How long was it between getting your first and second doll? (pt.2)

gosh, i think a year or two? my first doll is a reinsoul yu. and then i got a resinsoul ya/mei about a year or two later? but lord, unless you count getting doll heads…i haven't bought a new doll in almost 10 years

 

I bought my first two like a month or so apart, and then they both arrived within 5 days of each other

 

I got my first BJD many years ago, but I waited for a while before getting another. After I bought my second and truly started collecting, I bought my third within that same month!

 

I also got mine a month or so apart. It ended up being nice to have my collection coming in all at around the same time!

 

It was about three months between receiving my first and placing an order for a second. At the time I was unsure if I only wanted to have one doll or a small collection (like 5-6). My Souldoll Katie.A has such a sad looking face and I felt like she needed a friend lol. Luts Bory Girl also looks sad, but at least my first two girls could be sad together.

 

18 months. I bought Dollfie Dream Dynamite Towa in October 2020 and kept telling her that two dolls would be crazy.

Actually I think it was 18 months because we spent all that time agonising over who Towa's sister would be.

Eventually I chose Uzuki Shimamura (left), who was followed closely by Kizuna AI. I like to think I chose well.

 

Technically, I "got" (ordered) my first two at the almost the same time (about four days apart)! But as for when I actually received them, I think there was about a month between arrivals. Neither of them ended up being my actual "first" doll, since there were several (either in-stock or more quickly-manufactured nudes) which arrived before either of my Technical Firsts did

 

If we are talking about resin BJDs, definitely 9 years haha!
