IMPL dolls Star, Model and Idol Discussion thread 14

Sep 24, 2019

    1. @Iron_Dog That would be great - I'd love a link to your story about how they met!

@A Wee Tiefling Meeks dolls are amazing indeed, but I am desperately clinging to the mouth of the rabbit hole and trying to avoid falling any further (I am spoiling my single SD enough already, I am going to have to ban myself from the internet to avoid seeing anything else that he "needs"). Agreed that the shelling character rabbit hole is bottomless...plus SPACE. I'd have to shell them all as tinies (which would be hilarious but um also quite expensive).

    2. Ark was the first realistically sculpted doll I had ever seen, and he remains in my memory forever. I wasn't buying big dolls when he came out, but I think it was inevitable that I would eventually get the biggest most mature/natural dolls because I've always been attracted to realism in general. I love abstract art but when someone oil paints something that looks like a photograph, I'm floored. I suppose it would be considered craftsmanship over art, but I do love craftsmanship!!! And it's easier for me. When I see some dolls here that have such style , I'm equally floored, but it took imagination to make these dolls, and I lack that unfortunately. So I suppose that's why my dolls.... I just go for realism :P

    3. I tend to gravitate towards the more realistic sculpts too (it's pretty obvious with the contents of my doll profiles), but I do have several that are more stylized than others. I'm quite a minority in the local BJD community that way (and my poor Granado hybrid often gets overshadowed by Adhara, the undisputed queen of the crew), but we all enjoy this hobby in different ways. :3nodding:

I mentioned several posts back that Adhara's fire wig was already at its third attempt, because OC me couldn't simply let go of the earlier versions' flaws. It was made on the Fantasia Doll Vivian version of her character, but apparently, even her Iplehouse Scarlet version could wear it and rock it. I guess it's the eyes; it wasn't too obvious she had golden flecks on the irises until the fiery colors made them pop.

    4. Ooo, what a fantastic wig! :D

    5. I agree, and I absolutely am in love with so many other people's dolls, but could never have conceptualized them. I hope I didn't come across wrongly again :doh I was just analyzing myself, why I can't do something more creative. So many dolls on DoA or online, are far from realistic, but are my absolute favorites anywhere! But even if I employed an artist I couldn't tell them what to do, and if they did something wild, it might not be something I like, so I never ordered such a thing. And for something unusual, I'd like for it to have come out of me, and not someone else, but... it's a catch22 LOL :D

So yah, I love the wild and wonderful, it just doen't seem to grow out of me :(

But, I did buy a huge container of W&N brush cleaner and 4 cans of varnish, LOL, so I plan on doing some re-dos of my dolls. I'm going to at least try some texturing and goth and maybe fairy stuff???

      • x 2
    6. Oh man, that is such a mood... I have been gravitating towards the more realistic end of the spectrum, though I also love the more creative creations too! I am getting Kaya, my Azalea, a new body, from DF-H. I love her, but the SGB body is not the right fit for her character-wise. She needs to be far more flexible, and not quite as voluptuous. The head is staying as is of course, here's to hoping her clothes will still fit, and if not, I will make them fit!

I am my own faceup artist, so I periodically redo my own dolls. Some stick with the same faceup for years, others get redone more frequently until I am happy with them. I am not taking Kaya out of the setup yet, as I won't take her off her current body until the new one arrives. I do not like when my dolls that need new bodies are floating heads...

    7. Way late on the reply but I was gaming yesterday and we didn't stop until 9pm (we started at 11am). So, link for my free works is here: ID_Locke - Works | Archive of Our Own . Pretty much everything is NSFW and pay attention to to tags because some content may not be for everybody. As cruel as I am, they do have things work out in the end. Pretty much everything can be read as stand alone pieces but some stories do intertwine because I can't help myself.

Sheathing The Sword is Mkhai/Kathiel (Impl Miguel the Demon Hunter & Unidoll Ark). Mkhai is the God of Warfare & Weaponry, Supreme Commander of the Immortal Army. Kathiel is a Necromancer in the Immortal Army. They are part of my Divine Worship World.

