Is the regular white more yellow than Mia white?

 

I don't know, I haven't seen comparison pics between the two.

 

Anyone order their Huajing recently and got theirs less than 7 months? Just completed payment on a 1/4 Uncle body

 

I order a full set Thorne in mid November and received him in a little less than six months.

 

Ooo this gives my hope I can get my body early next year

 

Does anyone know how Huajing's normal pink compares to Mia pink?

 

I think it's close but I can do a comparison.

@purple_monkfish Here's a comparison for you. Huajing Thorne is on the left. Mia Apple is on the right. This picture was taken under LED lights. The match between Haujing and the hip ball of Apple is great. The lower body and leg of Apple are a bit darker. The upper body looks the same as the ball in the hip. The head is off for a faceup. Both dolls are from 2024. Let me know if you need anything else. I do have a Soo head from 20.19/20 also.

 

looks pretty close. maybe a touch pinker for mia but I think it'll work.

Finally I've received my Huajing heroic bearing body
I had gotten it in light tan, for a head that's supposed to be in Soom light tan. The match is something that I would say works more or less. There's a 90% similarity in my opinion, and the rest 10% can be solved with a faceup.
Huajing light tan is redder than the Soom one that looks colder.

 

Ooh please post pictures @Veraverorum ! I'd love to see the color match on them and the body in general (not least because I have a head in Soom light tan ordered and I have no idea what body to get for him)

Hello again, everybody! My Huajing Lingqi arrived earlier this week, and I suppose I should share some photos for reference . He is in their normal pink skin with company face-up and body blushing. His face is even more charming in person, and I think he has a pretty cute frowny face LOL! The clothes I originally bought for him didn't fit because he has rather wide hips and thick thighs, so I put him in a dress to keep him somewhat modest.

(Looking at the previews I don't think some images will show LOL !! Sorry about that.)

Congrats on getting him home His face is so cute, like a grumpy cat How long did it take for you to get him? Really love the body blushing too - Huajing is churning out some beautifully crafted dolls.

 

Thank you! I placed my order on April 12th, 2024 and he arrived on 4th November, 2024. So around 6 months and 23 days. Not bad! Felt a lot longer but I think I was just too eager to get my hands on him, haha.

Call for 1/4 uncle body owners! May I ask you to measure palm length, please? It looks graceful and I'd like to use it for a hybrid with different 46-50 cm male bodies but I'm not sure about it's size. Any comparison photos with popular companies' doll hands would be appreciated.
(I'm thinking about hybrid with unoa elder brother body, dream valley b4-17 or mystic kids I)

what is average waiting time for msd doll with make up?

 

Seems like it's well over half a year even for blanks, parts and bodies right now.

 

Got a shipping notice for my 1/4 Uncle body this week He should be here any day now. FYI I placed my order mid August of this year

 

4 months isn't too bad then.
Hopefully they're starting to catch up.
they had a real explosion in popularity and new stuff.

 

Oh that sounds promising indeed! I hope it's the new trend rather than just an anomaly. I'm still waiting for the pair of hands I ordered in April but at least they have shipped.

 

I just got my body and I’m loving it It’s so lightweight and poseability is amazing. Plus- the wide shoulders make msd heads on the bigger side (like my DIM Jullis) look more proportional. I’ll try to get pics this week along with my other DIM MSDs :3 I think my only complaint is that the resin match is not good. I wish I had done more research. MIA white is a bit pinker compared to my cream white Jullis head.

 

I hope you get your hands soon! That is crazy amount of waiting for small parts like that

definitely eager for photos! I have an Ace who's head is so damn big I just... can't.

But he's also quite a yellowed white so he'll never match any new body. I'm tempted to just dye the whole thing a more human colour.

I'm still considering a huajing girl body for my other Larina head and I have a Doll Leaves Ben who needs a taller body because his head is strangely bulbous and looks really off on the Doll Leaves body which is quite short and slender. Not sure if he'd suit something super buff but he definitely needs slightly wider shoulders and more height.

I've just bought a Luts head in real skin white colour which is a very slightly pinkish white. I am interested in putting this head on a Huajing body. The version 4 body's neck is the right size with only 0.1cm difference. I think I read that the Huajing white colour is very similar, has a light pink tint to it, could anybody confirm this? Or even better, post a picture that compares the two? Thank you

 

Huajing offers color matching to Luts White (real skin white), which is what I ended up doing for my Huajing Ver 4 body. I felt the color match was really good! I'm not sure how their own white color would match, but if you can ask for their Luts White match, that might be better. I ordered from Alice's and sent her an email about the color.

 

Oh I didn't know that, thanks for the info. I was planning to order through Alice so I'm going to do the same, send an email about the colour matching.

 

Just popping in to say that the Heroic Bearing body I ordered on Nov. 1st last year just shipped! That's just under 3 months! I'm so surprised because I asked for Soom Normal resin color through AC to hopefully match a MNF head I have, so I assumed with the special color it would take longer. But I am so hyped for this body! It just looks so beautiful~

 

It's nice to hear that they seem to be reliably speeding up! After my long wait, the extra hands I ordered were lost by the postal service (to add an insult to the injury) - knowing this, I might be courageous enough to attempt ordering them again


Does anyone have the 1/4 special girl body by any chance and could tell me what their ankle circumference is? I like their heel feet more and was thinking of getting them for my v4 body but can't tell if they'd actually fit.

Could anyone who has the 1/4 uncle body give me the circumference (or diameter!) of his wrists? I'm looking into getting some jointed hands, but I wasn't sure if the one I'm looking at will fit.

Thanks! I was looking at the Fairy Castle hands, but it looks like it might be too small. The ball joint for them is 1.2cm in diameter. Doll Family-A also has a set of 1/4 hands, but its wrist diameter is also 1.2cm. I wonder if some thicker sueding would work to fill in the space?

 

Sorry, I think I measured it wrongly. The wrist circumference (measuring tape wrapped around the lower arm) is 5.1cm, but I put the measuring tape against the ball part of the hand here:



The diameter of the wrist is around 1.2cm. I have a problem with attaching the image Hopefully you can see.

I tried some Resinsoul 1/4 jointed hands on my 1/4 Uncle body. They're the girl version so they're a little bit small but the boy version should work perfectly (when I get around to buying them) if you wanted a slightly cheaper option

4 months passed today and still waiting for msd + makeup

 

The last Huajing with makeup that I received took about 6 months.

 

I ordered my girl last July, still waiting. They used to be three or four months. I guess it’s good they’re getting more orders and they’re busier.

yeah my girl took only 3 or 4 months last year but then Huajing kinda took off and their wait times look to have doubled. A pity for us, but good for them because it means they're getting more customers.

 

They take quite a while these days. My blank body took around 4 months but they've gotten even slower since - hope everyone who's waiting gets their stuff soon!

 

I ordered a blank body in Luts real white skin colour in January... Logged on to check if I remembered correctly that Huajing takes a while now to fulfill orders...

No rush making a wig and faceup for the new doll I guess lol
