i'm in exactly the same dilemma. the limited sale definitely makes it a little more difficult to decide for me.

 

I think I will place the order on 31 May....last day of sales, haha.
One of my boys has been adopted to a new home recently, wanna a new boy to join...

 

Sadly, my attempted purchase of Jade was unsuccessful, as Octarine is closing down. Instead, I contacted IOS directly. She said that in July I can place an order for Jade. I will do exactly that. Regarding Octarine, I am really sad the way that went. But alas, I will work through ordering directly from the company.

 

oh! that's too bad, Octarine really helped me with a very special doll, i'm sad to hear, hope they are ok.
but i'm so glad you found out you can still get him!
i wonder if any other 80cm will be July... just take all my money IOS go ahead...

 

And so...the adventure begins. I just managed to snatch up a Jade head within Europe. I much prefer this, as now I can test which of my big boy 70 cm bodies might fit him.

If not, I can still put his enourmous noggin onto the body he is designed for. But I saw him on an Iple EID...and it looked good. So he might look equally as good on an Impldoll Idol...

Bad thing is that I purchased a business suit which was made for a slightly taller guy...but I could tolerate 2 or 3 cm tallers, max 5. But 10 cm is really quite a lot...I may have to a ton of research to find the perfect body for him.

Only wish IOS did company faceups. WIth a tad less beard, the faceup he is presented with would have been perfect. But oh well, one more head to train on...

 

i caved in and put Sezz on layaway. but i wanna know who those new boys are,,,,

 

I decided to give up on Sezz in the end. He is charming for sure, just for personal reason, I have to be careful about my doll family size at home.

and am waiting very curiously to see the new release coming

Does IoS restock their head sculpts? I'm still sad I missed Sezz... T T

 

they seem to be picking out certain ones to open the orders for each month or so. and they had a survey at one point to see what folks were interested in buying. i just keep checking the website and their news/notices. i think he will come back

kinda bummed though, the Jag head can be bought in blue-grey, but the body doesn't have it as an option...

they put the blue-grey in the body colour selection menu!

Does anyone know if this is the first time IOS has offered grey resin? I was trying to find any pictures, and i'm coming up empty handed, even with searching both "grey" and "gray".

I was going to order a head, when I get a email saying they will deactivate my account since I have not ordered from them in over 1 year, this is the second company to send me a email like this first was Luts, gee don't they know we are in a pandemic, and it did not help that I had unexpected gall bladder surgery ( still paying for that too). I can't get a break even if I work more days than I should....

 

Most sites have provisions for the account to be reactivated.

I’m so depressed. I ordered a head through BJDivas in February and I checked in August because it seemed like a long time and they told me IOS never started on the order and won’t be able to process until December. I wonder if I should just give up on Infernale.

 

Sorry to hear that, hoping they can get to your order soon. I am still waiting on a doll from BJDivas as well with a different company, everything seems to be moving at a snail's pace lately.

 

Don't give up, it seems that IOS are reworking the Infernale head (like they did with Sezz), they will officially offer him in December according to their schedule. I'm already waiting for December

 

i just saw the skeleton dog head concept photos with moving jaws, they look like resident evil dobermans
i wonder if they plan on the gunmetal colour or that's just the rendering program... i wanted Tauros, but... maybe i'll wait

is anyone getting soft brown or grey for their recent orders?

 

I’m not worried that it won’t come. Just upset that it will take so long since I ordered over six months ago and it was never done. I am a bit worried if they rework it too much I won’t like it also. That would be a shame lol.

this was just the head so i didn't do layaway. ordered 6/28 so just about 3.5 months, which seems very fast to me, since i have a lot of Doll Chateau, DollZone & Dream Valley which take forever.

 

Does IOS ever offer their clothing sets for sale again, or can you only order them once? (I’m kicking myself for not ordering Han’s outfit when it was available for preorder.) I know FairyTales produces all their clothes, but I‘m not sure if IOS had an exclusive license or something that would prevent FairyTales from selling the clothing sets they make for IOS dolls...

