Yay just got a shipping notice for my "normal items"! oddly enough they were shipped 2 days ago and should be here tomorrow O.o Hoorah for fast shipping!

hmmm I always thought that the emails were automated and what not but the 1-2 day delay makes me think its more of a "cut and paste" thing ^_^

Regarding Limited dolls from "We Love Dolls": I just got an email from Debra confirming Lin will be mine, but, she also says my Luna should be at the store tomorrow. SO, this means that "We Love Dolls" should have all the dolls soon! I cant wait to see pictures!

XD Umeko has issues so it will be just Alice's. I need to stop spending money I hope I can make back a good chunk of what I spent.

Umm... I'm sorry to be doing this... But I just feel the need to ask... Has anyone checked their tracking information yet on their Osaka regular items if they've been updated yet? Because my status hasn't been changed since May 1st, the day it was shipped out. >___<; Again, I apologize.

 

Hmm my item arrived already the tracking was updated every day too... but sometimes when I ordered stuff before the tracking wasn't updated for 2-3 days when stuff was just sitting around I guess...

Oh that's a relief. >___<; I thought something was wrong the website or that the parcel might've gotten lost. I remember reading somewhere about how someone's order status for a Kurumi wasn't updated for a couple days and it was found that they lost the parcel... They recovered it I think.

Yeah, but that was a shipment from Kerby Lane and not Volks. So you should be ok. She did find the parcel though and everything was fine.

 

The bunny ears outfit came yesterday and it looks great on my boy!

I was really surprised by how the pants fit. They were supposed to be for long legs boys, but I think they're the perfect length for him. I may not be buying him a long legs body, afterall.

 

So I checked my order status for Papi, and it looks like they've begun to ship the dolls out! Once again, I haven't received an email. This is just another heads-up to check your order status.

Oh, and I received the two outfits I ordered on Tuesday. The Cream Mille-feuille dress is absolutely wonderful!

I got my Nagisa from We Love Dolls today. She's so cute!

 

Volks shipped mine on the 3rd. Technically, it isn't supposed to be delivered to me until the 9th, but it got to the local UPS today. I hope they deliver Papi on Monday! I'll be bummed if it's sitting in a UPS facility 43 miles away and they leave it sitting there.

Has anyone received a shipping notification from Kerbey Lane yet? I am wondering about my Papi.... Rochelle they said she would ship Thursday or Friday...

 

I know that We Love Dolls shipped mine on Thursday because I received a shipping note. Nothing about Kerby Lane though. =(

 

Rochelle told me in an email that all of the Yo-SDs were shipped on Friday, but Luna wasn't going out until Saturday. I'm getting Luna , but I haven't received a tracking number yet either.

 

I've been out of town, so UPS delivered to the boys next door. But my outfit DID arrive. :<

I've bought from Kerbey Lane before and I've never received a shipping notice. But I was told that your card is charged the day your doll goes out so you can tell that way. My card was charged already (Saturday I think?) so I think the Lunas are on their way!

 

Oh, I was kinda hoping for a final total and tracking number. I may email her because the funds came out of my checking account and I need to know exactly how much so I can balance my check book.

 

Well, Rochelle normally won't charge your card until you call her and give her the card number you want charged. That's when she tells you the total and stuff.

 

Yeah, I called but she only told me how much I owed on the doll and an approximate shipping. =/ I'm going to email her now.

I got the outfit and its gorgeous! and kudos to the volks designers, the outfit has two sets of buttons, so you can make the outfit slimmer, which I did so that my DoT didn't swim in the outfit.

The pants are too short, so he has to wear boots >_< But it's a gorgeous outfit!

 

Got my BtSSB Salopette set yesterday and finally opened it up this morning, it is gorgeous, extremely well made!! I will try it on my girls tonight. Who should get it, Jun or Shall? hmmm....

 

I got my red hakama school uniform and the black rose corsage set yesterday. They are so incredibly detailed (although I expected the hakama set to be cotton, it was synthetic). I am overall pleased and happy with my purchase....now if I could choose a doll to go in them!

 

I haven't received mine yet, but I was looking at FireFlyTranc's BtSSB Little Red Riding Hood outfit, and I am very impressed! The detail and the quality are just through the roof! They found lace that was in scale with the outfit. It's really amazing.

Same with the MSD set! I couldnt believe that every detail was PERFECTLY matched to my human version.
I dont know how they do it, but man do they do it well!
My girls red set should be here tomorrow, I am so very excited!

I just got my red BtSSB outfit in today and honestly I was a little disappointed. One of the front bows fell off just putting it on!! The buttons are extremely difficult to get into the button holes and I'm pretty sure they are also going to need to be re-stitched on if I take it off and put it on a few times.

Other than that, it really is an amazing outfit. I would say the drawbacks are the result of trying to match the human dress a little TOO closely. Some of those tiny buttons and tight buttonholes are a bit difficult for my human-size fingers.

I just went and ordered the MSD size on YJA, and I can't wait to see them with my friend wearing her human-sized dress! So, it's not like I'm THAT put out. It's just that the quality of the sets from a few years ago was AMAZING. By contrast, I'd say the design (artistic) of the new sets are better but the execution isn't quite as good. It makes me all the happier about the Black BtSSB set I got recently on YJA.

My Papi arrived today!



She is seriously cute, but the blushing on her chin is chipped. It's annoying, but it's in a discreet place and I don't want to wait another 1-2 months for a replacement head. So I think I'll suck it up and just keep her the way she is.

 

awww so cute!!! I am estimating mine should be here tomorrow..... please dolly gods, let her be hear tomorrow when I get home from classes!

Anthony, I got those eyes from Kemper Dolls. They're the 16mm Greenish Blue found on this page: http://www.kemperdolls.com/index.php?link=product&ID=383 . They're a wonderful color -- I wish I could find that same color in glass!

My Papi arrived about a week ago and her head was off I had to open her up and put the S hook into place.

I so wish I had been able to get a Puff, but I'm just happy that my Papi stayed in my cart.

yay! my Papi is home! They said her eyes were 16mm but the 16mm I got for her are huge.... they make her look like an alien ><;;

Same happened to me! Except it had no excuse.. It said it would deliver on the 9th, but didnt arrive in philadelphia until the 10th, but thankfully it was delivered today.

Congrats to everyone who has received their dolls!

Can someone who has their Puff or Papi tell me if they have a kips disc under their head like Yo Tenshi Mamu and the newest Yos? I'm wondering if Mamu was the first release like that or if Puff and Papi have it as well.

Manami, I think starting with Chinatsu and Kuuta Volks started using what they term "Chibi" eyes for their LE Yos. (The Yo tenshi have glass, so this does not apply) They're 16 mm eyes with smaller irises which is why the 16 mm eyes you've bought look so odd. If you compare Papi's default eyes with the new eyes you'll see that the iris is much smaller on her defaults. I like glass so I usually buy 14 mm for mine.
