Immortality of Soul (IOS) Waiting Room v.2!

Finally! After 7 years, my floating Angel Studio Rebus head is going to get his 70cm body, thanks to IOS!
I was initially planning a Loongsoul 70+ cm but when I saw the IOS promo and their 70cm body, I love how lean it looks without being too....emaciated. Not to mention the wide range of poses it can do.

 

Alright added to my order. I am officially broke. I decided since they were on sale I needed to get ALL THE THINGS.

 

The sale got to me, too. My friend was just innocently showing me the head she was getting and then I saw their Tauros...!! *0*

Whaaa~~~~almost half a year of wait!
It suddenly reminded me of the Fairyland anniversary.....though theirs got delivered after 3 months.

 

Is this referring to full sets, basic, heads/parts or all three? o_o

 

I am guessing it's just a average number. I would assume full sets would take longer, while the parts would be quicker. We will probably also have to consider the order of ordering. The first to order is the first to get their order.

In any case, I asked on the Q&A board. We should have an answer in a few days. I'll post it here. And if anyone asked before I did, we would appreciate if you would post the answer too!

 

Yeah I couldn't resist the sale... I didn't see an option for face up so I've got him blank - my first IOS doll, I'm looking forward to seeing one in person.

 

A sale like this… will probably happen only once every ten years! :'D So yeah, too good to pass up. u w u

Oh! Congrats on getting an IOS boy, @Ehryn! This will be my first as well. G is such a cutie, I'm sure you're gonna love him. And the process of thinking up a faceup can be super fun too. I'll probably commission one for my guy, so looking around for artists is an extra thing to do during the wait~

 

Dolkstation is offering the IOS dolls with their own face up, but only 30% discount. I don't know if they offer this for international order.

 

He's going to make a perfect boyfriend for my Volks Elena I think! Fortunately I have a very talented friend who is going to do a face up for another friend of mine, so I'll probably see if we can get commission slots alongside one another so we can save on shipping hehe.

Congrats to you too on your Nova! It was so hard to choose just one, their dolls are so handsome! I hope our guys arrive around the same time so we can have the excitement of getting our first IOS boys together hehe!

 

It would be nice to have an option to purchase with faceup, but I don't think it's offered on the Dolk international page. ; u ; (Doesn't seem like all of IOS' sculpts are listed there, either.)

@Ehryn, it's nice you have a friend like that! I'm sure he'll look amazing once he's done. :'D I think G and Elena would make a super cute couple too, they've both got such sweet faces. My Nova will probably be paired off with a Supia Haeun, who I was going to buy if it weren't for this sale. xD Hehe I can't wait until they get here. Wait times might be a little longer, but it's so worth it. = w =

@Cyador They've apparently been getting a stellar amount of orders due to the event so right now we're actually.... not 100% sure on wait times. ^^; In the past they've been pretty good, about a month for heads and 2 or 3 for full dolls I think? If not shorter I think?

 

The shop said 2 to 4 months, I can only hope that is true - well, I am hoping it will be before Christmas?

As stated in a previous post, they will be releasing a new shipping schedule soon. I wouldn't expect the old one to be accurate during this time.

But we can hope.

Can't believe I forgot to add my name to the list I've been trying to figure out where the Lacrimosa and Infernale sculpts were from for ages (didn't even know their names lol) and was so happy when I saw Dollsquare's post about the IOS sale and found them there. Thought I'd give Dollsquare a try and what better time than during this sale. And only £5 postage... yes please! Being in the UK myself, it'll be so much easier and cheaper in the long run for me.

Hope no one minds, but I rearranged April a little to be in order of when orders were made, just a little OCD on my part

Haha you're welcome I tend to 'fix' the Iplehouse waiting room list all the time, even when it's just the colour of the shipping/arrival date that is slightly different, so I really couldn't leave it

 

I can not wait to see all these dolls showing up! Please - there should be so many pictures in the normal thread - and maybe a 'just out of the box' picture here???

Thrilled to see so many Bel Cantos on the list, I'm dying for owner pics of him. I spotted one somewhere, that's what sold me on the sculpt. If mine takes forever, at least I can live vicariously through others

I'm lucky in that while I've mostly bought second hand for the last few years, my first few dolls were from companies with really long waiting times, or whose shipping was delayed by a blizzard that stopped the postal services (China 2008... Damn that was so long ago!) so I'm cool with waiting 4-6 months for a doll! I hope it doesn't take that long, but at least I'll be able to snag a spot with my face up artist that far down the line and it gives me time to save to pay for it xD

I can't wait to start seeing shipping notices going out though, I'm so excited for everyone!!

Chaos and Infernale both seem very popular too! I really want to see owner pics of them. Quite a few people have ordered Lacrimosa, too. I have my own plans for him and I can hardly wait to see what others do! I've got to start thinking on a faceup artist for both my boys and collect plenty of reference pics while I'm waiting.

I have never actually had to wait this long for a doll. They have always been in-stock or a month wait at most. Thus, I am getting impatient! LOL

 

I wonder how that time-table affects those on layaway? If I placed the initial order in March would I be with the ~3/30 crowd or would I be put with the ~4/30s based on my final payment? I really hope it's the former D:

 

Whenever DollSquare has placed their order, I should have my dolls before my birthday in September - that is a whole lot better than Christmas, right?

@Zest - it depends. Some companies start the order before it has been paid in full, others only after. I do not know anout IOS?

Hi guys!
I recently purchased a secondhand IoS M head from the market! I'm pretty excited about it since I have some big plans for him. What kind of plans do you guys have for your IoS resin kids?

 

I'm pacing the floor waiting for a Lacrimosa and A1. Right now, I want to turn them into Iwaki Kyosuke and Kato Youji as Akizuki Keiichirou and Kusaka Touma in Fuyu no Semi.

 

Those sculpts fit the characters well IMO

 

Oh wow! I really hope I get to see the final results! You picked some great sculpts for some great characters!

 

I just made the last payment on my Anima head layaway so I figured I'm officially here now. I'm excited to get him! He's going to be my archer character, Julan, who will eventually obtain an enchanted bow. I have some prop-making to do.

 

Made my last payment last night. So does that mean I'm looking to receive my guy 5/31-6/3 since I origianlly order on 3/16?

 

Well, according to the website they begin production when you make your first payment.

I think shipments might start happening soon. Super excited!

Hmm not sure. Mine is scheduled to ship by June 3rd. I ordered and paid in full on March 5th (It was the 6th overseas). I think that was the beginning day of the sale.

 

*excited for you* I didn't place my order until three weeks later, so it will be a while before I see my boys yet. I hope you'll have photos of your box opening to post soon My lads' status is still unchanged. According to the schedule, they'll ship in mid-July. *paces floor*

 

I'm also interested in knowing when dollsquare placed their order, I just received an email where they said 'The estimated time of shipping to DollSquare is: 08.29 - 09.09. 2016.'
