Impldoll Waiting Room v3!

I bought some jointed hands for my impldoll ransom,I wonder how long it takes to ship because I ordered only the hands,no blushing.
{ did order through alice collections though because I needed other stuff as well}

 

Hello, I'm back! I ordered an Azalea in Special Tan, large bust, Idol Muscle body through BJDivas 10-month layaway but I'll definitely be paying it off sooner than that.

 

Impldoll does not ship to the dealer - they ship directly to the customer, so it massively reduces wait times.
Before the new Star body came out, I would tell you 2 months or less, but that new body appears to have generated a lot of interest. A buddy and I both ordered the body as soon as it was available. We both ordered blanks directly from Impldoll, and that's usually a 2-month wait at most. We're now on month 3, but we figure they weren't quite expecting the response they got (giggles). But really, when you post photos like this, all the shiny keys collectors (me - I am shiny keys collector) are gonna want one.
I think that's Carlee for the head sculpt, by the way.

 

Good to know that it increased the wait time! I’m planning to order a custom colour new body soonish!

 

So exactly a month to the day I was notified Aurora was shipped, I just learned Imara is shipping!
Poor Aurora. I took off her head so I could give her a face-up, and I figured I'd just pop a floating head on the body. I ended up using my Supia Rosy, who I ordered with the Supia 65 cm body (which had a thick trunk of a neck).
Rosy looks amazing. It's Rosy's body now, lol.

 

I haven't gotten a shipping notice yet unfortunately, I wanna see the new girlie and get her shipped out...

 

So I also may have gotten Mila too with a face-up bc I haven't found an Impldoll face-up I like as well as hers.

 

Heh. I emailed them and asked if they'd already shipped Imara. I said if they hadn't, could they please hold my order, and I'll grab a Mila head, too?
Imara had already shipped. That's fine. One less head to purchase.

 

Imara is here, and wow. All of the complaints I had about Impldoll posing (especially the knee peanut joints) have been fixed. Fabulous (and much-needed) update.
I have to blush this body before I post photos. You just can't see all the gorgeous detail while it's blank.
I am so looking forward to the 68 cm body with shoulder joints now...

Me neither! But I chose face up and did layaway, though I paid the layaway off in July. So I hope she will be coming... soonish. Although I'm still waiting for my clothing order, so it's probably better this way, haha.

 

I just paid my layaway off Friday. Hoping I get a shipping notification soon. Course then I gotta set up an appointment with my faceup artist and send the head to the other side of the country lol.

 

I got told my Imara should ship on Monday so yippee for me this was a good experiment for me to determine if I prefer the dealer experience vs direct, and I may actually prefer Alice in this case just personally.

 

I got my shipping notice the other day. I have been extremely happy with working with Impldoll direct this time around. We did the whole thing via Facebook messenger. They got someone who is pretty good with English responding to Facebook messages. They even sent me a PayPal invoice I could just pay whenever I wanted. I have a bad feeling this could lead to more doll purchases lol. They've stepped it up since the last time I ordered from them...but that was over 10 years ago.

 

Oh yeah they're really nice and I would recommend them to anyone, and I'm really glad you liked them too. I also wanted to clarify I definitely didn't mean it in a negative way, I more meant it as an observation. They most definitely have a strong grip on my wallet

I keep forgetting to post here but I ordered a Imara with faceup on september 8th from alice's collections. I'm so excited! all her clothes and accessories are here already. she's going to be my fae witch character Laelette.

 

Ooh cool my blank Imara shipped and is chilling in New York for now, my hope and prayer is that she gets to me on Halloween because that's her character's birthday but I won't protest if she gets to me on time.

Not at all, I'd say around 4 months direct which is pretty much the same as ordering from Alice Collections. Since you mentioned getting a face-up I wouldn't be surprised if it's more of a 5 month wait for you.

 

just got a response back from alice collections they said it will take another 2-3 months to make the jointed hands
I don't know what to do here: should I wait(impatiently ) or should I email impldoll myself?

 

I think it would be smart to wait tbh you don't know your order number with Impldoll and the way I see it is the more emails I send that means less time for them to work on my order. You can set a reminder to check in two months if that makes you feel better. Waiting does suck though so I feel you on that.

I'm just a bit bumped out since I already waited almost 2 months but o well that's normal in the bjd hobby,thanks for understanding though.
And good idea to set a reminder that actually helps me a lot!

 

I ordered a Mona with a faceup and it took about 6 months. So it might take a bit!

 

I would just like to say I want a lot more of the new model body it's gorgeous af

 

I asked alice collections about the rest of my order(clothes,shoes wig etc) and alice said they will send The entire order together.
Which is a bit confusing because I thought impldoll ships directly to the customer?

 

Not necessarily for dealer orders, when I ordered through Alice she ships everything to you and Impldoll just ships to her. Since she's a Chinese dealer shipping to her is super cheap for Impldoll, which is why she can make shipping free Hope that helps a little bit

Um, lol, Imara arrived today without warning!
I didn't receive an email with a tracking link and suddenly had a notification in my mailbox saying she was waiting at the post office. I checked the tracking code online and apparently they send her off on September 30th!! And she was apparently stuck at customs for a moment?? (The communication with Impldoll was otherwise absolutely great, so I'm not complaining!)
But she arrived safe and sound, with the face up and looks absolutely gorgeous.

