Some more information on Adories and Harucasting
The preorder has finished this Saturday. Harucasting says that the next one might be in June. Later this year, they plan to release Nanni doll/head. The first copies of which will be given through another tumblr giveaway to celebrate 2000 followers.

Also an important notice!
Harucasting is going on a trip from 25th to 29th of February as he mentioned here. He will ship first finished and paid fully (including shipping) dolls before their journey.

I was the last one to put my order in so he told me that I would have to wait more. I don't mind...I'm used to it XD

I bet that I will fall in love with the Nanni head, I just saw the photo of his daughter and she is so CUTE, I won't be able to resist those cheeks in doll form.

 

Did you just go ahead and pay it, or did he send you a request? I have to pay my balance and shipping and I'm not sure if he sends out a Paypal request or if I'm just supposed to go ahead and do it.

 

Sorry for butting in, I just thought I could share my experience. I asked them to send me the total and their paypal address, I don't think they send requests (at least not with me), it would be better to contact them via tumblr, they usually respond fast. If you have their paypal address, you can go ahead and pay (it would be better to confirm the total with them first) and then ask them to confirm the payment.

 

They just told me to send it to their paypal. It wasn't my turn for shipping yet, but they accepted the payment anyway so I'm all ready to go when my smiling head is ready! They don't send invoices.

 

Someone was asking about this on flickr and was told to wait until her order was ready to ship before paying mailing costs.

We have got a discussion thread??? How did I manage to miss this? xD;;; It's absolutely lovely to see so many people waiting on these little cuties, and it makes me very happy to see what everyone has beendoing with theirs so far too.

I just got a shipping notice today about a doll I've been waiting on, whose body is also going to be my little guy's one, and I really can't wait for it to be in ;v; I pray it'll be in by next week... I can hardly sit still at all! ;3; Here's a low-res image of little Satoru for you guys in the meantime, though... please pardon his messy alpaca wig, I'm still working on it! I can't wait to take him places...

On his tumblr Harucasting posted the list of the first people to be shipped Adories and the dates then the next ones will be ready to ship.

 

Eeeeeek! I'm on the list for Adori's to be shipped Can't wait! I actually already have the normal Adori head that Haru sent me as a gift which I have been using on a Littlefee body but I have ordered a smiling adori on the version 2 body and I will use both heads on the same body. They'll be the same character but different expressions.

xD easily my favorite thread, guys. Adoris make my day, so just coming to stare at your little ones not only makes me excited for completing Satoru but also just makes me smile and that's so important...

 

So Haru has shipped the first Adories today. I have asked Harucasting to ship mine by airmail, so it will take a little bit more time before I can hug mine. I look forward to seeing more of them in all their glories here.

 

Anyone in this recent shipment stalking your flight?
Mine's on flight # KE023. How many Adoris are on that flight?

 

I'm hoping one of you lovely people may be able to help. When I got my Adori head, I ordered volks normal. But I didn't specify "old" or "new". Harucasting didn't say and I forgot to ask! They unfortunately don't know and the only Volks doll I have is rather old, being a SDC Kurt. The only "normal" skin doll I've bought recently is my pukipuki who is about three years old.



I would say the color is fairly true to life. My Adori's headback is on the right, the very yellow head back is my Kurt's and that is my pukipuki in the front, obviously. Would anyone be able to hazard a guess as to whether that is "old" or "new"? I don't honestly know the difference.

 

When Harucasting sent You the head it was in a small package with a sticker. On that sticker was a number 1 - old Volks, or 2- new Volks.

Looking at the picture, Your Adori looks like it is in new Volks. Mine, old Volks,is slightly more yellow, but I might be mistaken.

 

Typically, old Volks resin is a "lot" more yellow in base than new. New Volks is much more pinkish. I can't seem to be able to find a picture of my old SD Ran to demonstrate, though... I'm very sorry. She was a new resin head on an old resin body, and although it didn't bother me since she was almost always well covered up her head was several tones more pink than her body.

