There are a lot of amazing artist dolls that I’d love to own but I know I never will. I think now my true grail doll is the Argonautica Nelei plus size that a lovely person shared a bit ago. She’s beautiful and I keep going to the site and wishing she would stop being sold out and that I magically had enough money to order her!

Lately, I’ve also been looking at the Feeple60 Chloe because I have the LUTS Senior Delf Chloe on the way and I think it would be hilarious to have two dolls with the same sculpt name.

 

This thread is so interesting to read! I love seeing which dolls people are dreaming of. I think I have (either in hand or on layaway) everyone I want. I am sure I could find a doll I wanted if I looked, but right now I think I am done! Maybe dolls I have already in other skin tones, just for variety?

 

I think I have all the doll heads I want, either at home or on their way but I could use a few better bodies for some of my guys and perhaps another girl body. Did I really say that????

If I was to wish for a particular bjd it would be a tiny Granado Raguel, Yes please.

It's really good question. Always I thought about smaller size, but my friend said few weeks ago "You should try something bigger" . I'm not sure, if I would. If I could, I would get an LittleFee Chiwoo. That's my favorite doll.

 

Before I found out about Loongsoul's Gonggong I would have told you I have been very fortunate in getting all the main dolls I fell in love with. There are some I would like to have but I do not need them, but then a friend recently showed me Gonggong and I fell hard, but I also know it's not even a grail at this point since he is so rare.

Soom Idealian Photon - Angel of death skull and human version too. But on ID75 body and blank I like to make face ups on both heads. He was one of my dream dolls, when I joined the hobby, but was sold out... I can't bond with muscle resin men, but I totally give it a try, who knew? (or maybe just buy the two heads and hybrid them with a more slender body?)

 

I would get dollshe's venitu! he has been a grail for a long time!! but since now -after they have been discontinued for a while, they are often priced at around 1300 dollars or 300 for the head. which is an understandable price but for a young collector that kind of money most likely not available.

 

Fairyland Lucywen. I love the pegasus aesthetic and how posable she is. But if an even better pegasus centaur girl comes out, I'd take her, instead. The FL Lucywen just seems to be the prettiest I've seen so far.

 

I still want DC Jodie. Preferably in yellow skin - but I'd take any Jodie, even if he had missing fingers and toes...
I just hate missing out on him - especially since I didn't *know* he was discontinued, as he continued to be on the website without any notification for *months* after DC told me he was no longer available. If I'd known in time, I definitely would have bought him.

If I ever did get a big doll some day, it would probably be one of the huge Angel of Dream boys. Ni or Huan, especially.

There are a lot of dolls I love - several of the Dollmore Lusion and Trinity dolls, for instance. And Doll Chateau big guys - especially Snowborn. (Yes, I realise they're continents apart in terms of styling, but I love both!) I love looking at them, but I'm not sure I want to own any of them.

For me it would be Souloid Ier. I've always loved the Souloid line but was never able to snag one, and Ier was always my favorite sculpt with that tan skin and mechanical parts. She's easily my grail doll.

Second would be an Asleep Eidolon mermaid girl in MSD size.

Definitely Dollzone Sawarrieda, Moment, or Anson. I was so crushed when I came back to the forum after taking a year off because of chaotic life, only to find Sawarrieda had been discontinued while I was away!

I would've originally said a Pipos Baha because of how many years I spent trying to replace my original, but I finally was able to find not one but two! So now the answer must change! I'm thinking I'd really want the DOLK x Pipos Rainbow Cheese Mouse full set that I missed out on a few months ago. I know I could get another Cheese Mouse because they still cast them from time to time, but I really loved the way that the Rainbow one looked. I'm so sad that I missed out on her. Someday!

 

Volks Shirou Tachibana After School Version was the first bjd I ever saw and either him, or Volks Yugiri would be my dream doll. However anytime I see one up for sale it is at a time where I can't spend as much as the seller is asking. Maybe someday!

 

The FL Minifee Alicia seahorse mermaid, hands down. Both the pink & teal tails preferably. She is SO gorgeous, it's insane

 

Easy, a Nabarro Wally. I am very fond of Nabarro's work, her sculpts look all so different from each other and from any others, really. His very long nose is so fascinating, and he can look sweet, mischievous or threatening depending on the faceup...

 

For the most part, I've got almost all the sculpts I really want. Since I focus on shelling OCs first, finding a sculpt that matches afterwards—there really aren't too many bjds out there I tend to yearn for on their own.

That being said—I do have at least three that fit the criteria for this thread (technically four—but one is OT). Of those three, there's only one of them I eventually actually intend to seek out. Thankfully he's available still, so waiting a bit longer isn't really an issue. Which one is he though? Impldoll Plaice. I have one OC I'd love to shell into him, although I've loved his sculpt even before I found he would be a perfect fit for that OC.

