Does anyone know if the cute scepter is part of Luna's outfit or just a prop used for the pictures? Something definitely got lost in the translation -- especially since the choker looks like a butterfly, not a fish! I could, of course, wait for Volks to post it in English, but I'm afraid that I'm not very patient sometimes....

 

Don't worry, it's included ^^ The "プリンセスクラウンセプター" translates to Princess Crown Scepter.

 

The part written in katakan (プリンセスクラウンセプタ&#12540 says princess crown scepter. So perhaps it is included?

Does Luna have high heeled feet or does it just look like she does in those shoes? Also are her hands a special sculpt? they dont look like any of the normal ones

Strangely, I'm now starting to see he/she as more of a he. Is that weird? And I'm so happy that he comes with smoke olive eyes, because they are one of my favorite eye colors!

If anyone is getting Puff and doesn't want his wig, I would love to have it!

Yay... I was looking at Luna's photos when I found the Harajuku story icon... Firstly I was wondering what is it (I am sorry... I am so "forgetting full" ) and than I realized that it is Harajuku story's icon ... That is fantastic... But I think that Luna is not Kurumi's sister. Imo she is her friend or Tony's girlfriend

About the feet. hmm ok I guess it was wishful thinking.... are the human sized baby shoes comfortable? I dont want to buy a pair and not have them be comfortable ><;;

 

To me they look like H-01 hands, but more curled to hold Luna's scepter. They look different then H-03 though, so I think they may be unique. Somewhere between H-01 and H-03. We won't know for sure until we've seen owner pics.

You might be right. It would be kinda cute if tough Tony had pink, ruffly Luna for a girlfriend. Though I think Kurumi would be jealous. I love the way Volks has been making so many wonderful punk/gothic/sweet lolita dolls! I love Volks!!!

Oh my heavens . . . I did not imagine that such a foofy pink dress as Luna's could exist! But it might be too foofy even for my girly girl Gwena, lol. I'll have to see! The crown scepter is a cute touch though, and I do think Luna's hands look a bit more curled than normal SD girl hands? Could just be the angle though.

I LOVE the red BtSSB dress though, it is just too cute! *counts pennies* And those little Yo's in their kitty outfits . . . ouch. This much cuteness at once is painful!

Kurumi is still my favorite.. but Luna is very beautiful as well. I think I like Kurumi's face better but Luna's outfit better. They're both the exact sort of style of doll I go for though

Isn't that adorable??? It's like Kurumi wants to share her heart with Tony, but is too shy to tell him how she feels. Volks is so wonderful.

I'm glad they don't come with clothes, they would become more expensive! Half the time I don't like the "default" outfits they come with so it saves me a lot of trouble by not having to resell it!

Do they pick applications at random and email you saying that you won the lottery, giving you the chance to order one of the Limiteds? ; I'm sorry for asking so many questions. I'm still kind of new to the whole Dolpa thing.

While I am not affiliated with We Love Dolls, I remember this issue coming up with a previous Dolpa and I believe that they can not ship Worldwide, just to the US, Canada, and Mexico for Volks items.

I'm afraid if you want a Dolpa item you will need to either use the Volks International site during the AE (which the dates for have not been announced yet) or use the secondary market.

I am so sad hearing that Because I have never bought anythink I really wanted during the AE... Second market prices are too high for me, so this options is not good too
I have to ask- Is there anyone from Japnese who is going to go for the Dolpa and is not going to buy Luna and can buy her for me??
Or maybe someone from US who can try to get her for me in lottery??

 

Usagi is right. It is really hard for someone in Japan to obtain a doll for themselves, let alone for other people. From what I understand you wait in line for hours for a doll you probably won't get.
I would try the AE for the doll you want or the secondary market.

 

I really like him too Usagi! I was thinking that he looked like a baby Ushi too!
I need to prioritize my wishlist too, and my current dolls really want some of those new clothes they have coming out!

 

Ok... now I know that getting dolls in Japan during Dolpas is really hard but... you guys who live in US can obtain your dream dolls easily So if anybody from US can help me please let me know :

I do not even want to try in AE getting your doll... I have tried many times before (Dolpa 16, last Dolpa in Nagoya etc.) and I have not gor what I really wanted... So that is only the reason I am asking for help - I do not have luck in these types of events

 

Yes, getting a doll at a Dolpa in person is very unpleasant and difficult. I tried to get one there a few years ago. I waited on line in the freezing cold from 7 am until 9 am when I was given a very bad lottery # and then waited on line another 2 hours in the cold in hopes things would work out before the doll I wanted sold out and I gave up to visit the dealer's room.

While trying to get dolls for those of us who live in the US, Canada and Mexico is much easier, in that the lottery we apply for is via email so no long lines in the cold, it is a lottery if said item is popular. There were quite a few members who did not get Dolpa dolls they applied for. So there is really no guarantees there either.

Yeah... I know that entering lottery cannot guarantee getting your dream doll but... the chances are much more "higher" than in during the AE

My want for Luna isn't going away... Cry! There is no way I can get her and she wouldn't look right with my other girls but STILL!!! Sigh. I love her wig. Her dress. Her eyes. Her "I don't care what you think, Daddy, I am wearing this in public" mouth. Sigh....

Anyway, maybe some people will take a look at my sig and that will help them... XD I am not able to apply for any of the dolls this time for myself so...
