Yep he comes with the magnetic earrings. His ears have a bit of indentation for the earring/magnet so I think it might look a bit funny without them though haha. I love his expression too! Kinda smug and chill is exactly what I wanted

 

FINALLY received my shipping notice for Erwin & Levi after one year and three days! Hoping they get here safely!!!!!

 

Received the shipping notice for my new Sezz head don't know how long it will take until he arrives but I am super excited!

 

Fonally got a notice of shipping late last week for my I head, after ordering in July. After about another week, the tracking updated that he is on a flight as of today.

 

has anyone been suffering through a very long wait time?

i put in a year long layaway with BJDivas with the intention of paying it off when the doll was ready to ship to me, but..... i've now completed the layaway, and my doll is nowhere.

around september or october BJDivas mentioned to me he was ready to ship to them but he was cast on the wrong body because apparently the skin tone i requested doesn't come in the body i request, even though they said it did before i ordered. ultimately i was like, fine, whatever, the skintone is more important to me than the body, so... ship him! but since then i haven't heard anything and BJDivas has received two other IOS shipments, none of which include my doll.

 

I've just invested in the new mini version of Sezz in 40cm.
With his measurements and face and body sculpt he just happens to be a perfect fit for an OC I've recently developed and wanted to shell :3

 

So yeah, joining you here! Sezz is not my favorite of their sculpts, but I like him a lot, and really want to try out an itty bitty mature doll (compared to my crew of 70+ ). Plus...fun clothes! I bought two outfits to keep him comfy, lol. Hoping for a Claude or maybe an Aria (cracking up over the concept of a teeny Infernale) to keep him company if I decide that I like the size!

I wouldn't say Sezz is my top fav of IoS but he's surely has been haunting me pretty much for years. XD Nearly since I got into the hobby.
What outfits did you get him?

I didn't get him any tbh cause he's going to join my fantasy chinese cultivator styled crew of mature minis (mainly from Conarium, but not exclusively XD) and IoS only offered modern clothing.

 

@Snowy I'm sure I'll love him - have a feeling that these mini guys are going to turn out to be as addictive as potato chips. I bought the little jeans and pink sweatshirt, and the black t-shirt and pants with the brown jacket. Oh, and teeny sneakers because I couldn't resist, lol. I was a little worried that it would be a hard size to dress, so I thought I'd at least get him off to a good start.

It's great that the first one they offered was high on your list! I don't know too much about the Chinese cultivation mythos, but I am enjoying working my way through "The Untamed" on Netflix. I look forward to seeing how you style him!

Having a base outfit totally helps. And shoes. Evil, evil shoes.

Oh, Untamed is a good base. They are only focusing on spirits and some basics in there, but it's a good starting point.
I have some others of my MSD crew cosplaying my top four male favourites from that show -^3^-
Mini-Sezz is going to be an OC thought.
Won't stop me from mixing them up whenever I feel like it thought

I didn't particularly love either of the eye choices offered with this boy, so I'm already shopping. But...8mm. Grr, not an easy size! Sigh.

 

Did anyone else happen to order Raul in December? I thought he was going to start shipping around March 16th, but mine still says preparing shipment.

 

Forgot to plant myself in here, whoops. I finally got myself together enough to order the New Jaguar head a couple of days ago. Looks like I'm in for quite the wait. He's totally worth it, though.

 

My Raul is finally on the move! Now the magic question is how long will he sit at the airport waiting to take off with shipping backed up the way it is.

 

Holy heck, I just got my shipping notice for Jaguar exactly 3 weeks from when I ordered. I was expecting at least a 5 month wait based on the updates here.

So uh it only took 4 days for him to arrive on my doorstep. I feel like I've used up every last bit of shipping karma I might've built up over my entire life. Completely worth it, though. He's so perfect.

I logged in for the first time in months, just out of curiosity, and according to the fact that there's a tracking number next to my order, mini Sezz and his clothing are on the way home. I have no idea how long he's been in transit, because the tracking number doesn't work...plus, on 'my page', it shows 0 items shipped, 0 items in transit, lol. And, I've received no shipping notification. I have no idea what to think. Has your boy shipped, @Snowy?