As for the other two—they're more minor wants, but I wouldn't mind eventually getting them. I admittedly had the head for one of them, but the OC I planned to use him for didn't pan out, so I think I'd prefer his fullset version instead. That would happen to be Doll Family-H Bei Lie. I rarely take in interest in fullsets, but there's something rather alluring about his. He's the only fullset doll on my wishlist.

The last one would have to be Immortality of Soul's Bel Canto. I love that distinctive smirk of his, plus he heavily reminds me of Adam Lambert. If/when I'd get him, I would probably have him be kind of an Adam espy—not quite Adam Lambert, but a glam rock musician in some sense.

(for that technically fourth one—an Evedoll jointed cat. One day I will acquire one of them.)

From Dollmore, Trinity Doll's Klaire "Myself Agape".

She's almost 3.5 ft tall at 105cm. While this version is sold out, the other Trinity dolls go for USD$2000+.

In my opinion she's one of the most beautiful things made by man. Words don't do her justice.

It also seems pretty rare for people to buy and own Trinity dolls, I've been looking for content about them, Klaire specifically, and people don't have many pics or videos up.

 

I am currently in a very happy position as I don't want any dolls particularly. I mean, of course there are a couple basic dolls that I am going to buy from companies directly, but I'm just waiting for some reduced price event. I don't count them in as I just don't want to buy them with full price, that's all. Then there's one release date I am waiting for, but I cannot really make that happen any faster than it is.
I've managed to get every doll that I want, from those that are no longer sold. This sound like I have tens of dolls, but I have six currently. I'm lucky to be picky. Weren't always that way, entering the hobby was like entering a candy store for me.

I have a couple dolls I really really love that aren't being made anymore. If I had to pick one, it would either be Boyd from Granado or Ducan DOT from dream of doll. There's a couple on top of those, like Jack from iOS and Tann-2 from Akagi

Cannot not find him. At all.

2. Volks Lucia - As someone from outside Japan and unable to access Volks sumika to enter in one off lotteries over there the chances are pretty damn slim otherwise.

-argyria ingenue: I’m definitely talking with Twigling about getting a pieta in her light purple colour. Also, I have so many twiglings now. If you’d gotten that one for me, she’d have been an awesome gift!
-DC winged sculpts: the bodies don’t work for us, but the wings are really pretty. You’ll get to keep a set of them, and mod them onto a hybrid body you really like.
-AS mermaids: that one slipped away, maybe for the best. They’re pretty, but sweetie, you can get a Twigling for that, and you don’t have any mermaid characters. One day I’m sure we’ll give in and I’m sure we’ll love her.
-RD carmilla: I’d love to dye her a pretty colour or have her as one of my vampires. RD just has a worse wait than ever. So she’s on hold.
-iple ashanti: I wish you had gotten her. You’re getting a lahela now, and she’s also very pretty.

I have lots of dolls I've always wanted to get, but if I were to choose just one, it would definitely be a Volks Unoss without mods.
I saw it for the first time on a meeting and I've loved it since then. I had the opportunity to buy one several times, but they were either crazily expensive or had terrible mods (or both) and never could get one

I really wish I could've gotten my hands on a DIMDoll Miru. The first time I saw charlietheskonk's on Tumblr, I wanted the sculpt so baaad. Unfortunately, DIMDoll had always been out of my price range and then they closed down permanently. I just hope that someday, I can find one secondhand. I don't even care if it's the male or female body, I just want it lmao.

Nabarro Sumner, Soom Dia..also, Unoa Lusis. Sumner was the first doll I looked at that I fell in love with immediately. Dia's lips are my favorite, but I'd also settle for Kay, since they're super similar. Lusis is really cute and suits my aesthetic a lot. I'd be happiest with any of them~

Honestly, I really love my Doll Leaves Hily. I’m really drawn to Mia’s face sculpt and even her face up feels so unique. Plus I don’t see many Hily’s in here or social media which only makes her that much more special.

 

I would want a Volks SD17 Cecile. He’s gorgeous and I’ve never seen one I haven’t loved. Sadly I can’t justify paying the price to have one.

I'm a strictly 1/3 human doll owner and I've banned myself from collecting tiny animal/pet dolls because they are a rabbit hole I don't want to fall into (aiieeee). Even though there are many 1/3 dolls I'd like to have, I'm honestly contented with admiring them from afar. But Catsy! I'd love to have her!

I used to think that if availability and finances were not an issue, my answer to this question would be the Dollzone mermaid, Sawarieda. When I first saw her I thought she was utterly amazing! But at that time there was no way I could possibly fit her into my budget or my space (she’s 100cm!) So I just relegated her to one of those “impossible dreams”…not even a grail status, because as a discontinued doll she was that unobtainable for me.

Fast forward half a dozen years later, and Dollzone re-released her (severely limited and strictly time sensitive, with only 17 available worldwide.) And she was offered at a discounted price, and even available in purple skin! Well, this time my impossible dream would not be denied, and I fired off a request to my favorite doll dealer so fast, I swear smoke was rising from my Ipad! I’m locked into a lo-o-o-ng layaway for most of next year, but she’s totally worth it!