I have not posted Wish Fulfillment with Kulfi (Impl Ziv), Rhyia (Soom Euclase) & Akusuo (Dollshe Hound) yet as I'm not finished writing it. I've not finished Triptych Heart either which is Malachite (impl Ziv), Qayin (BiDoll CS) & Ji-Sun (SD Juhl). I do have a story, Crystallization Enrichment, featuring Malachite as a child (Impl Simon Colourful Life) but haven't posted that to the Ao3 site yet although it is on my author journal. And because I apparently love screwing with this family in particular, Vengeful Malice Aforethought is Kheima (SD Souloid Phiel head on DV 3-arm boy body) and Ravir (Batchix Dark Elf) where Kheima is the son of Qayin and adopted son of Malachite and Ji-Sun. Ravir is the God of Vengeance & Justice. Fun note! You also get to see Kheima, Malachite, Ji-Sun, Mkhai, Kathiel and a slew of other characters from other stories in Wish Fulfilment.

Mkhai has a twin brother, Rai-Sui (SD Vito Azreal skull head) that you meet briefly in Sheathing The Sword. How he meets his husband, Wisp (Iple Creaa-J Lev) is Soul Purpose and that is posted to Ao3.

I will try to get some pics taken today of Mkhai and Kathiel. Lighting is going to be dodgy as it's all sulky and overcast today.

    8. @IzabethS Ugh, I HATE floating heads, and I have a BUNCH! 4, soon to be 5, are sleep heads, which i don't mind, but another 5 need bodies. I hate it when that happens :(

I can not even DREAM of having an imagination like @Iron_Dog LOL. I did marry a writer, and when we were dating, he did try to get me to write, said it was so easy LOL. No it's not. Alas, I'm going to work on aesthetically NOT natural, at least makeup and something fun.

    9. @IngieBee I tell people that everybody can write. Not everybody can tell a story well and it's not an easy thing to learn if it's not a skill/talent you possess. You can learn to be a good story-teller, but it takes a lot of hard work.

If you ask me if I find it easy to write the stories I do, then my answer is yes. But, I also live in my head, hearing or watching (as it were) the stories that want to be told. Honestly it probably walks a fine line of a imaginative and delusional on some days. I know the characters in my head are not real but they have a "realness" to me because as I've created them and it's sort of like watching a child grow and mature. I know so much about them but they still manage to surprise me with quirks that I usually don't discover until I'm writing them. Or sometimes in the case of the shelled ones, their doll-self informs me. Like...

Khale (Leeke Khal vampire) and Moswen (AoD Chi) both very strongly dislike the colour red on themselves. They will both become the Incredible Wet Noodle Doll (tm) when dressed in red. Khale won't even sit up while dressed in red. Khale prefers white, black and pastels and has a particular fondness for orange. Moswen will do anything if dressed in purple or dark blue. He fights like a dirty bastard if I try to put him in red.

Liroshan (Granado Lucifer 53) utterly refuses to wear a shirt or shoes. I can get him into a shirt but it's a struggle of epic scale and shoes seem to just fall off his feet if they're slip-ons and he refuses to stand if they lace/zip up. Wu-Tyr (Dollshe Orijean) will only wear slutty clothes. Anything else and he looks entirely put upon and like he'll murder you in your sleep for trying to cover his gorgeousness. Aischylos (RS Yao boy) will look incredibly uncomfortable and unhappy if he's not wearing underwear (absolutely none of my other guys do), long sleeve shirts and pants. And a hoodie if he can get away with that, too. Darius (RS Pixiu) doesn't wear clothes. Period.

Haniel (Cherish Doll Chubby Demon/FL Ruth) is a ton of fun because he MUST be dressed in the most god-awful combinations of colours/patterns/fabrics. He is my fashion disaster. He wears whatever he likes regardless of whether it should go together or not (most often not). Oddly, it takes more effort than you'd think to dress a doll very badly. At one point he was rocking brown plaid pants with lime green sneakers and a 2-tone blue bowling shirt topped with a purple witches hat (he's got a thing for hats). He's also got baby pink hair just to draw all the hideousness together.

    10. I'd rather write a scientific paper. I can do technical. Imagination ... involving other human thoughts that are not my own point of view is much harder, LOL. Makes me sound just awful! I hope I'm not that awful.

LOL,@Iron_Dog , I think you vacuumed up all my imagination when we were born! LOL What opposites we are, you're just too fun!

      • x 2
    11. @Iron_Dog Thank you for the link to your writing! Your descriptions of your dolls and their clothing is already quite hilarious. I'm sure I will enjoy reading your works!

@IngieBee Hey, nothing wrong with us relatively unimaginative, practical-minded* people. ;)

*Practical except when it comes to splurging on dolls/doll-stuff.

