    2. Wow. =o_O=

    3. . . . that's the new Tokyo boy and a one-off of Isao?

OMGGGGG. *dies* My Shirou has a brother?! *flips out*

When you say available at Dollpa 12 and "through Haute Doll magazine"? Do you mean you'll actually have some for sale? o.o

Regardless, thank you for the post! :D

    4. Can you order just the January issue?
Also, if Dolpa is in December...does that mean that the January issue comes out before January?

    5. Also, what is the difference between that Isao and the first one?
...I was hoping that the Dolpa 12 boy would look a bit older...:/ I guess I can save for my FCS then, although I'd love to see different pictures.

    6. Tammie-
The January issue should be out in November.

    7. ;) Thanks
The Barnes & Noble nearby carrys Haute Doll, so I'll definately pick up that copy~

    8. OMG!!! I SO LOVE JUN!!!! Sooo cute!!! waaa! And i have no money!!!!

      Rachie :crushed

    9. Jun Tachibana is the sister of Shiro Tachibana and is the newest character in the Tokyo Boys' Story. This is Isao Nanjou (2nd chapter version) 3rd character from the Tokyo Boys' story. Jun is adorable. Isao has different makeup from last version and a totally new outfit. Pick up Haute Doll to see and learn about these two limited edition SD13s that will be sold at the Dolls Party 12 in Tokyo. We will be offering a limited number of Jun and Isao through our Haute Doll offices in Wisconsin. When you get the magazine, you will get the ordering information.Yes, you can buy a single issue of Haute Doll for $6.95. If you get your order in on or before November 3, 2004, you will get in on the first mailing of Haute Doll which may be important because we are selling only limited number of each doll.

    10. Sister huh...then definately out of the question for me x_x
However, I'm slightly interested in the new Isao...

    11. ;) ordered it~
I figured that I might as well, I'm going to get it anyhow...and the new Isao intrigues me.
So it's coming mid november? Neato~

I get so nervous though, blah...I hope I ordered the right magazine (although I assume I did since I used the # provided ^^;;)

    12. *ordered it as well*

I can't wait to see more pics of the 2 new dolls!

    13. Wow, it's a girl! o.o Well, my doll's sibling, I guess I'll have to try for one. ^^ I ordered the magazine and I'm very much looking forward to the pics and the articles! :D

    14. I was going to say "hey, he will make a pretty girl!" and then read your explanation... hehe.

    15. I don't care if she's a girl - I think she's adorable. I'm hoping I have a chance in hell of actually getting one.

    16. Jun! So pretty! I'm in love. :O

    17. ooh...I can't wait to see Isao's alternate outfit. I'm surprised that Volks is putting out a new Isao already, but I'll bet it's because he's been so popular. Jun is adorable too, is she an SD13, or an SD10?

    18. I love Jun! She is an SD13!
      Karen

    19. I just ordered the issue... I really would very much like the new Isao >w<;; Since my chances of getting the old one seem to be getting slimmer each time (I really just want the facemold more than anything...)

I can't wait to read it!

    20. Ooooooooo I love them both.. :D Especially Jun.. I want I want I wants.
Thanks for posting the info Karen.. Will be ordering your Haute magazine..
      Cheers
      Gloria :daisy

    21. is jun head available for FCS? which no.?

    22. Phoooeyyyyyyyy! >_< Bugger. I would have hoped, with coming out with Shirou's sister, they'd re-release Shirou! Jun is very cute though... She does look like Shirou's sister a lot! :daisy

I'm a bit  about Isao too... he's being released again... so soon? What about the 4th boy?! I can't wait to see more info about Jun though. I presume she'll be the Dollpa 12 SD release, and newlook!Isao the DP12 SD13 one...?

'Guest' - no, Jun is a Limited Edition. None of the exact LE's face moulds can be found in FCS unfortunatly.

    23. Ooh, Jun is kind of cute. If I thought I would have the money in time, I'd buy her, sell her head and get a boy body, but I already know that she has no place in my family. She's cute anyway, though. ^^;

    24. Jun looks lovely! *wants one*
I live in Finland which is in Europe. I checked out the ordering page for the 'Haute doll' magazine and there reads that it is possible for foreign to order the magazine. So it it means I can order it to my country too? I'll just fill in my address and credit card number and choose the magazine I want. Is that all? I'm asking this because I want to be sure.

Which one is the magazine I need to order if I want the magazine with Volks articles? Is it January 2005?

