:\ I know how you feel, last AE I couldn't win any clothing sets. I did however snagged the ones I wanted when Volksusa came around -- the clothing/wig/misc items usually make it to the store a month later, so expect around the end of April. You still got a shot!

 

I'm lucky nobody caught my eye this round as I am looking to bring home a new adoptee from DolpaNYC, but several of my friends were really hopeing for Luna.

 

I just picked up the SB Butterfly Bra & Panty set, and the Yo-Sd boy kitty set. I could so kick myself for taking my sleeping pill.

I could not get back to the AE page in time to see if the Yo-Sd girl Kitty outfit was in stock also... but back to the battle !

 

Congratulations to everyone who managed to get something that they wanted in this After Event. And if you weren't lucky this time, I feel sure that VolksUSA will have most of the outfits eventually, so don't give up. I was finally able to get the Red Riding Hood Coat set after failing to do so through the US Volks dealers and the VolksUSA lottery, so third time's the charm I guess! I'm so thrilled! And I'm just curious, did anyone manage to get the A&P Salopette set? I couldn't click fast enough to get both....

 

I was just able to add the MSD Kitty balnket to my loot, so what another hour or two to put in.

I seem to have more luck in sitting out the Volks Inc site. When the outfits show up on the Volks USA site.. I always have my outfit taken from my cart..which can't be confirmed and you lose your item.

I'm super glad that Volks Inc has the confim shopping cart option, or I would have been out a Papi.

 

How exciting! I'll keep checking back at the site once April rolls around. I'll leave a sticky note on my desk at work so I remember XD And hopefully, shipping with be a little cheaper!

Thanks Nena, you made me feel a little better. I know thats how I got the default kuuta outfit, it was randomly in stock at the USA when i went once, hunting for some Yo clothes XD

 

I just went on the site and the 2 Elf outfits are still available. I thought about getting one so I could say it was worth being up at 5:30am, but my heart was set on Luna and it didn't happen, so nothing new heading my way.

 

Just noticed that all three of the elf outfits are back in stock in case anyone is interested in those. Not sure whether anything else was restocked or not.

 

My boyfriend failed to wake me up on time as promised, so I completely missed out on the Lunch Server and Gym Suit sets I wanted (if only for those backpacks). At least I still have Puff coming to me from the VolksUSA lottery...

 

hey guys, do you think the outfits will come to volksusa later? I misunderstood and thought the afterevent started tonight instead of last night, so I totally missed out (and there were so many outfits I really desperately wanted. )

I'm so happy for some of you though who really really wanted dolls and missed out in the lottery and how you got them!!! YEAY!

 

According to Nena it takes about a month, but most of the outfits will go to the volks usa store too!

I feel you, I really wanted an outfit set, but it sold out within a minute

 

I had Papi in my cart and confirmed my order, but i lost my window

Later on I went to the log in page and then looked in the cart and there she was, so log in and take a look just to make sure your stuff is really gone.

 

I still have hope that I can get the usa-mimi/bunny ears outfit from VolksUSA!

The sad thing is, I haven't seen anyone say they got it. Was there only one?

I think the only outfits you are pretty much out of luck with are the BTSSB ones, as those were raffled on VolksUSA already or one needed to be super fast with requesting through one of the authorized dealers.

The others should all be coming to VolksUSA, though they won't all be going to the authorized dealers since I asked Debra of WeLoveDolls about the Yo Kitty outfits already and she said she would not be getting them in. ^^;

Good luck getting the outfits you want from VolksUSA.

They've been restocking the yo kitty outfits at least once. They were back to circle level stock, and then went back to the X in like an hour again.
The kitty msd blankets have also been restocked and sold out again.
Those are the items I've mainly been keeping track of.

After waking up nearly nearly four hours after the start of the After Event *clubs boyfriend upside the head*, I was able to get everything I wanted! The Yo-SDB Kitty Outfit, MSDB Gym Suit, some KIPS discs, a SD Perfect Catalogue... I'm quite pleased! *^^*

I tried going to sleep at around 8pm yesterday, to get up at 5am today. I was ready for a LONG Day, but it actually tured out pretty good so I was SoOo very happy about that. I got both my outfits, and even managed to get a few more hours of sleep after a bowl of cereal

Yeah, it's the SD13 boy outfit with the jeans, tank top, and hoodie. Those jeans are awesome and the rabbit-eared hoodie is the best one I've seen!

