mine has been "in transit" since Tuesday, but it does make me feel a ton better that my experience isn't out of the norm for this shipper and that others have gotten their stuff after similar weirdness! here's hoping you have a doll arrival tomorrow, @Brytewolf!

Yanno, I don't know why I didn't think to mention this but, have either of you checked the SF International (SF International) website? It usually has a bit more detailed info~ That, or even the SF Express site, but the International one is a teeny bit easier to navigate at times.

Also, if I'm reading mine correctly..... mine might actually be in my city?? =spazzes= He was originally in Georgia, so this is highly probable! He's almost here!! Guess I'll find out tomorrow.

@thedarkeststar13 I did get him yesterday!!! He is glorious and I love him, even tho I was terrified opening the box. He's the 72cm idol, so to save on shipping they had him partially disassembled. He's the first BJD I've ever handled, much less owned.

my Crystal head arrived today, so it seems like the SF International shipping is reliable in the end even if the tracking looks kind of crazy while in transit. she's so cute!

 

Oh no, poor girl XD he's a little tipsy standing up, but I'm not sure if that's me or him. He seems tightly strung (with the effort I had to go through to get the second leg on lol), he just wants to tip forward.

I am very happy you got your girl!!! She's gorgeous 8D I love those mouths that are slightly open *chef's kiss*

Oh, also (I'm assuming because it took so long to get him to me), they included a free extra pair of eyes and... A free head! I have no idea what his sculpt is, or if I'm going to be keeping him, but he's very handsome and I'm grateful they included him!

 

SFExpress isn't really...express, in my experience anyway. I'd much rather use DHL from China, even though it's expensive. But, also get packages in 3 days at most, usually. Last SFExpress package (from Impl) took 6 days once it arrived in the US, which also isn't bad. But, the tracking was available on July 10th, then didn't update at all until it arrived in California on July 21st. I didn't even get a shipping notice for that package, or the one before it. Only knew it was on the way cause I'm signed up for USPS Informed Delivery. The return address was also in New York, even though the tracking never showed it having been in NY. SFExpress is weird lol

It's great to see so many arrivals happening, though! And faster than Impl has been. We've gotten almost all of our large order, though not without some issues, sadly. But, Impl is amazing and fixing things how they can.
Though, we had to assemble every large doll with extra elastic because they all came without long enough elastic to string them (or maybe we're just weak lol). Which, I guess worked out since I don't like using one piece of elastic for both legs.

They also sent some gifts. A Baby body with hooves in Tan, 3 Baby size outfits (Evan, Gela, Cyril), 1 Star Male size outfit (Jerry's), 1 Idol Male size outfit (Claude's, but it doesn't have the decorative buttons or beaded trim down the front), 4 pairs of hair clips, 6 pairs of glass eyes, 2 pairs of acrylic eyes, and magic eraser with each doll (except Teno). The girls also came with heel feet (as we requested, though weren't charged extra for) and extra hands.

Impl is going to send Teno's missing hooves and hand, as well as a Brown Star body since Dabria's has random muscle parts. They also let me pick a free head to go with it, since they couldn't ask me to send back Dabria's head to fix the gloss (mostly due to weather, it seems). I chose Davina, despite not finding owner pics. I liked her blank photos a lot, though. I also went ahead and purchased a Tan Giden head to go with the Baby body they sent (didn't want to try matching a head to that color lol).

So, still not done waiting for everything and now there's new things to wait for. I need to decide how to update the waiting list, since everything didn't arrive the same day (8 of them did, though. all big ones, too. our poor mailman lol).

 

I got my Elise today, the exact predicted day I was given when she shipped out! Fedex did well in Finland.
She came with the wrong body though... I got the shoulder jointed version of the Fashion Doll body instead of the regular version. Also the sanding on her hands is ROUGH.
Still, very happy with the sculpt! No complaints on that end.

Also! I got my Plaice head just now, it's nice. I asked for a sample of the brown resin too cuz I wanted to see how it looked irl and they gave me a whole head! Woah!



I'm not sure what sculpt he even is, they didn't send any paperwork.