Hi, I've received my Confutatis some time ago and it's really difficult to find beautiful and quality eyes in 8 or 9mm size with small iris. IOS recommends size iris 4mm. Better if it has a low dome because otherwise it doesn't fit. I know they can be pre ordered but I wonder where... It would be really helpful if we all could post here when we find them. Thank you in advance

 

Is it ok to ask if anyone in here who received a tan doll recently also might have a Soom tawny to compare? thanks in advance

 

Oh I definitely will when I get the chance! His faceup’s currently only halfway done now and I’ve just finished making his wig I always post my box opening pics only after I’ve “completed” my dolls, if that makes sense Hope to see your Eleison soon!

I got 8mm eyes for my Confutatis from Dolly Planet! Black Pearl (include small iris) - dollyplanet However it is a plain black iris design but it suits him very well. I was surprised at first when they recommended 8mm, smallest eyes I’ve ever owned

Does anyone know of a resin color comparison between white/'natural'/light tan/soft brown? I didn't see one on the site, but maybe I skipped over it.

 

@xyzKitty - In Sezz's listing, about midway scrolling there are pictures showing the 4 current resin colours, and 6 bodies with the light and dark tans added: LINK
there might be another spot, but at least this one is easy to find

my NS IOS Chaos does not look that yellow in person though, and the sample grey Koo head i received is very light in person as well. i'd love to see that soft brown next to other company's tans too.

 

ah, thanks! I hadn't really looked at that sculpt. I like that light tan, but I'm wondering how IoS's NS and the light tan stack up to other companies (I mean, I'd specifically like to see next to Ringdoll's NS, but Iple would work too...)
Looks like they haven't offered Han in anything but white or NS, so I'm going to remain hopeful that they'll have another order period with more resin colors.

 

I finally finished my Confutatis's faceup, added some piercings to him and restyled his hair
He turned out more adorable than I'd expected (I was going for more of a smug attitude!) but sometimes our dolls just decide on their own who they wanna be

where can I find measurements for the IOS70 boys?
I just picked up and IOS 70 cm boy and want to start drafting clothes patterns but can’t find the measurements on the IOS website.

 

the listing for the body alone, shows the measurements. it takes a little bit for all the pictures to load, and it's towards the end. So funny, i just noticed they have all the resin colours there, even the ones not in production right now!

the cat and dog skeleton heads they show on their instagram are amazing... i wonder if they will actually offer them.

I'm still waiting on Eleison from BJDivas. Should have ordered direct >_< There seems to be more pictures of Confutatis floating around and I love it! He's a handsome guy. It's nice to see a natural mature sculpt too.

 

Hey y'all, I got a question regarding the Old Sezz Head - I am very tempted to buy him, but I am not sure if I like the Class70 body.
I know it has already been asked a few pages before, but does anyone have the Sezz Head on the Class60 body from IOS? Or the Sezz Head on a different company body?
Are there any known resin matches with other companies? I never owned a IOS before, so I am very curious. Thanks so much!

How tall is the class 70 body? When there's a head on there is it actually 70 or like 68cm?

 

i think the 70 class is 60cm without a head.
i have a new Sezz, what body would you want to see? do not have a 60 class though.

 

Thanks, but I ended up deciding on a different body for that head- Simply Divine heads need to be on a BIG body.

But as for IOS... Ya ever spend a while away and then come back to a doll and go Wow, this is actually prettier than I remember?

Thank you very much! He's an Anima I dyed to full pitch-black, just for aesthetic, he's not even a Character as such, hah. So I call him Shade.
He's on a Doll Family -H body.

I think all the IOS sculpts, but especially the more realistic ones I am personally fond of, are just gorgeous! I'm loving the pics in this thread.

 

I had thought he was Anima! he looks almost like oil rubbed bronze, maybe from the camera? it is such a cool effect!

I think the iridescence in the black is the result of the purpley brown tones in the dye, I'm glad it shows up! It gives the color a neat depth under his silver dusting marks. The silvery highlights are acrylic paint. He's on this Doll Family-H 65cm body.

Edit, Nope i somehow misremembered, he's on a DikaDoll body. brain glitch. Lol.