The Japanese site called it the "Usa-Mimi (bunny ears) Parka Set." I only just realized that the English page calls it the "Bunny Ears Hoodie Set", but I've been using the Japanese name all this time. Whoops.

 

Anyone who tried multiple times to check out with credit card, make sure Volks has canceled them. I got 3 charges and no confimation/order numer and ended up paying with paypal instead

 

I just ran into a similar problem with my credit card company. My account was put on temporary hold as a precaution against fraud because of what happened when I tried to use my credit card when the Volks web site failed. I found out about this when I had a different transaction declined this afternoon. When I called my credit card company, however, and they asked me about the transactions in question, I didn't even recognize the name of the company. But Volks was the only thing that made sense. Can anyone confirm what Volks International bills under? It sounded like Kabookusu? Thanks!

 

wow, I was there right on time, and everything I checked was sold out except Papi and I wasn't going to buy just him given the hideous shipping charges. None of the things I really wanted were available at the time they stated. Oh well. I guess I could have stuck around and waited for them to stock later but ... if you're there right on time and it says 'sold out' wouldn't you actually think it's sold out? BTW, before the event it said "not available at this time" not "sold out". Ohwell. Congrats to everyone who got what they wanted. Guess I'll start stalking YJA.

Has anyone that used the PayPal option for payment received an invoice from Volks yet?
I got the confirmation that said to contact them if you were paying with "other".
I responded to their request but I haven't received a reply from them yet.

Did anyone just go ahead and pay them in yen?

I sent them an E-mail this morning. They responded back a few hours later... I'm sure they will reply to you when they open up.... Are they usually open on Sundays?

I ended up having to use the paypal option also. And I received an email from Volks with an invoice of the order in yen that said "VOLKS INC. ([email protected]) would like to be paid through PayPal." And I thought this was odd since I hadn't emailed them anything yet. But it came from their imos email address, so I'm sure that it is fine. I haven't gotten around to paying it yet though.

I'm still wondering about the name that appears for the transaction on your credit card statements when you order from the Volks International web site? Surely somebody here must know? Hasn't anyone had their card authorized or charged yet? Thanks.

I think if I remember correctly it shows up as Volks. You do get tacked a foreign currency charge by the credit card. I got a 3% finance charge on my credit card from ordering on the international site. I don't get that from ordering on volksusa. If you use paypal to pay out in yen it charges your CC in dollars.

I didn't realize you could use paypal on volks international site.

I just received my Paypal fund request from Volks too and now I have all of the items I wanted.

Paypal seems to work faster than a regular cc. Not long after you pay they send the payment conformation. I wonder if PP orders get posted faster.

Does anyone know when VOLKS will ship the YO-SDs?
I've heard that Pati will be shipped at the end of April, and I am wondering if Puff will be shipped earlier. @_@

 

Got my invoices this morning!!

I asked to combine them to save on shipping but they didn't...
I also tried last AE and they didn't then either -- so, no surprise there.

FYI:
My shipping is running about $10 per outfit.
Today Paypal is using $1US=114.817JPY.

I'm going to track the items I purchased if they come to
the LA store and post the prices here for comparison.
I think that because of the CA tax we get a better deal ordering
from the Japan website than locally, at least for us CA residents.
Also the store prices start out higher than those in Japan.

 

It's a way better deal to order through the AE. I've always ended up paying less that way.

Paying more in the store is the price of convenience, I guess. ^^

However, so far I only know that the Yo-SD that were pre-order during the actual DP Osaka 3 (Not the after, the one that was held in the middle of March) would be shipped by the end of April.
From what I saw from VOLKS AE Japan website, for the dolls it said "Shipping starts on Apr. 2nd".

 

According to Kerbey Lane, Osaka DOlpa 3 dolls will be shipped the second week of April.

It may take a while, today is monday (a working day) so maybe they will ship some/most orders today. I paid by CC and havent gotten a shipping notice yet. 99.99999% sure they will ship this week....