    12. @Rakonto I hope you enjoy the stories. Feel free to ask questions, too.

    13. @Iron_Dog Will do! Not sure if I'll have time to dig into reading tonight, but it's something to look forward to! :D

    14. @Rakonto the never enough time beast is familiar to me so I get where you're coming from completely.

    15. For me, it's "never enough energy!" Ugh! LOL.

I finally got good news. My order is being sent directly from Impldoll it seems. The posted it from Shanghai and now I wonder if it will include my clothes?? I should get a DFA Susu head with it as well. My Leona head will not be included though. That will come later I guess. They're using Federal Express?!?!?! This surprises me! Anyway, Plaice will finally have his body! Yaaay!

      • x 5
    16. That's great to know your order is finally on the way, @IngieBee ! It's been too long; at least one of your ordered items is already assured to be on its way. That's surprising about them using FedEx too, hopefully it will not have any hiccups!

    17. Fedex and DHL are my favorites for international shipping in theses times! Both are reliable and fast!

    18. @Iron_Dog Whoa boy, your doll-clothes battles remind me of my battles with Dante. He's all "MORE NEON" and I'm like "PAY ME". Trawling through Alice's Collections is an exercise in "Is this neon enough for you? How about the depressing lack of zippers? Not enough studs?"

@IzabethS What will you do with the MGB body? I've been curious about it because while I do love the muscle body for Kitten, I am struggling to find clothes that are both voluptuous and will not make the muscles look weird.

@AntarelNefertili Adhara is always a delight but that wig is incredible. It looks so tactile I bet it feels lovely.
      --
Heh, fellow writer here, in my sad cold garret. The minute I got Dante put together I realized how much I miss writing him. He's unrelentingly good fun. Sits on my desk being a twerp, judging me because I didn't finish a chapter.

    19. @A Wee Tiefling "He's all "MORE NEON" and I'm like "PAY ME" ROFL

Yah, I'm happy. The two packages are somehow connected because when I looked up one, the other shows up too, which is so weird! Impl sent the body directly from Shanghai and Alice sent their stuff from Hong Kong. I wonder how that works?! But it's cool so it's easy to track both packages at once :)

Thank you for the good wishes, @AntarelNefertili and @nancy_schroeder_ca :thumbup

    20. @A Wee Tiefling Haniel enjoys neon, too. And glow-in-the-dark stuff. He's exuberant in his fashion choices. Almost had a bit of a fashion fight when I bought a SPO outfit for Akusuo and got it in orange, cream and grey and Khale saw it. Akusuo keeps it but only because he's a god and Khale is not and Khale knows when to back away from a fight.

    21. @IngieBee FedEx and DHL are both good with shipments with multiple boxes but I didn't know they could be shipped from different places! That is cool!

    22. @IngieBee I hope your doll gets to you quickly. I'm still waiting on my package from Russia via EMS and it was sent out 1 month ago today. It's currently sitting in Poland waiting to be put on a plane (and has been for 13 days now *sigh*).

I was just checking my email from Impl and on Sept. 9th they told me that they'd send out my re-made Ziv within 2 months. So hopefully they'll be sending him out within the next 2 weeks *fingers crossed*.

    23. Oh, I have the SGB body, not the MGB, with medium bust and old hands. Iโ€™m probably gonna sell it, but not til the new body arrives I think. It needs a cleaning for sure, and maybe a restringing too.

Iโ€™m looking forward to the new body, and Iโ€™m hopeful Kaya will work on it!

    24. [IMG]

Gwendal is an uptight prim and proper fancy pants, but I figured he'd need a break from his nice clothes every once in a while and wear something comfortable to lounge relax sleep a few hours. I've gotten him a couple of different wigs with a ponytail but nope, he is clinging to this one. Go figure. Also got him oval eyes, but they still gap. Hmm. Might have to try a bigger size in those wide, narrow sockets...

    25. Sometimes a doll simply wants what a doll wants.

      • x 1
    26. Yah, they all arrived today! Ugh, but Impldoll changed the color of their Real Skin again, and my Plaice head is the old version. The new version is so light and I can't change the darker Plaice that much lighter :( They sent him with a new head too, so the body is complete, and .... I like the new boy's head. Not sure who he is though??? Maybe one of you can tell me who he is? He has a scar on his forehead and cheek. The Alice's Collection custom suit fits perfectly! He looks so dapper in it. It was supposed to go to my Nick, but he is too happy in his comfy beatnik inspired outfit, so this fellow is wearing it, and rocking it. What i really liked about this suit is the mod vibes I get from it.

