so I'll have to try a few others to figure out the color. While the all-white look is kind of fun, I'm thinking the wig needs some color. (I had a cotton-candy wig I was thinking of for him, too, but the bangs don't work well with the horns and it's a little too girly-cute, so it'll go to a different doll-on-order.)
I got a secondhand Lucien today. He is adorable and will be Nugget's other head. He and Cupcake have a silly 'animal' act they do. New guy Lucien by SteamWitch, on Flickr Spoiler: Nugget and Cupcake Rabbit [/url
Wow, she's amazing! Such detail!!! Congratulations Awesome face, @SteamWitch , congrats and nugget is super cool too!
He, actually. Though the sweater is, admittedly, pretty girly! Right now I'm still waiting to get his replacement hands (he lost almost every finger in transit to me), and I've got a new wig on order for him... once those two things are here, I think I might be more or less settled on how he's getting blushed, too.
Still waiting on my boy's new hands, but I just started the process of getting some really cool eyes made for him. They're not from a typical eyemaker, they'll be from an artisan marble maker who does some really gorgeous work! (They'll also be the most expensive eyes so far, since I'm a person of simple tastes and usually just get everyone Ersa Floras, but I've felt like his "galaxy" style marbles would make cool eyes for a while, and where better to use them than a moon deer?)
@IngieBee he's actually local, I chatted with him about it in person yesterday (then per request sent off an email with the details so he'd remember them after a day of working the festival where he sells his work). Since the "galaxy" marbles tend to be one of his more popular options, he's going to make several so I can pick my two favorites, then put the rest out with his stock to sell off there. I did not notice the new boy body, off to look!
Oh, absolutely! I've got a few directions floating around I want to go in with him, and I think once I get the eyes and wig settled, I'll finally be able to pin down the rest. (Also getting his hands would be nice...)
Hey guess what? He's got eyes! It's really tough to capture how cool they actually look in person; the galaxy marbles have both a depth and an iridescence to them that don't quite capture on the camera, but they look super cool. (There's a closeup here if anyone wants to see that, too.) I'm super happy with these, so now my next goal is to find a wig that compliments them well and also works with those horns (as you can see, this cotton candy monstrosity does not). (Oh, and if anyone likes the look, he had a great time making them and said he wouldn't mind making more if others want some. )