@celga I think your boy hasn‘t quite been shipped yet, they just created the label already. Shouldn’t be long now thought!

They are a bit delayed compared to their usual quick shipping but not by much.

My Sezz was shipped in the 28th June and arrived on 6th July

Hm, why am I not getting notifications for this thread?? Anyway, the UPS guy delivered li'l Sezz to my office today! I was a bit surprised, since my dolls usually arrive by EMS - but the USPS has become so bad lately, with lots of packages lost or squished in transit, so yay for the switch! Really looking forward to the box opening.

@Snowy Your boy is adorable! I guess mine took longer because I decided to opt for the clothing and faceup. Here's hoping I like the latter - my IOS Levi's was so awful that I just had to wipe it, limited edition or not.

 

@celga maybe unwatch the thread, check you settings than rewatch it again. I know I had that problem about a year ago as well.

Thank you ^^ Yes, face-up definitly will add to the waiting time and with clothes it depends on how early they get ordered and if the one making it is sheduled / blocked accordingly.
Oh my, double crossing fingers that you'll like the face-up. I knew from the start it wouldn't work for my plans, so I skipped out on it. Hoping to be able to work on the clothing department this weekend. Still need to check what shoes to get him ^^°
And make up my mind wether or not he'll keep his temp wig or get something else as originally planned.

 

I put in an order for a Taurus head directly from their websight.!I am very excited, as this will be my last doll. As long as i live with my parents, im not allowed any more because they cost so much.

Does anyone know anything about wait times for just blank heads from them? Also how would i check my shipping as a guest? I lost the guest log in.

My blank New Jaguar head took something like 3 weeks to be shipped back in May, which was absolutely insane and not something I even remotely expected. Wondering if maybe he was already in stock or something, but who knows ;;

I just got the email that my Taurus shipped! Toxigenesis was right, it shipped very quickly! I am so excited to start working on his face up and put in the order for his body.

 

*flops in* Ummmm I just ordered what might possibly be my last doll. Probably for years, maybe forever unfortunately. Anywho a new Asyd is on his way to me and I am stupidly excited right now! I still have dolls to finish but I couldn't resist. I've been thinking of getting this doll again so so much and I literally cannot wait!

 

Just wanted to update that my Taurus head arrived today! I am already sealing his face so i can prepare him for his face up! Just need to wait on the 72cm ResinSoul body from DDE.

 

My Unitot Asyd arrived yesterday! At 1/4 he's actually now my biggest BJD, and I'm so happy with him!

 

yessss my Asyd is on his way! Soon Inuyasha will be home with me again. I can't wait!

 

Annnnnnd he's home! I forgot how much I love this sculpt, can't wait to find someone to do his faceup, gotta look into who I want for this one. But I'm out! Good luck getting your dolls everyone!

EDIT: I lied! I'm back just ordered an Anima head which will share the body with my Asyd because he fits the character I'm trying to make into a doll better than my Dollzone Raymond head does. So um whoops! lol

 

I took one too! Left on 23/09/21 and arrived on 14/10/21 !
But I took the body with ^^ I found it quite to my liking... remains to be seen if I would put articulated hands on it and I think to see to make tighten the elastics... (yes, I tell all the details, sorry xD)

 

I sadly could not afford getting the body, plus it did not come in the color i had in mind for my character. So I went with the resin soul one in a dark grey. All i have still are his little boots and his head. U_U clothes and body still not shipped... Soon i hope.

 

Joining the waiting room! Ordered the new Jaguar sculpt. Was going to wait but with the May 10% off sale I figured I might as well save some money. Just bought the head for now. I think I might see how it works on a prime frame body first.

 

Hi there! I ordered two heads a few weeks ago. I’m sooo excited. I ordered Infernalere and Lacrimosa.

Infernale really got me into BJD. I thought I would never be able to get him because he seemed like such a unique, rare sculpt. But then I found the IOS site and saw they were having a sale. I didn’t know it was even still active! So I went ahead and ordered both. I am sad that they no longer come with their official face-ups… I really loved both, especially the blood effects on Infernale. Hopefully can get a commission one day ): I’m also unsure if I should get a cheaper body or buy an IOS body one day. It’s just not in my price range right now.

