Immortality of Soul (IOS) Waiting Room v.2!

May I join too. I ordered an Infernale head in white with his wig. I would like to get the whole doll, but with that short layaway and as an unexpected buy there is no chance to get him full- I hopefully get a body for him later. Did anyone here know if you can buy a body from IOS seperately?

 

Yesterday I ordered an Infernale head in white skin, with face up. For me, he is the second face of Lacrimosa :3

 

Ereskigal, usually they don't offer their bodies seperately. You'd have to join a split when someone buys a full doll from them next, or find one from another company that works :/. At least, that's how their 70cms went. I hope they offer the option for body buy periods at some point in time.

 

I see, that's a pity, Maybe if we all keep asking (if some more a looking for a body) they will offer a body buy period. With some other companies it worked well .
I thought about a split too, now I have time to save some money and when they are offering a new boy I can buy that one and sell the head or open a split. I'm new to IOS, so I don't know how fast they usually release the new dolls, but as Anarmonia and Lacrimosa were released in 2012 I guess there will be 2 in 2013 as well? It's such a shame that they only offer a 1 months layaway.

 

I ordered my Infernale in normal skin,his name is Slavik.

 

I beg IOS to offer face up on new and old release dolls and crossing my finger they listen. I have no talent on painting. Especially Lacrimosa my next wish list boy..still saving money for him

 

I'm waiting for the delivery of my CHAOS head (Make-up) since the order period (about 12/14).
Hope to have chance to buy an original new white color 70 cm male body someday.

 

I think I'd like separate sets of cothing for my dolls too. Except maybe basics like a pair of jeans. I managed to finish a pair of chinos for Taz but I am a little worried they may be a bit too small. We'll see. If they are too small they might just fit the little fox boy you are thinking about . He is so cute! I am looking forward to seeing more teasers. I also like the little smirky one.

Last week I got the eyes I ordered for my S. I am really happy with them. The colours look even better in reality than in the picture.

 

My CHAOS head is in home now.

That's a very handsome Chaos. : 3 I am still shell-shocked that I was able to order my Infernale head, in white skin. He will serve as second face to my DZ Edward, Philippe.

 

Just ordered Infernale's head last night! I am so happy to have him as my first IOS

the head at least. Their layaway options are pretty limited, but at least they offer it at all ^^.

Who here is hoping that they'll offer his face with a 'closed mouth' option! lol
That would be awesome! Though I'd still love the original =3 I couldn't pass
him up! I ordered a wig and eyes for him. So far I can't decide on a name, but
the personality is beginning to form. They said his head size is 9 inch and he
is compatible with 14mm/16mm eyes ^^

 

I ordered M and haven't gotten a notice either...but I did email them about something else and was told that they would start shipping next week.

 

Sure thing...I know I kept checking the website. So hopefully next week we'll both be seeing notices soon! Can't wait to see what you do with your S.

I'm still waiting for a shipping notice for my Keiji. Apparently, IOS wanted to improve a leg joint.
I'm waiting for a blank WS Infernale head too. He will be one of my four horsemen of the Apocalypse, Scarlet the Pestilence. I'm so excited about getting him x3

S is my first love and although there are a few other sculpts that I adore, I wanted him to be my first doll.

No worries - IOS is not to blame for the long wait. The time it took from ordering to shipping is totally within the time frame IOS gave us initially. And that although they squeezed Keiji into their sales plan.
We waited a long time because we fell in love with a sculpt that wasn't available at the time. There was a lot of website stalking and pleading for a re-release involved. All in all it was about a year for me.

 

Hopefully they will be on their way soon. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I also thought I might have to wait a little longer. Didn't really expect to hear anything before the end of April. They ship your order after mine, although you ordered before I did. Maybe that means they'll send Sasha and Ilya together.
This is so exciting!

How long did it take to get s home for order to delivery?

 

It usually takes about a week, depending on the delivery system they use. EMS is generally really fast.

 

from the day I ordered to the day I had him at home it was just under three months (2mth, 3.5wks)

 

It is good to know that Infenale was so well received
I always look forward to seeing what others do with their molds! Oh goodness, how tempting he'd be if they decide to make him with a closed mouth as well
Here is hoping that a 70cm body will be a good fit for him. *sweats* What kind of wig did you order for him AnnoDomini? I don't have a fully fleshed out plan for my boy ^^;

I was mostly hoping that once i received him, the little ideas I had in mind
for him would fit him XD He's so awesome. You know, I might ask IOS about
more versions of the sculpt after a small time. I don't want to pester them, but
maybe if they know that there's so much interest in it they'll at least consider.

As far as the wig, I ordered a straight black wig from Luts for him. I liked the
original wig he came with, but $40 seemed steep for me.@.@ What about you
Violetpoof? Are you going to try a few different eyes and wigs on him yourself?

 

Haha, I definitely believe I'll be trying out quite a few wigs and eyes. I am quite relieved to have gotten the default wig in case nothing fits XD
I'm more worried about clothing, I have no idea how to dress them. *has no fashion sense*

If other customers bought the 80cm body then I'd imagine that
buying clothing for him would be very difficult. But if the 70cm
body works well then you'll have a ton of options. I'd love something
more simple and professional looking for him than what I'd typically chose
for my boys. Dress shirts, slacks, suits, would all look stunning on him.
But honestly I think he'd look good in anything XD The 80cm body does
look nice though. If the head was $230 without face up, then I guess
that'd make the body $500???