 

That's quite alright. Both of your information was still very helpful. Alas a certain furry minion of mine loves to create box art so the package was thrown away not long after it got here. But I was kind of thinking new Volks already from description I've seen around the internet, so I'll just tell them to go with that or see about mailing them my headcap. Thank you!

Edit: Harucasting agrees. My body is properly ordered and paid for now. I can't wait to get my Soyong on a proper body and my little Oliver back on his.

Just sharing my girl. This is Soon-bok, but I just call her bok-bok. We are waiting on her real wig to ship, so she's in a temporary wig. Now if i can just master photographing black hair w/o washing out her face ._.

 

I'm happy to say that I have picked up an adorable Adori head from the market place. I'm going to try it on a Happy Time normal pink body and see if it matches.

I love all the pictures! I fell in love with Adori on Flickr. I have heard everyone talking about Nanni? Can someone post a picture?

 

No pictures of Nanni yet from what I've seen. (There is one picture of Nanni around Adori's age, and then a more recent older one on their tumblr.)

And to add to the Adori picture pile: Still working on this little munchkin's wig and then to paint her.

 

It is not a picture of the doll but prototype is as cute as Adori. I guess they will release her on a YOSD body too. I wonder who sculpts for them? I like how both heads were sculpted. I'd like too buy more sculpt of that author.

I had a dream that my Adori arrived, but alas, I have to have a little more patience. Meanwhile, I got her wig, eyes, outfit and shoes ordered. She finally has a name too. Hopefully the doll will take it. :p

The eyes I ordered for my Adori have arrived, and I've put aside a little set of clothes for him. Now to wait!

 

I do hope Haru opens up another order period in June like he mentioned. I missed out on getting Adori this time but I'd at least like to get either head (I would adore smiling). The sculpt is precious and ironically also perfect for my still-coming Doll Leaves doll. His character has a son who would be perfect shelled with Adori.

 

My Adori has been stuck awaiting customs clearance in the UK for 9 days now Getting so peed off. Want my boy home!

 

Argh customs are so aggravating !!! Hopefully not too much longer now though Lucy ! Are you getting Sally to paint this face plate too ?

 

I got my Adori head, now just awaiting the body I got for him....30-40 days per the website. Maybe I should send his cute little head off to the spa while I'm waiting. That may be a good use of my time.

My Smiling Adori head and Version 2 Adori body came this week! So thrilled with them! I've just sent the smiling head off today to get a faceup to match my normal Adori head (they will be the same character).

Also, Haru told me that the Nanni body will be chubbier than the Adori body. I wonder if she will also be shorter then as he said the Nanni doll will be based off that photo of Nanni when she was a toddler? That will be SO cute!

There's something about this sculpt that makes me happy and seeing all your adorable Adoris makes my day brighter! they're all so unique and with lots of character even when they're without face ups.

I just paid off my Adori but I won't be included in the upcoming batch. . But! I'm so happy to have made the preorder! I ordered a cute short black bobbed wig from Oobie doll in a 6-7" size. I hope it fits! And I'm making a white hoodie for my Adori. At least she'll have something to wear when she arrives!

 

Well, I wasn't expecting my head to ship so soon, considering that Haru let me sneak in an order after the order period was closed (they are so nice). But I got a tracking number tonight

Edit: Darn, just got a message to say mine isn't in this shipment, and the 3rd shipment will be 4th week of April. Another month to go. I shall enjoy vicariously through everyone else's pics while I wait.

OMG...I had been seeing these adorable little ones popping up all over Haru Castings flickr and had no idea how to get one. I came across some random post that said you had to share something in order to get on the list or what have you. Now reading through this thread I see how it all went down. Buggers for not having Tumbler. I hope I don't miss our on this little guy again if he is released in June. Time to go off and contact Haru casting directly and beg to order one during their next open period without having to open a useless Tumbler account.

I joined tumblr just so I could order Adori. Then a couple days later they opened the order on Flickr, LOL. Oh well. She arrived today, just 2 days of shipping to get here! I'm thinking of naming her Kimi. She needs eyes and a face up (on both faces) but Molly wanted to meet her so I threw together this oufit and took a photo.