Lacrimosa is also a gorgeous sculpt. He reminds me of this artist (Lily) that drew Itachi Uchiha in this specific style, I honestly wonder if his stock photos are based on it. Sadly that artist is no longer on the internet. Here is a comparison!

 

Waiting on the DOLK/IOS Komadori Ciel Phantomhive rerelease. My BF bought him for me in Feb/March and they're expected to ship out in Nov. 2022, according the DOLKUS. I'm super excited.

I just got a notice that my Komadori Ciel is ready to ship!

 

Ordered an Artis head last night, after they thankfully reopened orders. (They had gone to sold out and I was so disappointed.) Super excited to get a deer skull head like this; I wasn't expecting to order a second BJD so soon after ordering my first, but the head is too perfect. I've reached out to Resinsoul regarding a customized body, as he's gonna need hooves.

 

Yoo glad to see another person ordering a skelly head! I ordered tauros head November 5th to go on a first gen lady supergem body

 

I'm very eager to see more pics of the skulls hybridized onto different bodies. The skulls seem particularly fun to paint and dress up.

What's the wait time on IOS like?
I ordered a Crow back in November and was just wondering how long of wait am I in for, but the waiting list hasn't been added two since 2021.

 

On the pre-order for Andante there was a delivery time put in April for the dolls ordered between December 20th and January 15th, I believe!

 

That gives a bit of an idea, so my mid November doll might show up in March based on that if lucky. Thanks much for answering me. Crow is my first time buying from I.O.S. so I have no idea of their waits, or process. I just fell in love with Crow's insane grin and needed that face in my life.

 

You tell me, I happened to see Andante on my FB wall and I was already looking for a good male doll for a character, and he was JUST perfect...

I hope the body poses well, I like how "jointy" it is (I love more posable dolls) and I hope the few clothes I bought him fit him XD...

I saw Crow's grin and it's definitely insane, it's not for me, but I can see the appeal for others ^^...

 

I also ordered crow, the day he was available, whenever that was. I’ve ordered from them before but it was so long ago I no longer had an account. I assume everything takes forever now, but I was hoping since mine was just for a head it might be faster.

 

IOS really was not joking when the estimate before shipping is 60 to 90 days. Good news is that I finally got a shipping notice for my Class65F body. So excited for another frankendorrie to be completed!

My Artis head is on the move! I did see on the IOS site that there was a note about the weather causing some delays, so that's likely not helping any, as far as estimate times. Glad my deer god will finally be getting his skull.

 

The Class65F was ordered Oct 31 2022, shipping notice received Feb 3 2023. I'd say around 96 days or so

 

It’s apparently been over three months since I ordered Crow. I opened my account this morning to “you have no order history” and seriously panicked until I realized I could go to the 6 month tan and there it was. Still pending.

 

I'm also still waiting for my Crow. It's been a little over 90 days since I ordered him, so I'm hoping I'll see he shipped soon! I'm eager to get my (planned to be) punk boy.

 

My Crow showed up today, no email, no warning, just hi I'm here. So far this doll is living up to his wicked chaos goblin grin.
I checked the web site tonight and there is a tracking number that wasn't there last time I checked so guess I should have watched it closer.

 

I haven't ordered yet so I hope it's okay to post since i'm not technically waiting on it to arrive yet but I'm waiting for Sezz to be on sale again so I can order him.

I'm waiting for my Andante, but I have ordered it through my dealer, so I'm sure she'll update me... she'll also make his face-up before sending him to me ^^...

Andante is a little of a strange name for me, because I'm Italian and it means "going", basically... it's also a tempo in music (quite slow tempo), so as a term it's definitely more international known for that...

At a certain point I realized Andante might also look good as a girl (or just androgynous cause why not), but because I was indecisive, I thought it'd be cool to put him on a Switch HD64 Type B girl body if they ever decide to realease it. The chest is very flat, in theory you could present the doll either way. I read their rosy white resin is a pretty good match.

Also shout out to Enid from a fellow Italian At this point I don't question doll names because they are so random, haha!