 

Plaice is lovely!! I adore how delicate her ears are 8D

And I also didn't get a COA or anything for my extra head. I have the sculpt narrowed down to two options (mostly because he has a very obvious chin cleft, which makes it easier lol). That brown resin is a very nice color!

 

Yeah I think when I have the funds again i'll get another 70cm body in brown instead of the tan I had ordered. It'll be a lot easier to match the Dollclans head to.

I think it might possibly be Claude, but I can't find a blank face picture of him.

Ooooooo you'll definitely have to post pictures of it when it comes in! I'm not usually drawn to the darker colors, but that brown is *MWAH*

If I'm not able to narrow mine down further, I'll probably post in photo reference for someone with more experience to help me out lol. It doesn't help that I'm somewhat face blind <.<

I noticed you said cleft chin, if it's Tony then I'll be able to tell since I have a Tony head floating around.

I posted mine in the discussion thread to see if anyone knows. Nothing yet.

 

Tony is one of the two I can't tell between xD I'll take a picture of the head tonight and post it, if you can help me out that'd be great!

Looks a bit smooth to be Tony, he's a little more angular. I think its Acron if that was your other guess. He seems to have the softer face.

Update. They said for special reasons, my doll is being made now and might be home by the end of next month.

I'm so impatient lol. I ordered in early May and asked last month when I could expect my dolly. Their response on August 8ish was that she would be shipped within the month.

Well, here we are almost out of September, and she still hasn't shipped. I'm so impatient (even if I don't have any clothes for her or anything yet).

 

Two dolls from our order shipped without notice. If you're in the US, I suggest being signed up for USPS Informed Delivery (if you're not), cause that's the only reason I knew they were on the way. Impl uses SF Express, which is kinda slow in my opinion, so it's possible she's shipped without notice and just hasn't arrived yet. c:

 

Just logged into informed delivery and saw a SF Express tracking number. Figure it's Impl, no email from them, but they're the only ones I'm waiting on stuff from that uses SF Express. I'll update when it arrives XD

 

They also didn't tell me when my boy shipped (back in July), so checking is a good idea. I asked them for an update, and the update happened to be "oh yeah, he shipped a few days ago". Only after I asked for tracking info did they send the default "your doll had shipped" email.

 

Mystery package arrived yesterday and it was the replacement Star body, Davina head, and Giden head. Though, I was dumb and had forgotten to specify which Giden head I wanted. I assumed the one with droopy ears was the default, since it's in all the photos (except one to show the different heads), but ended up with the human one. Oh, well. At least I no longer have a floating body that doesn't match anything lol. Think I'll get him some horns or something later to go with his little hooves.
The missing Teno parts weren't in there, so I asked and Impl said they'd be shipped at a later date.I imagine they're probably tired of hearing from me lmao

 

Just noticed this. I do have informed delivery! Would she be arriving via USPS? I'm used to seeing them arrive via Fed Ex or EMS.

 

All of our SF Express packages have come through USPS (same with Yanwen, which Clover Singing usually uses). So, I'd definitely keep an eye on informed delivery, just in case. c:

 

I ordered August 17th through Acbjd. My friend ordered hers a few days after me and she got hers in the mail a few days ago! She was blank and I got mine with a face up and a bunch of clothes. So I figured I would ask Acbjd about my order and they said my package has been shipped already! They said tracking will be available by Thursday and to keep a look out for the tracking email. I'm so excited! This is my first female doll ever!
Plus this is such a fast wait time. Its been what? 2 months and a week? Crazy!

 

My Mona finally came in! She just arrived out of the blue one day on my doorstep. It took nearly 6 months but she's finally home.

 

I ordered Eudora blank head via e-mail on August 26th, and I got the tracking number today! It took a bit longer than they've informed me at first(45-60 days) but I'm excited to finally get her!

