Haru Casting Mini Dolls - Part 2

My Maji I ordered last year’s leg snapped just recently. I was too rough with her when I was changing her clothes one day.

It’s not that big of a deal, because she can stand and sit and all that, and he’s going to send me a replacement piece when he ships the dolls from this order period.

I'm still being careful for myself haha I'm not the most gentle with dolls. I'm not rough with them, but I'm not gentle either haha
And tbh, I may one day get a second one of her, through him or second hand, so at some point I think I'll handle the Maji body

I have been looking at all the girls in this pre-order and I keep coming back to Wind. She reminded me of someone and I wasn't sure who until this afternoon. Wind looks so much like my Niece now I feel like I have to order her.

I feel like I have neglected this thread for a while
But I am so excited for this preorder because I am adding two new Haru girls to my family! I decided to get wind and another Maji + smile head
Here's my current Maji, since I haven't posted here in a while. Her name is Honey. I'll be keeping Honey, of course, and my new Maji will be in dark tan and her name will be Maple~!

 

I decided on Morae in the Nanni Choco color and Wind in Light Tan, both with the additional optional parts. I’m going to be so broke this fall, but it’ll be worth it.

 

Congrats to all of us who joined in this pre order we might be financially broke but we sure will be happier

Have you guys seen Haru's new boy, Its? I'm definitely gonna wait how that would turn up.

 

I’ve seen some of the body WIP pics. Has he shown his face yet, at all?

I definitely saw smiling Maji with a faceup tonight, though…. after swearing up and down to myself that I didn’t need to get her, and now regretting that thought process. The dimples kill me! She’s so freaking cute.

 

I think I like them because the blushing makes them look kinda like piercings, and I’ve always loved dimple piercings.

 

Plopped Sara and Benna (Maji and Geurim) on the couch today and took some pics with my phone. I really like how this one turned out

Congrats to all the new preorders! I have already begun trying to sell and downsize other parts of my collection to make sure I get these layaway payments done on time haha.
If I remember right, Haru said he has not started working on the new boys head but he said it will be more mature than his previous boys. Don’t quote me on that though, I think it was from an old story lol.
@Singull i agree on Morae, I wasn’t a fan at first but she’s growing on me!

 

I wait for the new boy, how will he look is interesting to see.

Finally I was able to pay the custom ransoms from my doll. I don't dare to hope he'd arrive on tomorrow but maybe Tuesday or Wednesday he will come.

oh. he hasn't posted Its face sculpt yet, but i just assumed before that Neul and Modeun's head would fit the new body. Haru confirmed it to me that the new body wont fit either Neul or Modeun's. i guess I'm just thrilled about the new body ( i personally like taller boys).

i actually had 2nd thoughts about Morae, seeing as i can only afford one girl. but Maji's been on top of my list ever since i saw her.

Does anyone know if one of Haru's tans is similar to Fairyland tan? I'm considering some crazy hybrids over here haha.

So far, Wind and Morae are my favorites and Light Tan is the color I would really like to pick (regardless of hybrids). Morae reminds me so much of my little niece's serious face!

 

I know that Light Tan and Soft Tan are very similar, but not a perfect match to Dust of Dolls Choco color. I don't know about minifee tan though.

 

Thanks @Riverboat! If I do take the plunge I think I won't worry too much about color matching. I can dye a Fairyland head if I have to - the Light Tan/Soft Tan is just too pretty to miss just because it might not naturally match well.

Ow. Maji's actually gonna be a twin to my souldoll diammah (who also got discontinued). Does Shin look proportionate to Maji? I mean, I think DV's 51cm bodies are on the thin side..

 

They actually look good together.

 

I got my confirmation email from Haru and I am so excited. I was only able to get Morae this order, but I am still thrilled. Hopefully, I can get another Haru doll in the future.

 

Hello! I am totally new here and don't even know, how it works to send a question. So hopefully I am doing it right. Since August I do own a Harucasting E-Minor and yesterday I bought a Maji. I am all excited. But since Majis his are a little wider then the hips from my other dolls, I was wondering, what kind of clothes can I buy for her? What kind of pants size? Can she wear MDD bottoms?

 

Hi! I don’t know if you use Instagram but there are a lot of clothing makers on there that have a Maji or Joa (same body), so it won’t be too difficult to get clothes. Just look in the harucastingmaji tag on Instagram. You could prob do the same on Etsy. As far as a standard size that’s comparable, I’m not sure. I think I’ve bought iplehouse JID clothes for Eminor and they fit and were slightly loose so it might work for Maji. I’m sure someone else may have more insight.

 

Thank you so much! Great idea! I will for sure try Instagram and Etsy. And I didn't know that Iplehouse JID clothes might fit too. I can buy them for sure, because it they don't fit Maji then they will fit E-Minor. So no money wasted.