So I'm back to square one, no body for Plaice. I like this guy so I'm going to keep him but I have to find out if they will make Plaice a body in the old real skin. This whole order was/is a fiasco.

Alice sent me a ton of gifts, one is really welcomed because I have an incoming mnf head that I want to turn into a boy. They sent me a whole young doll boy. I'll have to sell or give away the head, as I am NOT going to make yet another doll! But Alice also sent me an Aurora head, she is beautifully painted and I can't let her go, so another doll, unplanned, and she's in THE OLD REAL SKIN!!! UGH! I've sent them an email to see if I can get two bodies in the old real skin, I hope so!

I am supposed to get a Leona head still, it is supposed to be in their brown skin. I have no idea what I'll get??? If she is unable to share my original Aurora's body, which they were going to share, then I don't know what I'm going to do!

My DFA Susu head came, so that went well and I got all the other clothing items I ordered, so that's good.

Plaice just doesn't have a body still, and I don't have any money :...(

I'm a bit sad, only one pair of eyes that they said they'd send are possibly usable in my clan. Maybe I can stick the fancy ones in some elves, I'll have to give it a go. My dolls are mostly human. I know I sound boring, but that's how I see them??!!!

    27. Oh dear, @IngieBee, what a fiasco indeed! :aeyepop: Your new boy is quite handsome, but poor Plaice. I really hope you can get the old real skin to finally complete your doll (now dolls...wow that's a lot of extras! which is nice but...also more decisions to make about what to keep/complete). Which young doll did they send (the one you are going to use the body for)?

      • x 1
    28. Oh gosh, that ain't the half of it :( I have 3 Rainman doll heads, 1 Supiadoll head and my Aurora, who I had made in a resin to match Supiadoll body. So ugh, I have to buy a TON of bodies still. Maybe I should try selling some dolls.... ugh, nope, I have no stomach for that!

Looks like my boy is War of Future Chasel. He really doesn't look like their pictures. He has a wider face, at least it looks wider to me. I love the way it sits on the FGB neck, I wouldn't have chosen him for myself, but that's what Impldoll's faceups do with their boys, or else it's their photography. If you get too close to the subject it distorts the face, and I think that's what happens, because this doll is gorgeous!

OMGosh, I've got to clean up this room!!!

    29. Sorry, in my own crazy afternoon, I didn't notice your picture! He certainly looks comfy there, and is so cute :) Which sculpt is he, I can't tell ? :D

Oh, and I might as well post that Aurora got new eyes, so she doesn't look like a black eyed kid from those creepy old pictures anymore, LOL.

    30. Oh my lord @IngieBee all that skin color fiasco has me worried about what RealSkin I'd end up with for my guy's jointed hands. He's on the lighter RS, but I'm not holding up much hope that the resin will even remotely match. Hopefully you'll be able to find a way to salvage that situation tho. :o *hugs*

    31. The thing is, I was always reminding them it's the old real skin, from when I got Plaice's head, but it still happened. I think the new real skin is the lighter one, so you shouldn't have to worry. They changed right when I ordered the body :( I just don't have the money to buy more bodies, and the floating heads are stacking up! At least I need more boys, and the new guy is a cutie, though he has a big scar on his face, LOL. Also, this changing of skin tones constantly makes me think I'll never be able to complete my dolls if I wait too long. And I have no money left. I suppose I should sell the new Aurora, as I have one already... and I'm waiting on Leona head still as well. Impldoll is killing me!

To be honest, I think they had this guy laying around, and so they sent him to me. They still haven't made my Leona head, and everything else came from Alice's collection, so two boxes from two different places.

    32. Wow @IngieBee I feel twitchy at the thought of needing to find a body for the 1 head I have (although it's still in transit *sigh*). I don't count Qayin although he is just a head at the moment because I will be getting him a custom colour body from RS. Oleander has a body but it's not the right aesthetic for him so I'd like to get him a new one but he does have a body so it's not pressing.

That has to be frustrating though to have waited for so long for your body only to have it not match at all. I think I'd sell the additional Aurora head since you hadn't planned on it and already have one. But I also have a very hard time letting go of resin so I'm probably lying about selling the extra head. I only did it once when I bought the body for Tohan (AoD Min) and he came with a head (Doll-Love, I think) I had no use for. I gave the head to my friend who had spotted the body for sale because she liked it. Otherwise it would probably still be sitting in a box in a drawer. Tohan's head sat in a box for 8 years before I got him a body so....