I'm a bit confused with this so could someone be kind and help me out? :chibi

    25. Oh, and that was me.
For some reason I wasn't logged in..

    26. Oh I get it order the magazine by Nov 3rd on the doll.

    27. So there's a new run of Isao? ::eyes bright up::

Hooray! And that might come at the best time for me to get one too cause I would actually have money then.

I just hope I can secure one unlike last time.

Jun is quite cute. If I was in the market for a girl I wouldn't mine getting her. You can she's defiantly related to Shirou with the face mold.

    28. @.@ Can someone help me with ordering this (January) issue with a post or PM? I'm on the site, but I can't figure out how to order this one issue only :o

    29. Yes you just click on the subscription link on the bottom of the page.
Then on the form scroll down and select only the January 2005 issue!!

    30. Hi

click the link on 1st topic.. then click the link on that page then when the pic of mag comes up click on the haute magazine pic then when next page appears click on the yellow haute word above the next pic of magazine then you put tick in the jan 05 issue and put in name card details etc and click at bottem and woopppeeee all done....

      hope that helps....

      :daisy

    31. Thanks mystical-maz!

    32. Just wondering--did anybody else do it by phone? I didn't know where it was on the website, or how to order just one at that...so I called.
I've never ordered by phone before, so I'm nervous...

    33. Just where and when would you be able to order Jun from?? Or preorder??
Not for me... for a freind....

      Rachie

    34. That's a good question Wraith. I want to see if I can get Isao as soon as possible.

    35. There are a number of avenues for Internationals to buy LE's now. They'll come out on the day of the Dollpa (Dec 5th), and also at the after-party date (sometime after that). Here's some options for you:

Doll and Hobby (Frank) Takes a limited amount of orders for each LE - He'll announce it when he's taking them I think... I'm not really too knowledgable about D&H.

Domuya also get allocated a certain amount - last time it was 4 of each. They're sold directly off the Domu-net online stall. First in best dressed. They went up after the actual Dollpa last time.

Volks now has an international site - and sells some of the dolls directly off that. They will set a specified time on the 5th for the shop to 'open', when you can put the dolls in your basket and buy them straight from Volks. It's pretty hard though! There's a lot of people all wanting to get them, so you have to be fast! They also sell on the day of the after party.

You won't be able to do anything though until all these places start announcing info. ^_^ Good luck!

    36. OMG! I want Jun! :o

    37. Thanks for the help with ordering the issue  Hearts for all!! <3<3<3<3

But... was I supposed to receive a confirmation email after ordering? >.>; *stares at empty Mailbox*

    38. Ms. Caviale, I too just submitted my information for a 6-issue subscription and didn't get any kind of confirmation message sent to my e-mail inbox; just a dubious-looking message from the secure server. That may be something your web development people should address.

Nonetheless, yay dolls! Yay! Finally got off my bum and got a 'scription to this magazine, too!

    39. Hi Guys!
Not at the office this weekend, but will get all your orders on Monday, via our website ordering system. It does not respond automatically, so I will make sure you get some sort of confirmation. Now, our office manager, Charlene, was sick on Friday, so do not panic if you do not hear on Monday, but if she is back, I will have her email confirmations on Monday. Thanks for concerns.

All ordering information, pricing, etc, will be in the issue on page 4. I am certain you will enjoy this issue as we worked really hard to make it correct, interesting and fun. Please let me know what you think when it comes out. Super Dollfies are my love (as well as other ball jointed dolls), so your input is essential to me. We plan on covering them all in the future with many more Esthetics columns from Sherri Rhein and lots more interesting articles and photos from the fabulous duo of Elizabeth Nelson and Mia Peterson.

I also heard mention of a gathering in the Chicago area. I would love to have you all over at my house sometime. I am 45 - 60 minutes north of Chicago on Lake Michigan. I would love to host a gathering next summer and I love to cook, so if someone wants to arrange it, I will host and cook!! I would love to share my kids with you and would love to have you bring your kids and your appetities too!!!
      Hope this clarifies!
      Karen C

    40. Karen - Thank you for the update about the orders.

About being the Chicago area - why don't you post a thread in the "gatherings" section about it? ^^

    41. Mep! I've ordered the issue.... And I'm very unsure that it got through.

      I havn't recived a comfermation.....has anybody?

    42. just a guess, but how much is this doll going to be (the new girl)? These are like $1,000, right?

ahhh so this is when I just look at everybody pix, right? :D

    43. Yup, got my confirmation the other day:

      "Dear Readers:

Your recent orders for Haute Doll have been received and processed. The January/February 2005 issue of Haute Doll will be released in a few weeks and you will get in on the first mailing of that issue. Thanks so much for your order."