 

Hello! I do have more updates from Impldoll. Is it alright if I ask you which sculpt you ordered? I ordered the Vicky but they said they had to make a new sculpt for some of their dolls and that sculpt mold had to get shipped from somewhere else , so they were waiting for them. I actually changed mine to a sculpt mold they had in stock since we were having so many problems with the older one. They said with a lot of the 56/58 cm older girls, it could be a delay. They had said they expected mine in July, August, September and October but they still were not ready but I’ll keep this updated for when she comes. I had also heard some later dolls may have free gifts with them, so let’s see about that. I hope you get some good news soon! Best wishes.

Awwww, when I saw you posted, I was hoping Vicky had come. So sorry you had to switch from the sculpt you wanted-I hope your current choice pleases you.

 

It's been over a year since I ordered Lydia through BJDivas, and in a few weeks, it will be a year since I've paid off the layaway in full.
I emailed the dealer and asked for a quote to ship the doll directly from the company to me. I also cancelled two orders from July 2021 (Charm doll blank MSD body) and September 2021 (Miracle doll blank head).
Sigh.

 

Got her yesterday!

 

Just ordered a 64 cm girl body for an artist head I have coming in! Thank goodness for Impldoll's color matching, saved me a lot of trouble trying to track down the perfect combo of resin and proportions in the secondhand market.

 

I made the final payment on a Mona with the Star body last week! I'm very excited to get her, even if it's not going to be before a while. Now I have to stop myself from buying her more clothes, at least until she arrives :' )

 

I caved and bought my Sicily on the MGB body tonight because it's what she deserves and I needed to get a goth to balance out my soft girl that's on her way plus two outfits and eyes.

 

Yessss congrats!! I got a couple heads in their sale last week and at least one of them is going to eventually go on the mgb

 

My Eudora (Real Skin) arrived ! I contacted Impl to get some news a few days ago and they'd already sent it.
Here he is on the body I had for him (2DDoll 68cm, Normal Yellow), naked + clothed.

Updates ! I had ordered my Vicky in January but they were having problems with her sculpt and getting the mold to re-make her so I switched to T’delia and I have a tracking number. I was also offered a free head of choice for the 11 month wait, so I have a Tank coming as well.

 

Well - I DM'd Impldoll on Instagram, and I paid them to ship the doll directly to me. They said that they were still working on the make-up. Woof.
Hopefully, I'll get a shipping notification soon!

Hmm have outfits from Impldoll added a lot of time in your experience? I want to give myself a date to email and ask Alice Collections about as that's my strategy to not go too nuts from waiting. I do know I added some other goodies from Alice that will make it take longer than Impldoll takes, but I figure since it's clothes it may work out fine.

 

This order is my only experience with them so far, but I got the doll with faceup + the full outfit, a pair of shoes not by Impldoll and AC's doll stand . She was ordered on October 14 and I got a mail saying she was ready to be shipped on December 10, if that's any help to you.

 

I just received my Sewall head from the early bird Halloween discount. I ordered him blank on 10/25, received less than two months later. Pretty awesome! I don't get to see him until Christmas though.

Well. This was a wild ride. I talked about my experience ordering Impldoll Lydia through a dealer here. Long story short, I placed the order with the dealer on October 6, 2021 and paid my layaway in full on November 24, 2021. By the time Impldoll received my order from the dealer on July 12, 2022, the outfit I ordered was sold out. And apparently, a few other things have changed, too.

I got my pink skin Sewall event head and man he’s PINK. But really really cool so I’m quite pleased with my purchase!

 

I have returned! Paid off a layaway for a blank Darlene with the MGB body yesterday. Her wig arrived, too, it’s a deep side part in black and various shades of pink and blue. I’m excited to look for all kinds of cute Goth outfits for her.

Thanks! I got some cute things for her already, from DDE, some studded platform boots with bows, a long shirt with a skull that also has a bow, some stockings and studded/spiked wristbands. It all reminds me of the popular alternative/goth aesthetic from when I joined the hobby in 2008, so shopping for her has been nostalgic and fun.

 

I ordered a Ransom Head during the recent sale, and I just got the shipping notice. It only took a tad longer than a month! I don't even have his body chosen yet hahaha.

Edit: he was actually shipped on the second, and he's already in the USA.
