I'm a bit relieved after seeing Stardust's userpics... others I've seen of Puff reminded me a little to much of gelflings :P

 

Finally, I got my shipping notices... whew... so I should get them next week sometime.

I was lucky and won Puff from WeLoveDolls. I am not so concerned about him since I was not expecting him to ship until some time later in April. (Hopefully before I leave for Japan!)

I currently have 4 Yos, so Yo outfits are always useful. (I think I bought one from you at one point.)

I loved the school uniforms for MSDs, but I was not fast enough. I really like the DD outfits, but I don't own anyone who can wear that size. The elf outfits looked so nice. I really like the quality of all the Volks outfits. Are yours all 1 order? Fortunately, I got my Yo outfits in the basket together, so I'm only paying shipping once.

Anyway, I wanted to share my good news, I just got my shipping notice!!!! I so hope you and Lopmom got yours or get them soon! Lopmom maybe you can check the status of your order if you log into the Volks site?

I have a question...
Has anyone else noticed, on the new Yo's description, next to the eyes it says "chibi eyes". (sorry if it has been mentioned before)
I think the eyes pupil is smaller and more in scale (not perfectly in scale of course) to the Yo's size. It would be great if they bring out a whole new line of Chibi Eyes! I know alot of us like the "small pupil" look. ^__^

I've not noticed that description before, but I do know Chinatsu and Kuuta had smaller irises and pupils than Anne, who had regular 16 mm acrylic eyes.

So maybe Volks started it with Chinatsu and Kuuta and will be using the new size for all future Yos?

 

Ah! Too bad you didn't grab the bunny ears hoodie set! You would have found plenty of buyers here (including me!) if you had decided not to keep it for yourself.

Did they sell the White Rose Collection sets at all? They weren't available for the online after event and someone suggested they might have had a production delay for them. I was seriously considering the girl outfit...mostly for the shoes.

 

Here is my Kuuta at his first convention in his brand new Kitty Coat Outfit. It arrived yesterday from the AE.

He looks SO much cuter in this outfit than the schoolboy one. Puff is starting to grow on me. I'm doomed....

 

He's so cute! I like Kuuta so much but I missed him in that AE. TAT

 

I hope that I get my Papi shipping notice in the next 5 hours

This week is the week "We Love Dolls" and "Kerbey Lane Doll Shoppe" will be getting in the limited items right?

 

I haven't received anything from We Love Dolls telling me that they should be receiving the order. I usually get an email the day before Volks ships to them saying that they will be in stock the following week.

Those places usually get their items about the same time that VolksUSA ships their stuff.

 

I got an email on the 23rd of March from "Kerbey Lane Doll Shoppe" regarding shipping dates, I assume its ok to post here...

 

Hmmmm. I haven't received anything from We Love Dolls. Although she usually waits until she has an exact ship date before she does anything. If I can get my doll a week earlier than expected though, that makes me very happy. =D

 

Thats what I was thinking ^_^ after reading that I now have my hopes on having my little Papi and Luna's dress home for the next seattle meet up which is the 22nd so I may be cutting it close.... As of right now I am organizing my doll stuff so the excitement is building XD

 

*blinks* Whoa! I've been out of the loop what with school and work taking up most of my time lately. Does this mean that my Papi might arrive next week? o_O Hoo boy! I need to hustle and get her some clothes... and eyes... and wigs...

 

Still no shipping notice yet! I just realized that we payed for the paypal through the bank though; that takes a week to go through right? Hoping thats the problem...

 

My MSD gym set arrived today! It's adorable. The backpack is actually HUGE. I don't have an MSD, so I only bought the set for the backpack. I was worried it might be too small for my Luts Delfs, but it's so huge it's almost too big for them! It's really awesome, so detailed and high quality, just like a real Japanese back pack. I'll have to get an MSD eventually to put the outfit on.

 

I got my AE outfit today-- super fast turnaround as usual. Go Volks!