    33. He's Impldoll Isaac. And thank you so much! Glad you solved the mystery of your sculpt...and good luck with the mystery of all the incomplete parts that may or may not match. :sigh

    34. @IngieBee Oh no! That's disappointing. At this point, Impldoll should label their skintone versions so people can at least easily color-match...

    35. I agree Valor

I am still waiting on my Leona head, and it's supposed to be their Brown skin at the time, who knows what I'll get??? If it matches my Azalea (yah, I mis wrote Aurora, dingbat that I am) if she turns out to match my Azalea's brown body, which she was going to share, I may sell that Azalea head and keep the new "old RS" one. I guess I'm going to try to sell some heads, but I think it's not a good time for that. I doubt many people are buying in these times :(

    36. Can anyone help me? I can't tell which certificate of authenticity belongs with which doll? They never put any name or anything on their cards although the cards have a number. How do I check them please?

And, here is my Chasel with a faceup and the worst beard ever! LOL I'm calling him Moritz because he reminds me of Moritz Bleibtreu

    37. I just started a layaway on a Sicily in muscle body in brown! And have a reeeeeal hard time finding owner pics of impldolls in brown ?! Where are they all, I wanna seeeeee!

    38. @Antika I just took my Azalia outside for a couple of shots. Though it's late afternoon and the picture was taken in the shade, I still think she looks a wee bit washed out; She is much richer in color in person IMO, but monitors, you know... you never know!

Also, full body picture if you're interested, she has the MGB body, and is in Brown.

Especially on my computer monitor, she looks too pale. IMO she is a GORGEOUS tan. Her dress is a blush pink, if it's not blush pink, then maybe a color correction will fix the issue, but I don't want to do anything based on my own monitor.

    40. She looks gorgeous! I wanted to go for brown because I felt the tan would be a tad too orange for me, I think itโ€™ll work!! Thank you for sharing her.

    41. Aw, thank you @Rakonto , and @ Antika . I don't know what their tan is like today, but one of my boys... yah, took me some time to get used to his orangeness, LOL

    42. more along the Star size, I think. I already have Cristina in resin form (Dollmore Model Doll F), so he can't be taller than her, and whatever combination that'll give him the biggest thighs and butt - Orange is a very curvy boi

    43. @Girrl I'mma try some non-impl combos then, I have the old Star boy and a DF-A boy who look about right.

    45. Ohhhh no one has been around for several days. :o

I recently did a setup of Adhara and Guรณrรฉn playing the Legend of the Five Rings card game (watching on the side is the off-topic-for-this-subforum Okuni). It's actually like a metagame of sorts, because they're attired in their tabletop RPG versions of that same franchise. I'm really happy I've loosened their leg strings. Sure, they're prolly a bit noodle-y, but at least they know how to relax!

    48. Gwendal (my Impldoll Isaac) didn't stay my only large doll for very long. As I should have expected of myself, I bought another large doll off the Marketplace (SteamWitch's Bishonen House Ian) to hang out with him. (I have more than one variation of Gwendal's character aside from his D&D one, so right now I'm thinking the new guy is Gwendal's "boss" from one of those AUs - Prince Elouan Kyler-Porshay - as he looks just like my mental image of him, though we all know dolls have a bad habit of not always playing their assigned role. Gwendal is Elouan's secretary/assistant.)

I took a very bad phone picture of Gwendal handing his boss some paperwork to look over. (Please excuse the wonky cable cord that is always in the way that I can't move because it's the only way my super old apartment gets internet. I really need to figure out a better setup for photos, but mostly I'm just posting this in case anyone was curious how the big Bishonen House guys compared with Impldoll Star guys...err, specifically, the old body. The BH guy has VERY big, quite expressive hands. Gwendal is standing with the aid of a stand, while Elouan is sitting in a chair that is slightly too small for him.)

    49. @Girrl Two restrung dolls later I'm going to advise you to find a good modder or else ask IMPL if they can suggest the right parts for you. None of my 60cm guy chests fit over the massive hip/waist part of the muscle girl body. I'm also now stuck with a collection of muscle parts instead of Kitten and Hartley. So yeah, don't bother with this weird hybrid. You'll be sorry.