      - Therese

    44. That's odd, I ordered directly from the site for the Jan issue...

I guess I'll wait untill tomorrow eveing.

    45. There is also Yahoo!Japan ..... Celga is very efficient...
Iam a happy client for one year now !!!.... I highly recommend them....of course, be prepared to pay twice/thrice the original price ......but... getting your dream doll is not impossible....

      ~Mia

    46. Dearest Karen, :daisy

Thank you so much for doing this for us in the hobby !!!!

      *throws confetti*

      :daisy :daisy :daisy :daisy

We are all very excited and looking forward to receive the Jan.05 Haute Doll Issue !!!!!!

      YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY !!!!!!!!!!

      ~Mia

    47. Uh...Just when should we expect our issue to come in?

    48. has anyone receive the magazine yet? :?

    49. They received it from the printer on Tuesday. You probably won't receive it until Saturday, at least.

    50. It's here! I got it today. But Karen said they probably won't be ready to take orders until Wednesday at the earliest.

    51. I pre-ordered the magazine and still have not yet recieved a confirmation email :(

      I dont know what's wrong since I'm positive the order went through x.x;

    52. Well, I got a copy of Haute Doll in the mail today.

It was the November issue. With Susie on the cover.

Gee, thanks guys, but... that's not the January/February issue?!?!

      :?

      Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot.

Left a voicemail message about this on the general message line. Needless to say, I'm really disappointed.

    53. 1. Can someone scan the order form?

      2. Can Haute Doll be contacted about their error and told that they'll be receiving a print-out order form instead?

That might solve the problem, provided Haute Doll is classy about accommodating you, given their mistake.

If they're taking orders Wednesday, something must be done fast.

    54. Well Karen said at the earliest Wednesday, but most likely the end of next week. They have to wait for the magazine to arrive at test destinations in various parts of the US.

    55. Is everyone receiving the wrong issue? *Mine hasn't arrived yet* :roll

    56. I have a two year subscription since the premiere issue and have not received mine yet - I would not panic (yet!)

    57. Hi Guys!
We publish and print at a Wisconsin firm, Quad Graphics, and mail from their plant here in Wisconsin. Our copy and our test copies for the January/February issue of Haute Doll have not arrived yet. With the holiday, the U.S.postage is slow. I know some copies have been delivered in Europe, and these were sent AFTER the domestic issue, so go figure. If you ordered the January/February 2005 issue, that is the issue you will be getting. This is the ONLY issue being mailed from our printer. If you ordered the November/December 2004 issue (Susie cover), that would have been a second or third mailing and would have been sent from our office. Our first issue mailings are always sent directly from our printer, Quad Graphics. We are not going to start taking orders on Jun and Isao until our test copies arrive in our Western, Eastern and Southern locations--most issues will probably arrive next week some time. Thanks so much for ordering this issue and for your patience.
      Karenc

    58. Yep, I spoke to someone this morning and confirmed that my ish was indeed on its way. Guess the November edition was just sort of a lucky bonus.

My apologies for being overanxious. Can you blame me when Jun is at stake?

I'll, er, be standing over there, feeling embarassed.

    59. My issue arrived today, and I haven't had a chance to read it all (so I won't be "reviewing" it). There's nothing in the magazine about WHEN they're going to start taking orders, or if they're going to be "first come, first served" or a random lottery. The information about ordering is 1/4 of one page, contains a phone number and address, pricing, and states it's to US addresses only. It's very little more than what's been posted here.

I tried calling the number in the order info. No answer. I realize it was probably a couple minutes after 5:00 pm there (our mail comes late), but there wasn't even an answering machine saying "we're closed, go away". So for those of you still awaiting copies, I think there's plenty of hope :-).

      Marcia.

    60. Just a question -- how will we known when orders are open? Only on this site? On this site and Haute Doll's site? I guess if that's the case, it'll be first in, best dressed based on when/how often one checks the message boards/web site... (Or maybe the time/day will be announced a day or two in advance to give everyone a chance to see it?) I just want to know where to look :?

...And, oh goodness... Come to think of it, if it's a call-in thing, it'll probably be scheduled for a time when I'm at work and won't be able to call >.< nyargh! Falling for an LE is sure bad for my stress level. ...Will not stress about things beyond my control... will not stress... nn.
