If you could have any BJD, which would it be?

There's a couple of sculpts I'm saving for that are within the realm of reality, so even though it may take me a little while to find them, I do consider them 'available'. If we were to talk about any doll I'd want though, I'd definitely say a bronze-skin Soom Clozel - I was completely broke when the last free choice event happened and I don't think a single person actually purchased a Clozel in bronze; I'm not sure if one even actually exists.

 

Ugh there's too many to name. But I guess in terms of price and rarity I'd say the Volks Okita Soji. He's so pretty and SO unattainable for me right now <.<

A specific antique one that my family lost a long time ago. From the 19th century. Lost but not forgotten. I really doubt I will ever see that doll again.

 

Volks SD17 Black Jack... If I knew this was happening he could've been my first doll, I love Kurō! (Honestly, even just Pinoko would be alright too).

His price tag is almost Cyrus and Stella's combined, and that's the closest I'll ever get to buying him LOL. I love my doll crew very much, don't get me wrong, but times like these make me wish I was more patient with my money.

I wish I could get a Dollshe Orijean head on a Dollstown 18 year old girl body I've been in love with Orijean for years but its so hard to find one on the second hand market since I missed the Dollshe head order period

 

I would love to have a Luts Zuzu delf Mong (monkey king) fullset. I have been wanting a monkey bjd and totally missed his limited release. I have been kicking myself ever since.

 

For me it would be an addiction Stella from Iplehouse, and a Creamy Mami from Volks.

 

Noble Dolls Minyane. Definitely one of the best looking anthro cats out there (actual cat-like legs and feet!) I love the sculpt overall, and her tail is also posable.

I already have all of my favorites. My all-time favorites that I've acquired consist of: Soom Amber, Heliot, Ender, Phonolus, and Hyperon. Love these sculpts so much

 

Lume used to make tiny itty bitty dolls and I wish I had collected them. I look in hope, but so rare and unique, usually not affordable for me.

 

If I could, I would get.... a FL Sarang '14 head with the fairy line torso and pastel pink seahorse tail. The human parts would have to be white. I don't think there are many white Sarang heads, white torsos, or pink tails... so it will most likely never happen.

 

If I could, I would get an AileenDoll Polymorph Cathy with the pink devil parts. I don't have marketplace access yet so I'm unsure on if they're popular or not, but I hope AileenDoll makes some more. Everything about them are so perfect

 

Oh wow, you have time to read all of mine?! XD From Volks, a Creamy Mami fullset. So beautiful. I found 2 on Mandarake on the same day but couldn't afford one even at the Mandarake price. Delf Ari, the first CP doll on the Luts site! There's one on the MP but I can't commit myself to a 3rd layaway. My grail was a Delf Angel Elf Soo, and I have one floating head and a full doll on the way! I'd also like a DollGa/Leeke Arien, but Leeke does put them on rotation so someday the stars will align and Arien will be available when I have money. Assuming I have unlimited resources, how about a Crobidoll Sinbi too!

 

My heart will forever be ensnared by Sexta. A doll chateau work of art.

I either own or am in the process of acquiring most of my favorites. If I really want a sculpt, I tend to do everything in my power to make it happen, instead of just wishing.

But I would like a Blossom Doll Hyacinth. She's one I've admired for a couple of years, but never had a reason to buy her. I buy dolls to shell my characters, and so far, she just hasn't suited any of them, so I haven't attempted to get her. My newest girl would like a girlfriend, though, so maybe I do have a reason now. I have no girlfriend written into her story yet, so maybe this time I could pick the doll first and write a character around her.

 

Either Soom Cass (I love her legs in the fantasy version!) or iplehouse Stella (to be my Lucille) I'm also in love with lightlimner's Letisha sculpt.

 

I'm saving up for a Doll Chateau Alberta. I adore her sculpt.

 

There are two limited dolls that I'm crazy about right now, Loc Labyrinth Ed. (dearmine) and Bull King Ed. (Luts). I wonder if I would ever see them in the second-hand marketplace but I would go for any of them.
It is so horrible when you miss the release of a limited.

I would most definitely choose one of Marina's Bychkova's costumed porcelain dolls....probably any one of the Cinderella dolls ^^

 

Delf Woosoo, no doubt. If they were released in Tan I'd be all over them even more.

 

Oh, then let me have a SOOM Namu, that boy and those lips, if only. Perhaps I'll be in luck and some day find him on the MP or SOOM might do a re-release.
Also I really want DreamofDoll's Elf Ducan so badly. I missed the last time they re-released him and I still feel miserable because of it. But, as with Namu, I am positive that he will be here with me one day.

 

Volks kazuya kujo or F38 or Delf Woosoo(my 3 grails)... but when I find them they're so expensive and I can't bring myself to spend that much. :/

 

An oldskin Megu (Taisho Roman Megu fullset preferably) from 1999 and/or a fullset YoSD Megu from the original release in 2008.

Enaibi made an SD android years ago called K-Rose-N. She was OOAK, and there are only about 6 pictures of her floating around on the internet. She's one of the most gorgeous things I've ever seen!!

 

Oh god this question is incredibly hard....there are soo many amazing dolls and sculpts out there that I wish I had but I don't think I could pick just one! Though if I could I wouldn't pick a particular sculpt/doll.....instead I would pick one that someone else has already customised/completed themselves! If that makes sense? xD There are soo many dolls on flickr, instagram and tumblr that I really admire and wish I could just buy a copy.

I would love to get an Elfdoll Vivien.. more than anything! I feel like I have searched every forum/group/site in order to find her since they don't sell them anymore with absolutely no luck at all!

 

My drem doll would be the one that got me started liking BJD's. I would so love to have MiniFee Rin (Sheep Story) with the fullset. I will never get her but I guess that's why you would call her my dream doll.

I am happy to own most of my very favorite sculpts, and though I have a few more dolls I plan to get, they're basics and not hard to obtain. If I could have ANY doll regardless of price or availability though... Nabarro Sumner. He's amazing.

You'll find one. Just keep looking and bumping that WTB thread. At one time I was obsessed with getting a Volks old f-12. I had only ever seen ONE, besides old company archives. It took 2 years of never giving up, but I got her. You'll get your Vivien.

1/4 elf doll by Enaibi, also a Soom Serin set (human and mermaid)---the latter is a goal and just a matter of patience/saving, while the Enaibi... well, I'm not holding my breath. So unrealistic that I won't even formally add one to my wishlist.

I'd also love a SDC version of Kira/Four Sisters. Volks, take a hint and make her a reality, please!

 

For me, it would for sure have to be a full set fairy line sia. I just love how cp made her a mermaid
