Haru Casting Mini Dolls - Part 2

I've just paid my Modeun order today. Now the waiting can begin, I'm so happy!

 

I’m already shopping for my Geurim like she’s gonna be here any day With my Maji, I didn’t really bother because I had no idea what she was going to be like in person. But knowing that she and Geurim have basically the same body, I’m hunting. I have no idea what I want her to be like though so for now it’s just a lot of wishlisting and abandoned carts :B

 

I'm trying to resist Geurim, because I'm waiting for Haru to open the Morae pre-order. He hinted March, but does anyone by chance have any more info on this??

Has anyone restrung their Haru doll to skip the elastic going from one leg to another? I find my Maji only ever wants to have her legs together and it makes her tricky to stand because she's so base narrow. I assume it's because she has this elastic literally pulling her legs together at the hips. I know these dolls are capable of amazing posing, but I just can't seem to master it!

Maji is not discontinued! She will have an order period in the summer, if memory serves. June or July I think

Did Haru ever say what size eyes Geurim takes? I looked through Instagram posts but didn’t see anything, maybe I missed it?

 

I’m still trying to decide. The body is what keeps me from going because I don’t want to have to deal with another size that’s difficult to dress. I also wish the shoulder width was bigger. Ideally I would take the head and hybrid but with COVID I’m not really up to selling the Haru body later.

 

Does Haru make heeled feet for his dolls?

 

Not for any of the ones he’s already released, but he is working on some for Morae, who will be released later this year.

 

I saw that one for Morae. So if ever get one of the other girls, from which company do i get heeled feet for them?

 

I have no idea. I don’t use heel feet, so I’ve had no desire to buy any and try them out. Sorry I can’t be of more help.

I have the hardest time deciding on a resin color ;___; I have seen the resin comparison pictures on Haru's IG but I would love to see a full doll - possibly in "Neul Medium Tan" - could anybody help me out? I'd be so thankful ♡

 

@Sasha of the Crows if you search for the hashtag #neulmediumtan on Instagram, you can see a full nude picture Haru posted in that shade.

 

Jup I've seen these ones ^-^ I feel that in each of those pictures the shade looks somewhat different though (e.g. nude medium-tan Neul looks way darker than medium-tan Modeun does in the most recent photos because of lighting etc.) So I was wondering if someone might have a doll in hand that they could share in order to compare even further ^^ Or maybe someone could comment if the pictures are accurate to the real-life experience ^-^

 

Yeah his tan shades look very different depending on the lighting in the photo. I have a Maji Mild Tan girl, and I can never seem to capture in a photo how she looks irl.

 

I agree - my Maji is Maji Medium Tan and when I was trying to choose I also felt like the colours always looked different in every photo. I have tan dolls from 3 companies and I notice that, compared to my WS or NS dolls, they can look the most different from situation to situation depending on the lighting. My only advice would be to try to pick the tan tone that appeals most to you - ie warmer tone vs cooler tone, darker vs lighter - and know that whatever you choose it’ll look nice but it will always look different in your photos too!

 

I only found out about the existence of Haru Casting less than 24 hours ago and I’m obsessed with Haji, and want to get my hands on her ASAP...anybody know when/if she goes on sale again?

 

He mentioned a few weeks ago that he plans to do a preorder for Maji and E-Minor this year, probably over the summer.

 

I'm hoping to get a Maji too. I've searched the skin comparison and basing from the last pre order, peach normal is the lightest color I see. Am i right or is Maji basic normal lighter?

 

He has pure white and cream white, which are both lighter than peach normal. Maji basic normal is the darkest of those four.

 

thanks for the info. by chance, do you know where can i find comparison photos? i cant seem to find a maji in pure white nor cream white. The color is confusing me. I thought Geurim in Haru's latest IG posts is in peach normal but turns out its in Maji mild tan (haru confirmed it).

 

I have a peach normal Joa, a Maji basic normal Big Geuru, and a Maji mild tan Maji in this picture. Hope that helps! I also have a photo of them next to some other dolls for a skin tone comparison between companies, so just let me know if you’d like to see that, too.

Yes, Maji’s hips are big. She can wear a Minifee top but you have to go with regular MSD (non-slim) sized bottoms.

 

Very sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but does the doll in the white bob-length wig on Tianba's instagram look like a it's a Joa?

Definetly not a Joa, but can’t tell you which doll it is I am afraid.

It's not a Joa, but a DIM Jullis. It does give me Joa vibes though!

 

Hi there! I've been lurking in this thread for a little bit now as I am in the process of buying a Maji second hand~ I wanted to ask what eye size she wears best? I have been planning 12mm but I'm not sure as I have never had a harucasting doll before! Could you share Maji pics with what eye size she is wearing? Thank you!

 

Maji Maji Maji! she is my all time favorite sculpt, I have 2. 12mm is also what I put in my girl, though I cannot for the life of me remember how to do images on DOA ^^; welcome to the Maji club!

Yes she does. I find that even some regular msd (not slim) are a bit tight. Its like haru says: she has thunder thighs

I managed to snag a Maji on the secondhand market, and i’m one layaway payment away from bringing her home!! I’m still trying to decide how I’m going to do her faceup, so can I see some other Majis??

@Singull @reeology In my experience, you can't go over the 640 size on here anyway. I tried to use a larger image for a sale and it kept showing up as broken. But thank you for sharing a link to your maji's photo reeology! she has such beautiful eyes

ahhh my Maji arrived today and she is perfect!!! she is in maji basic normal color~
This wig is a little big on her but I love the color so it'll stay for a while lol. Also I'm so blown away by how amazing she is! she's so posable but her joints seem so simple?!

Hi all! Haru posted about a July preorder on his IG a few days ago. hopefully, he'd include Maji on the list. I'm ecstatic to own a Maji.
