Still waiting to get my magazine, and it's now officially Over A Week. Myah. ;_; Perhaps I have dome something to upset the Fates?

Now that the backstory's out about Jun and Isao, I feel even more obliged to add her to the family. Man...

Anybody else waiting for their copy to arrive, too?

 

Too bad I can't get such an expensive doll...I'm looking forward to getting my magazine though T_T

I have the issue and I have found the page about ordering. It does not specify if you accept credit cards or not though. Will you be accepting credit cards, or just check and money orders?

Thanks for the info, Karen! I'd assume we'll be given a reservation # when we call to reserve/order? I looked at the ad in the mag and I don't see one.

 

If we ordered the magazine and it's not here by Monday can we still call and order the dolls? or must you have the issue in hand to order the dolls?

I got mine on Friday. So happy! Have been showing it to my non-SD lovin' buddies all weekend. It's also inspired me to think about starting my own SD newsletter with reviews and stuff. Yaaaay Haute Doll!

Now, if I can get through to HD to reserve m'self a Jun, the world will be at peace.

 

Say, anyone who happens to see this: now, what's the deal? Are we supposed to leave a message? Wait until we can talk to a breathing body? The phone lines don't seem to be set up to handle large call volume; all I get is busy or "thank you for calling Barbie Bazaar and Haute Doll Magazine, our lines are busy or our office is closed..."

As far as I know..the lines open at 8.00am..Im not sure what heppens after that..sorry Im not much help..let us know what heppens tho?

I'm getting that too. I'm so frustrated! Last time it just rang and rang and then went into the recording.

 

Ditto - I just left a message (just in case!) and have been trying too - I was thinking about this last night - they probaby don't really have that many lines so they are getting slammed right now - cross those fingers!

They'd only sold about 17 Isaos when my friend got hers, and they had a few more left.

I started calling at 7.56am I think. Only got to speak to someone like 8.10am....I got a friend who got JUN at no. 15#. I wonder how many dolls do they have???

I DID ask about having left them a voicemail since I did - she said they would not be making any call backs, and the woman I talked to said they are indeed getting slammed with calls - she said calls from "around the world" so apparently people are still trying to get the dolls from outside the US??

So keep calling! I think a lot of people are looking at the time and giving up so it's gonna be easier to get through.[/b]

I got through!!!! I reserved the 21nd Isao and the 25th Jun!

*feels relieved* I was so afraid I wouldn't get through!

 

Still trying. Trying to keep optimistic, but it's getting difficult. Also scared I'm going to run out of minutes on my cell phone and will then have to pay like fifteen thousand dollars per minute for the rest of the month. O_o

I got them I can't believe it! They said they were getting lots of international calls but both my dolls were in the 20s for confirm numbers - I am so excited! She said lots of people were ordering both.

I know how much you want Jun - you can try calling yourself and get the confirmation number and get either your friend to send payment for you or you send the payment to them yourself by EMS.

This is what I did and I got them.

Wowo.... They do get a lot of dolls. I had thought that they may have only 20 for each. It seems they at least have 40, maybe 50 of each doll. That is a lot ~~~~.

...I would just like to post a general appology to whomever I talked to at Haute Doll who probably thinks I'm an alcoholic or just severely deranged. Apparently I have no phone skills when I haven't slept for 30 hours and am freaking out about possibly having missed my dream doll. Whoever had to deal with my incoherence this morning deserves a gold star.

At any rate, it seems like you had way more dolls than I had thought! (At least Juns) I'm assuming Isao was sold out by the time I called... I didn't ask because I reeeeeeeally didn't want to be tempted ^^; While I do feel sorry for my fellow international-but-non-US Volks fans, this was a wonderful oportunity, and three cheers to Haute Doll for making it possible for all of us! I still can't believe they were priced at less than the yen price, too!!

[Edit: wow, you still have Isaos? o.O You did get a lot of them! So tempting to call back... But can't afford it >.>; ]

My thanks to Karen and everyone at HAUTE DOLL too! I'm really happy that so many of us seem to be getting though on these dolls...especially since I'm trying to use my powers for good here and establish good doll karma by ordering on behalf of others. But even if you're not in a position to order these dolls, you should buy the issue of the magazine, just as eye-candy. The pictures are particularly fabu in this issue, and the articles are good reading too. Its true, I'm a subsciber to Haute Doll, but in this case I don't think I'm being overly biased in my praise. Besides, some of you that may not be familar with other dolls might enjoy seeing what else is available besides BJDs.

I am really luck, I just made 3 calls before I get through , and I ordered Isao. An hour later, I cave in for Jun and get it too! Happy, happy, happy.

Yes, I'm so glad Haute Doll offered these dolls to us, many thanks! The price is really great too, Jun is only about $40-50 more than a standard SD13. I normally don't/can't buy the LE's because they're so expensive and hard to get.