Well its thursday and no news from either doll shop. Oh well, I hope they all come home in the next two weeks!

 

All I've heard personally is End of April xD;

 

I emailed WeLoveDolls and never got a response to it.

I hope it comes soon though, since I will be out of town until the end of April.

I talked with Rochelle at Kerbey Lane this morning, and she said they didn't have their order yet.

 

I'm not sure, but I think the VolksUSA lottery information slips said that we'd be receiving our dolls at the end of April or early May. Anybody else remember that?

Me and Lopmon got our kitty coats today. I'm kinda disappointed though. Their arms don't fit in the sleeves very well and the boys undies had a big hole in them.

 

Yeah I noticed that about the sleeves as well, you have to sorta squish the arms in if you want them to fit But you should email volks about the hole! I am very sure they will replace the underwear free of charge

 

Yeah Im hopeing they will. It looks like someone was clipping seams/ threads to close! And if they cant replace the kitty underwear I can still get their new ones coming out. Although I'm not sure they are releasing briefs...

Still need to get the credit card problem sorted out too...

 

Umm... I'm sorry to be a bother but... I kind of have a question about the Osaka Dolpa regular items...

; Volks doesn't take the items out of your cart once they're in it like in the AE right? Because I'm planning on trying for a certain item to get for a friend and the default Puff kitty suit.

 

I think they can disappear before you check out, though I am not sure. I wouldn't risk it though.

 

A lot of people said it happened to them on the US site, too.

This basically is an AE for the USA store. Or maybe we can think of it as the AE's AE.

I'm going to try for the Bunny Ears set again. I'm really wondering if I should try for the Ruffle Skirt outfit....but I think I mostly just like the shoes.

Can you open multiple windows and add items to the cart from say 3 windows and they appear in the one basket?

 

The internet browser that I'm using, Verizon Yahoo, allows me to do something close to that. I've experimented before by opening three different pages and adding the items to the basket. All the items have appeared in that one basket.

I'm not too sure if this method will work on the day of the sale but it probably couldn't hurt to try. ^_^; I'm just hoping that I manage to get the Black Rose set for a friend. As long as that manages to get in the cart, I'm good.

I agree! I cant wait for my Papi to get here! I am going to have Leeda re-do her faceup to be less....pink. I found an auction for a Papi with a custom faceup and she looks wonderful I am going to ask Leeda to do something similar.

O.o exactly one week untill the month ends. Why do I have a really bad feeling that volks will be shipping the dolls to "We Love Dolls" and "Kerbery Lane Doll Shoppe" on monday the 30th.... and it will take a week to get to the stores and another week to be sent to us.

As I have said before, and will say once again: Oh how I wish Volks would make the dolls first then sell them so they could be shipped immediatly.

I'm trying to figure out the site early (i reeeaaallly want that pleated skirt set ) where do you log in?? I want checkout to be fast.

 

I don't think you can log in at VolksUSA. I already looked, so I could be quicker getting my outfits!

Do we need to have our VolksUSA membership number when we order? I may need to go dig my card out again.

I'm in agonies right now. I must have the Bunny Ears set! But, I've decided to try for the Ruffle Skirt set, too. Should I go for them together or grab Bunny Ears and checkout first and then go back for Ruffle Skirt?

Delivery is scheduled to the shops for May 2nd. The shops can't send anything out before Volks gets product to Volks USA and, subsequently, Volks USA gets the product to the shops.

Very soon now, folks. The lovely critters aren't "cheapened" in any way by the fact that we have to wait for them. I know, I know ... patience isn't one of my particularly strong virtues, either, but that's how these things go.

I can't even try for the outfit lottery <pouts>. I was hoping to attempt to snag that boy goth outfit with the half skirt. Instead, have to take my daughter across town to a piano theory exam.

 

Thanks! I've been trying for a while (the AE, here on DoA and Y!J), so I'm hoping my hands are fast enough to get the pleated skirt set this time!
