It seems we just checked too early when not everything was set up. Now when they have announced the sale, everything works fine.

 

I'm thinking about Eleison... IOS was the company that made me interested in BJDs, so I'd love to get something of theirs.

 

They answered me as well, and you can get the free shipping for layaway orders that you place before December ends.

the rapid ship i guess is if you pay in full, the date they ship out is faster, like 15 days for a head and 30 days for full doll/body.
now, who to get....

 

Does anyone know what matches their new white? I need to find another company hands for this dude. IOS has always made their hands in really specific (strange lol) poses, so I want hands that look like they're resting. Wondering about Dollstown white too

 

Do you have the 70 class body with the head on? I'd like to know what the total height (body + head) is.

I saw they opened orders and I am very close to hitting the button on a Han head + class 70 body IF they're what I need.

 

@xyzKitty - i just measured Sezz and he is 65.5cm with the head on, no wig or anything.

I may just order the Han head then, as the body will be too short. Thinking maybe Loongsoul's 68cm boy body in normal yellow might match IoS's normal.

 

Lacrimosa head is still the one I want to get, just don't know if the body I have here would be big enough for it.

 

I compared my new Sezz head to some white resin I have, but no definite match. Dollzone white (2020) is quite close, but more yellow. Maybe their peach would work better. Telesthesia white (2020) is a little bit more pinkish, but can be acceptable I guess. Luts white is even more pinkish than Telesthesia.

 

work's been crazy, but i'll try to do some pics, i have DZ/DC peach, plus some others like rosy-white Switch. but a lot of what i have in WS are either paper white, or the creamy/ivory white.

 

Hi, does anyone know if IOS NS and Telesthesia Dragon Doll yellow match? I'm trying to make a hybrid of IOS Sezz head with TD 68cm body

 

I got some pictures done, and I really need to get a light box together better colour accuracy, my apologies for the bad lighting. that background is actually a really light grey. sigh. Hopefully this will help a little anyway. the pics look so yellow, but in person, the IOS doll is a pink white, enough that I got out my NS Chaos to make sure I didn't somehow get Sezz in NS. *nope* The IOS NS is really similar to DZ old pink by the way. By the way, that Ringdoll hand is paper white.

In general, the 2020 IOS WS matches Switch rosy white spot on, and both are pearlescent.
Doll Chateau/DollZone peach is really close, but not as much pearl, and maybe just a smidge lighter in person.

The DC hands are smaller but not by much, you can decide what you think about that. The 2nd pic has them side by side. I couldn't find the box of Switch hands I bought with the heads, so if they surface I'll take a pic. They are the panthera hands, like little kitty fists, so I'm not sure if the scale will show as much.

The Doll Family-H WS was pinker than Doll Legend WS, but was lighter than the DC/DZ peach and the IOS WS.
Everything else light toned I have is either paper white, creamy white, or yellower toned white.

I was so surprised about the rosy white matching. I'll admit I'm a bit curious if the smaller 60cm line body would work better with Switch's heads. Plus I have a smaller peach DZ head meant for a 60... hmmm.

Out of curiosity, has anyone here noticed if there's a pattern to how IOS preorders go? I apparently just missed my shot at a head I've been eyeballing since the beginning of the month now that I actually have the funds for it.

 

they took some surveys last year, and they had a little calendar with release dates from time to time that they updated so now you can only see the December entry, but i've not seen anything for 2021 yet. i am sort of kicking myself for not getting Raul, but i just got in so deep with all the amazing stuff coming out all at once from different makers

last year though, i was looking for Tauros and asked in the Q&A and they told me to hang in there because they were about to release him again, which was super nice. so you might could try to ask about the one you want in the forum and see what they say.

Just sharing a photo of my Confutatis (and Saint ) cuz I realised this sculpt is severely underrated, the only posts I see of him are sales posts

 

I know this has probably been asked a lot but, I’m having a hard time finding clothes for my big 80cm guy.
He’s a demon character and has this Victorian/devil/fantasy and leather kinda vibe and I think what I’m lost looking for is pants that are long enough? And just anything really.

