How Old Are You (continued... 2)

I'm 19 ! I think I've liked BJDs since I was about 16/17 ? I haven't actually managed to get one yet though ;-(

 

Heh. The first time I posted in the old thread (or a thread very similar) I was maybe 17. I'll be 26 in July! I got my first doll when I was 17 as well.

 

I'm 31. I got my first dolls when I was 20, and then promptly took a 10-year break from the hobby oops.

 

25. I first joined DoA when I was 17/18. Just placed my order for my first doll a couple days ago. (Took a long break before deciding to just buy a doll obviously lol.)

 

I'm 26 and just got my first this year! Looking forward to having a big collection.

 

I'm 14! I've liked them actually quite a long time ago, I was too hesitant to get one though, but I have one now!

It's amazing to see the huge age range in this hobby! I'm 18 and been into dolls my whole life but just recently got into the bjd community.

I'm turning 32 in a bit, and I got my first (full-size, resin) doll at... 21! Was interested in them some time before that but I got my first pile of spendable money then XD

I'm currently 19, I'll be 20 in October! I discovered BJDs when I was about 10 (I had already been collecting Pullips at that point) and got my first BJD at 11 or 12 I believe

 

I'm 26 going on 27. Still totally new to this so don't have my first BJD but I do have some accessories for it. I'm someone still contemplating buying one I have planned out. Just gotta find the courage (and money) to take that first step.

Started collecting Blythe and other vintage dolls at 18 but have recently just ordered my first BJD.

It’s nice reading and knowing there’s a lot of older doll collectors out there and I’m not alone. I’ve got a cousin who judges me for my doll collection and has made comments regarding my age and playing with dolls. You’re never too old for dolls!

 

I'm 34 and I got my first BJD when I was 21. The late-teens to early twenties are, I think, where the most people start in the hobby. I could be wrong, of course, it's just what I think I noticed.

 

I am seventeen years old, I just got started in this hobby and I don't see myself leaving anytime soon, maybe I'll be in my fourties still carrying a doll into the store with me! I don't think you should feel alone, there are many people in this hobby, we're a community ^^

 

54 and purchased my first doll 2 months ago, but have been looking for a couple of years. I never thought this is what I would be interested in at this age. Never.

I’m 26 and have been interested in the hobby for 10 years now, but bought my first doll in June last year.
I really love to play with my dolls, and really enjoy the fact my family is supportive, too! They love my tiny doll clan, it’s so cute!

 

I am 19 this year! First discovered BJDs when i was around 15~16 years old. I got my first bjd last year, as a birthday present for myself, and it sure hell was worth it which started my doll journey!

I'm 19 in May! Dicovered the hobby around 16, got my first dolls at 17. I saved up for a loooooong time to get them too! I'm the youngest in my local bjd group...everyone else ranges from 25 to 60!

 

I'm 21! I found out about the hobby as a young teen and was interested, but thought I'd never be able to afford them so I put it out of my mind. However, I rediscovered them over a year ago and decided I'd give the hobby a try, now I have 4 dolls and have plans for many, many more!

 

I turn 67, ugh, this year. Been in the hobby since 2012 so my oldest doll, Ash, is 6 now. I love all my boys and 1 girl.
Gosh, all you young ones have a lifetime of having fun will dolls. Make the most of it.

I'm 28, and my first BJD's head just arrived a couple weeks ago. My friends have been in the hobby a lot longer, but they're somewhereabouts in the same age-neighborhood as me.
