We held an additional lottery for the customers who took part in the previous lottery.

I won Okita too!!!!! My first SD won! I didn't win Saito hajime myself but my fren did. So finally I have my own win for SD...

Well, my luck with Okita stays true to form.... I've entered for him every time, and every time has come up a fail.
I think I'm just going to bow to Fate this time and say enough's enough. He's obviously not the doll for me.

I won both Toppi and Mihmi. I think this is the first time I have ever won all the items I put in for.

 

I feel your pain. This is the second time I've entered for Okita and did not win. I voted for him everyday too, and I really like this version.

 

I gots an SDM Toppi coming home soon. I can't wait to have her. I love Toppi so much!

You need to use a deputy service in order to buy from Y!JA. I'd recommend SMJ. All you need to do is register and deposit some money and it's pretty straightforward after that.

Hubby and I both entered for Hijikata but no luck. This is the second AE I leave empty handed. ;A;

 

All this means is that since there were cancellations on the lottery winners, they are doing a new lottery from those who entered previously but did not win. So those who did not enter initially are not eligible to be considered.

I didn't get any email so I guess no luck on the second round either...

 

Anyone receive their okita yet? I got mine this week, just feel weird that the finishing of the body wasn't was well done as the previous release, it seems like a rush production with rougher sanding finishing for my okita sdgr body, there are 2 deeper sanding marks left on the body torso which I'm going to take photos and send feedback to Volks.

 

Oh geez, really? I only did a brief check on my Okita so I should probably inspect further for sanding quality. They would probably say it's not considered a defect but send those photos, definitely worth a shot. Sorry to hear you're not as satisfied with it!

 

I won Okita in person at the AE at Tenshi no Sato and I felt the same way about my Okita! It's like they really rushed him out! I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who feels the same way!

I also found the wig hairs to be kinked, part of the outfit wrinkled like it was used (or they forgot to iron it) and his body barely had any coating. Plus, some big scratches and strange seams. I ended up taking him to the Doll doctor at Sato, the same day I got him, to have him re-sanded, re-coated with spray and sueded (I had to pay for it). I hope that when the doll doctor sees him, he will report to Volks that the quality is below their usual standard. The doctor on sight (he's so nice!) was surprised to see I was giving him a brand new doll that was hours old!

 

A shame to hear these quality issues. I thought this sort of stuff was solved, I hate to hear it is coming back.

 

Should've just report to the sato store manager directly. Volks usually takes this kinda of issues seriously.

 

ahhh!! I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt that way! I manage to even out the sanding myself with very fine sand paper. Usually the doll will come beautifully but this time the scratches and seams are a bit disappointing. I am lucky to have saito for me to compare, I can definitely tell it is a rush job. Pris84, will you write in to Volks to feedback as well? I will definitely let them know this issue.