The best clothes I have for my 80 (81cm technically) boy have been custom tailored for his measurements. I've sort of come to terms with the fact that if I want him to have really sharp looking clothes they'll have to be made specifically for him. I didn't realize that until after I'd bought him and shelled my OC! :P

 

80cm body can use most 72cm's upper wears; unfortunately the trousers have to be custom made. ><
So most of the time I just commission for a custom made full-set.

I got my (first) IOS head! I picked up the Infernale in normal skin. Can't wait to get a faceup on him and get him a body. I'm eyeing the Resinsoul Yi one for him.

I just bought IOS Luce head in normal skin because I'm insane and saw Lyulf in his sculpt like WTF ever am I right?

I was just wondering if anyone knew of a good 65cm body for him? Site says he takes 9.5cm to 10cm neck and Akagi doll has a great 66cm with 10.3cm neck. Has anyone tried this? Or something similar with another 65cm body or different IOS sculpt?

I am new new to the hobby and have taken a liking to the Confutatis head. He was one of the first dolls I looked at and loved. I missed getting him for various reasons when he was available and now I'm sure I want him. I wanted to know how often IOS rerelease doll heads? I know he is new and the team is small, so if she does it probably won't be for a while yet, but is there a chance for a release and when might that be?

I think I did done goofed.

I bought 16mm eyes without checking measurements for Sezz because I suck. The official website says 14mm is best but DOA suggests 14-16mm. Anyone know if 16mm will work for Sezz? I am low key panicking. >.<

I told myself I'd never hybrid again after the disaster that is my only current hybrid but...here I am lol.

Do you think a IOS Class70 - New Sezz head would fit with a Loongsoul White Dragon body 73 cm?
Here's what I found for comparison:

- Loongsoul / White Dragon body / Neck size：11.5cm
Does the Sezz head still fit on the desired LS body?

I wonder when IoS will open sales on their animal/skull heads? I know their running a sale now but I finally have the cash to buy the Tauros head I've been putting off for years and now they rotate out what they sell so I'm in waiting mode.

Welp IoS put Taurus back up for sale and considering I have no idea when they'll retire that sculpt permanently (it doesn't seem to be one of their most popular) I went ahead and ordered it! $146 free shipping was to amazing a price to skip since I've been looking for the head ever since they released it and I've seen maybe 2 come up for sale second hand. My holy grail head is coming home

 

Is anyone else getting crow? I saw him on Instagram and had him order 5 minutes later

 

I also ordered him within minutes of seeing him on instagram.

 

I am contemplating ordering it too, I fell in love with him at first sight but with a lot of self-control I waited a bit to do some research, I am tempted to order the body because there is no appropriate resin match, some did you order the body as well or do you have already a body for him? And another question, what color did you ask for? This is my biggest insecurity, I don't know if I should go for the NS or WS, in some photos the NS looks good, and in others, it is very yellow, so I don't know if it affects the aesthetics of the teeth? but the contrast of the makeup, the NS skin color, and the wig is quite beautiful, at least it does a good contrast in the pictures. The white skin is a little worrisome because it tends to turn yellow right? but I have seen that it is not paper white but more like skin white (?), What are your thoughts?

While i'm trying to keep my SD collection small, I have to confess that I caved and bought a Crow head. (Honestly the free shipping swung it for me as that made it a lot more affordable). I bought in white and am planning to use it on my DF-H body. Last time I bought WS from IOS it was a pinky white and matched DF-H white so i'm hoping it hasn't changed. I had that other WS head knocking around for a few years and while it lost a little of it's pinkness, it didn't turn yellow. It was kept in a dark box so didn't get much sunlight exposure which may have helped

 

Oh thank you very much for telling me about your experience it comforts me more to know that the new white is a more colorful tone on the pink side rather than yellow, I was watching this IOS review of the gray(head) and WS(torso) skin tone from R.Dean and that tone looks quite nice, I think the WS is convincing me more than the NS

 

OMG why did I check out Instagram... but well, I think I would have seen it later anyway, the SEZZ Vampire ver looks great I love those kinds of sculpts with tongue and teeth showing, it almost made me regret not buying the normal head, so I'm not sure if I should take this one, but he's so beautiful, so tempting