    50. Interesting, good to know! Thanks for trying it out

    51. I think the muscle hip is different from other hips, judging by the shape of the leg channels. She doesn't look the same as my non-impl hips. I didn't try sticking Tony's torso on her but I wonder if Impl will suggest that.

I hope you can see the album. I took underbust measurements of my male dolls, and they're all different.

    53. very, very helpful, thank you!
not that I'll be able to begin assembling Orange anytime soon :| I racked up 2K in vet bills in just under 2 weeks and have no living guinea pigs to show for it :(

    54. @Girrl Aww no! I just lost one of my senior piggies. Gentle thoughts.

    55. Elderly amazing Honeysuckle Wheeks 3 weeks ago yesterday :...( and then the teeny new baby piggie we brought home 11 days ago with some slight sniffles ended up in the ICU with pneumonia less than 24 hours after we got her and slipped away less than 24 hours after that. The vet was crying when she called to give me the worst news :...(
picture of slightly less elderly Honeysuckle with Lucie (maybe shared in this thread before?)

    56. @Girrl I remember your Honeysuckle Wheeks because I made a joke about loving her work! I'm so sorry to hear about the baby. Maybe you'll get lucky from a rescue. All my herd are rescues and they were in good health when I adopted.

As for the mod, I'm thinking you're best bet will be to approach Impl when you can and see if they have ideas.

    57. Oh, guinea pig sadness., so sorry, so sad :(

    58. @Girrl I'm so sorry to read about your guinea pigs. How awful :(

I came here with a question, I've probably asked before but now I have an Idol body in my possession, so it'll help me visualize. I have (what I think is) the first version of the Idol M body. He has the 3 part torso and the same knees and elbows as the old one. He is listed as being 72cm (I assume with head) but mine is right at 68cm.

Are either of the two newer versions the same height as the old one? Or are they actually 72cm?
68 is exactly what I need and I'm hoping a few mods will make it perfect, but I have real skin and I want NSP, so ideally, i need a new one. If the other versions are the same height, I'd rather go with one of those, but if they're taller I'll stick to the old version (if my mods work out)

Oops one more Q: where do you all buy clothes for these guys? He's a lot smaller than my EID so I don't see that working great, but bigger than most of my other dolls so I don't think I can just buy clothes any old place? The conundrum of dolls not-quite-EID sized...(I have three. Only one of them has clothes because they were made for him.)

    59. Ahhh, the odd sized doll that fits absolutely nothing. This is the story of my collection. All my Impl boys with the exception of the 2 tinies fall into this non-conforming space. While Mkhai is a pretty normal 64cm, all the horns & spikes that are part of his sculpt means that he can't wear anything off the rack and it must all be made to fit him. Kulfi and Malachite are 58cm so even 60cm pants are too long for them (and usually the waist is too big) and coats/shirts usually have sleeves that are too long as well.

Everybody else.... yeah, no. I have ID 51's, Raccoon 51cm boy, a Batchix 51cm boy, none of which are the same in basic body measurements despite being 51cm. SD Vitos (52cm), Granado 53cm, Iple FID (49.5cm) & Creaa-J (50cm) and an LE Doll/AoD collab (57cm). And those are just my off-standard SD boys.

Rhyia can't wear anything but skirts (which he rocks incredibly well) because he wears his Soom Euclase owl feet as his defaults and I'm not into taking off his feet just to get pants on him. Kathiel and Edenlei (Unidoll boys) have a lot of junk in their trunk and thick thighs making pants a challenge as well as oddly splayed fingers which makes some shirts a challenge. Yalaren and Ji-Sun (SD Doubles) have a lot of booty, too.

I have so many patterns that are all just a tiny bit different in order to accommodate all the body sizes/types I have. Obviously if I have more than one body from the same company I'm fine for clothes sharing but it's a pain at times when I go to dress someone in something and it won't go over their assets or if it does, they're almost swimming in the "extra" fabric.

    60. Thanks, it's been a dark and grim 3 weeks :( BUT we got Pepper Potts (we got a pair of babies and she's the survivor) a friend last Thursday and I can honestly say that I've never made anyone so happy before in my whole life as Pepper was to get a friend. She got hiccups, she was So Excited (LINK to cuteness overload)

Other more knowledgeable Impl peeps correct me if I'm wrong, but 68cm sounds closer to Star size than Idol - 4cm is quite a lot to be off by at doll scale (and I had the impression that the Idol dudes were a full 72cm)