 

Gosh I just keep finding clothes and accessories i want for my imara. Ordered more cool things so at least i have time to shop around and for stuff to get here before her i hate waiting though. Looks like she won't be here until around January.

 

I just made my fourth layaway payment the other day and this morning I got an email from BJDivas saying they've received Azalea! I mean, I GUESS I could pay her off now but I literally have nothing for her yet . Usually I do pay them off once they've arrived but this time I'm actually kinda tempted to wait a little bit. I really hate having dolls arrive and then sit around naked!

 

I’m back I ordered a Mila head for a body I have spare. I was hesitating between her and Imara but Mila was perfect for the character I had in mind. I ordered her from AC so I added a wig and a few other things for her too. Really loving Impldoll’s new sculpts!

 

Currently waiting on my Eudora. Ordered her is August and was told she would take two more months when I emailed AC in December. Hoping to get a shipping notification sometime late January-mid February.

 

I actually emailed Impldoll about my Mila with a faceup and they said that should ship end of January. I should...politely inquire about my dreaming Tabitha that's supposed to go on the body too now that I mention it.

 

I just ordered a brown skin blank Garza from Alice's December 20th. I'll keep you all updated and we'll see when he arrives! Been looking at this guy for a while now , I'm kind of liking the look of their 70 cm boys. (Also Lanny!)

I just ordered the new msd Plump body
Can't wait to have it!!
I wanted to make a hydrid with the Dim Flowne head I have, they suggested pink skin, I hope it'll be ok!
They gifted me a lot of extras: the new Susu head, extra hands, heel feet and ballet feet so happy

 

I, too, went for the new plump body. A whole doll with extras for the price of the body is a pretty good deal and the body looks great. Will be interesting to see how it compares to the Ye Mao Zi body, the shape at first glance is pretty similar. I'm not totally sold on the Susu sculpt, but I think I can make it work. I have twin outfits for her and Moon Ying in the event that they go well together.

 

I ordered a John head with a faceup last night. I guess i should prepare for a long wait haha

 

@Moira_VonHelson Yessssss I love John so much and would love to see him when he gets to you! Mine was the second head I ever bought and modded (poorly) but I love him.

 

From the looks of this thread though, its gonna be one heck of a wait. Last time i ordered a brand new doll from impldoll it was on layaway and didn't take too long, but that was years ago.

I'm so excited but I know she will take forever to get here T-T

They said probably wont ship put until April or May.

I woke up to a surprise shipping notification from Alice’s that my Mila head shipped along with a few other items I ordered… I ordered her back on January 9th so a little under a months waiting was expecting it to be longer tbh… dunno how long the shipping time will be but it shouldn’t be TOO long~

 

Huh I was under the impression production would be slowed down by lunar new year for them, I should ask to see if lunar new year will slow down my Mila from coming home...

 

For sure, I intend on making a whole thread for her unboxing
Maybe a YouTube video too, not sure yet.

After chilling for 4 days in customs my Mila head arrived to me out of the blue this morning She is even prettier in person and I can’t wait to get her painted!

 

Seeing Milas pop up I'm even more anxious to get mine lol

 

Hi peeps! I just wanted to update you all. I ordered a brown skinned Garza December 20 and he arrived today and he's blank. So it's looking like a blank whole doll may be right around 2 months, depending on which doll. etc. I ordered from Alice's Collections and they said since it was Chinese New Year, the tracking number could be slower but he arrived before I got an email. I wish everyone else good luck on your orders. I also saw this sculpt has been discontinued right after but I was told I may have gotten the very last one that was made. I named him Malachi . They also shipped him totally whole this time! I had ordered a body in January of last year for a 72 cm doll and they had him partially strung to save on shipping, so his legs were separate but this guy came to me whole again.

 

@Christina_Xx Congrats on your Garza!! He looks so handsome! I regret not ordering him when he was available.


I emailed Impl about my head order from November, and they said he'd be shipped in the next month. Fingers crossed!

 

Thank you so much ! He’s about to get some thick textured hair. I knew I liked this sculpt and wanted him but didn’t know about the discontinuation until a few days ago. I hope your head comes next month and I would love to see some photos !

Been waiting since August for my Eudora, kinda wondering if my order got lost in the fray lol.I emailed Alice's Collection inquiring about it, and they said, "20 more days" so hopefully soon.

 

My Nicolas head shipped! I have no idea what body I'll get for him, but at least he'll be home! Maybe when Impl releases the new male body he'll get one. (As I ignore my Ransom head still chilling in his box. )

 

@Christina_Xx Congrats on getting Garza! I think I’ve only ever seen one other owner pic of him! So he’s definitely a rarity!!

@Thymeseer Hope your Nicholas arrives safely soon!

I will always regret not ordering a Nicholas before he was discontinued so suddenly…

 

I have also noticed that sometimes different websites or dealers sell dolls that the main website doesn’t. Have you tried hunting around Alice’s or Legend Doll? Or was Nicholas just completely discontinued? And thanks for the Garza congrats !!!!

 

@Christina_Xx Yes I had noticed that with a few sculpts not only from Impl but with a couple other companies too! I was interested since I saw a while back Impldoll Jerry (and Aurora seemingly) is still listed as available on both Legend Doll’s site and Impls website - I know Jerry was limited a while back but it might be worth a shot.

 

Here's here and so wonderful. I love this face! I got to figure out who he is and a body. He's in cream white.
The COA has changed again as well. It's on heavy card, not the credit card type I've had in the past, or the big plastic square.