He emailed once saying my Instagram wasn't working and asked I DM him, so I did, and he's acknowledged it, but that's as far as I've gotten - I'm trying to be patient but I want to pay for my girl so I know I have one (I know they won't ship for a while, I'll just feel better once I've paid)

I just got the one email - I know he needs to confirm everyone's okay to order one, so I figured it'd take a few days, I'm just a bundle of nerves and Maji is one of my top grial dolls haha
I figure if I can't get her this time around, I'll watch for my other grails second hand and get her in the future, I really want her smiling head which is why I ordered this time around instead of buying the secondhand ones I've seen

 

I have received my confirmation and I said okay to the terms of service for ordering from him. I also sent him the money via PayPal but I didn’t see any option for adding a memo with my Instagram and no to recast statement on my invoice. I ended up emailing him the receipt.

 

I guess i'm just kinda nervous? Its my first time ordering from him. So its kinda nerve wracking. Does it appear on the spam folder?

Not in my spam folder - I check my email every couple hours tbh and specifically search for his emails and haven't received a new one. He acknowledged my Instagram messages, so I'm just thinking he's busy - or hoping anyway haha
I'll wait a couple days before contacting him again I think - I don't want to seem too pushy

I think he’s on vacation/a day off, at the moment. He’s been posting videos of the beach. I’m sure he’ll get to you guys once he’s working again.

 

I figured it was something - my thought process was he's busy, I need to give him time - but like I also said, I'm a bundle of nerves haha I'm also using this as a distraction from something that just happened in my family which is why I'm compulsively checking my email. I already told myself no matter what, to wait at least a few days - the preorder isn't over until the end of the month, there's still plenty of time

 

Besides Big Geuru, none of the other girls are quantity limited. So as long as you got it in before the end of the month, you should be good to go. I sent mine the second he opened, and he just sent me the confirmation email plus cost and all that on Saturday morning. So I'm sure it'll just take a minute. Don't worry!

 

I went with Maji so I'm good there haha and I sent mine in a few days after he started the pre orders, I made myself finish a large project first, I'm bad at getting 90% done and abandoning projects haha

Since he did send the one email, I'm not too worried tbh - I'm excitedly waiting, but then I'll also be excitedly waiting for her arrival. And I requested a faceup, so I know it won't be quick haha

I have paid for my girl! I'm so excited!

Well, I clicked to send it, now I'm just waiting for the money to pull out because it wants to take a while haha

But I'm happy, and now I can obsessively look at wigs and eyes online until I decide on one, and since I have a whole to decide I'm not on any real rush

 

So far I've planned for her to have a very comfy kinda look, like outfits someone would wear in the fall - however, I know her personality might change after I get her, that happened with my other dolls.

I do know for her I want her to have very short hair, almost like a pixie cut - every picture I see of others Majis with that hair style are my favorite!

For now I'm knitting some sweaters/sweater dresses based off the measurements Haru has online, so when I recieve her she won't stay nude haha

 

I haven't had my E-Minor for very long. A couple of davs ago I wanted to change her clothes. Do you remove her head to change clothes? I took the head off and the hook almost disappeared in her body. It was also very difficult to reattach the head because it was very hard to pull the hook. Do you have any tips for me on how to do this more easily?

 

Some clothes might be able to go from her feet up - like a barbie dress (best example I can give, sorry haha) or a sweater that has a button on the back, at the neck area.

I've seen people use metal rings, like from keychains, and attach that to the hook when needing to remove heads, helps hold it when pulled and prevents the hook from slipping into the neck

I thought, I could use the tops from my Minifee, but I guess that will not work

 

If you live near a Walmart, most of them sell a pack of rings for cheap. I think I paid $2 when I got it and it had 50 - which yes, is a lot, but can't beat the price haha

 

How often does he release the girls?
I love Maji but I am unsure if I should buy her now because I have some other doll expenses adding up and feel like I should be a responsible person and not buy more dolls

 

I might have to steal a ring from my housekey.

It varies. This will be the 1st preorder for WIND, Smile Maji, & Morae, and he has other dolls (boys & girls) that have not been released yet, and dolls (boys & girls) that are due for another release.

A question from a harucasting newbie; are the skin colors different for every order round he does?

I browsed Instagram and decided Maji medium tan would be my choice, but when taking a look at Majis order page again I recognized there is no Maji medium tan
Only Neul medium tan.

I suppose that isn't the same skin color?

Also does he have an overwiew of the basic make up possibilities of Maji somewhere?

Maji doesn't have her own IG Highlight on Haru's page, so you will have to look through his feed for Maji posts and send the picture you like with the order email to know the faceup price. You can also create your own faceup and send a photo of instructions, or search the tag harucastingmaji on IG and send a photo with your order of the face you want to know the price.
