@Vindalootoo - While I do love a flexible doll, I'm also not scared to push bodies to their limits and mod if needed. I just adore how hefty the big guys are, even if they're not the most graceful. (I'm certainly not the most graceful person either). One of my close friends has a small hoard of LTF dolls and while they're adorable, they absolutely refuse to pose for me! But my other friend's ancient Iple boy with shoddy joints I can manipulate into graceful poses. Maybe I'm just weird.

@SteamWitch - He's so cute, and I can't wait to see how you paint him!

Made my second payment towards Lucent today. One more to go. I’m so excited. I decided to get the hands after all so have asked for those to be added on.

 

So I found myself returning to the waiting room immediately after receiving my much-awaited 75Adagio. No problems with the body itself, and despite being a little less flexible than my other male bodies, I can happily overlook it. In fact, he got sent with kips on the shoulders, hips, and neck. The thing that buggered me, funnily enough, was the fact that most of his default fingers are fused at varying lengths (bad news if you want your guy to wear a ring or two). I knew I wanted jointed hands for my guy, but I didn't know he'd need it asap. =))

Q&A to Granado this morning and I found out that my tiny Granado boy's alternate head is stuck in Shanghai. The Covid testing shutdown has interrupted all shipping out of there so we are in for a wait.

Got my boys yesterday.
They spent 115 days on the road. Ordered Sept.3, shipped Jan.4, home April 29.
I'd been so worried and anxious, that now I can't even play with them. Just checked that everything's fine and in one piece. Need to calm down and decide if I'm gonna keep them. Within last eight months so much changed

 

Oh wow @Letta . That is an amazingly long time! I just got a doll body (LS) that was shipped in March and then returned to the distributor in China then resent, but it only took a month’s shipping in total. I was very anxious but it was not damaged. Did it get stuck that long because of the omicron virus? Good luck deciding what to do next. I’m sure you will calm down soon and make a rational decision.

 

@Mahgiep Thank you! I believe I will Yeah, I decided not to rush into anything, so for now the guys are sitting in their cute boxes.

Actually the main reason of the delay was in the shipping company. Luckily for other countries, they don't work in Western Europe or the USA But in my country they do, and they have a really bad rep. They tend to take months delivering goods to the destinations if ever. And the tracking wasn't working properly. But all's well that ends well, right?

 

And here I am back again...! I got myself an open eyes 29Bonnie and some eyes for her. I'm so excited! I've been waiting for this version of Bonnie to be out since the sealed eyes version was released originally... She's just perfect for a character of mine, even her being taller than all my other girls!

Here's hoping that by the time she's ready to ship, the issues with Covid are settled-ish. I-It's got time, right? I only ordered her yesterday, but I'm already sitting here like "can she ship now?? What about now??" Hahaha.

 

I ordered a bust stand from them in Feb, and the order status is Awaiting Shipment. I just moved to a new place, so I informed them about the address change. They responded quickly, saying my package was at the shipping agent, but due to lockdown, the package was (and still is) stuck. Oh dear. I'll have to wait looooong. I still got no tracking number, though.
At least they were able to change the shipping address as I requested. I'm so relieved!

Hi, @SteamWitch May I ask about your order status? Is it still awaiting shipment, or have they already given you the tracking number?

 

They didn't give me a tracking number for my Lucent head, but it is stuck in the Shanghai shipping delay. My 15cm Lucent is still in their possession until shipping resumes.

I just ordered some of their new small jointed hands. They look like they might work perfectly for a slim MSD I have been trying hopelessly to find jointed hands for. I hardly feel the pair of hands is worth throwing on the waiting list though.
I hope the lock down over there ends sooner then later as also waiting on a tiny little Lucent 15.

I got mine with open eyes, I'm still debating on what I should do since his eyes are so tiny... Has anyone already a plan on where to buy/how to make eyes for him?

 

I have a plan for my open eye boy, but it's not to have eyes so I am no help to you @Miistery
I'm going to make mine look like a creepy doll with black empty eye sockets, and have black tears dripping from them. I got a plan to put a small black backing behind his eyes to make them look like deep voids. So yeah I have a plan, just not for finding eyes.

 

I will be making eyes for my tiny guy. I’ve tried making eyes for larger dolls and they were meh, so at this micro size they should be fine as you won’t need any details. Well, at least that’s what I’m hoping for, lol.

 

Ohhh that sounds really cool!! Sadly what I envision for my character includes normal eyes, otherwise I would have probably painted some orbs gold and used those for eyes

 

What material do you plan to use? I've tried to make eyes of that size previously with polymer clay but failed, they were wonky and not the same size... I don't think I'm made to sculpt tiny things ^^" Good luck with yours!! I'm curious to see how they'll look

 

@Miistery so funny, but, yeah I was planning on poly clay, but have had the same issues as you! This was for a bigger eye, like 12mm, so I’m hoping at this tiny size I can ‘fool the eye’ and have success. I’m also going to try air dry clay as I like it better. I have some uv resin to give them a nice gloss.

 

Hi, everyone. Granado contacted me today. It seems the shipping company has come back to work, and I had paid the fee for changing the address. I hope the service resume quickly, so we will finally receive our packages.

Oh cool, thanks for that @taykung! I must have confused them with DearMine who only sent their shipping noticed through their website.

 

One of my orders never left awaiting shipping even though I have had it several months. The head I ordered, according to the Q&A board, was shipped but stuck in the shipping stoppage. I never got a shipping number and it still says awaiting shipping.

I just got the bust today (I live in Asia). It's for my Switch head in normal skin (the bust is new normal skin), and they match very nicely (I'd say it's perfect but it's just my own eyes...)

It is good to hear that Granado start sending. Because I’m too hyped about my tiny Lucent since the moment I have ordered him.

 

Today is a great day! I got the shipping notification for my tiny Lucent! The excitement is back and I’m really looking forward to seeing how tiny he is. I think making his eyes, wig and clothes will be fun as I prefer working tiny. I could even do a face up as it’s so small. I hope everyone gets their tracking asap!

 

Got an email today tiny Lucent shipped the tracking makes it look like it was sent out on Wednesday. *does the happy on shipping dance*

I told myself I wasn’t going to track my package until a week had gone by, but I got curious and the estimated delivery is July 7th. I really hope so, but am prepared for another long wait, but at least he is actually moving!

I got an email that my 15Lucent has been shipped. Still no news about my 31 tan Lucent head.

 

I’ve been so worried about my little guy, I have been tracking his progress at least two times a day, and today he left China and is on a plane to Los Angeles! I’m so relieved, as I was expecting a long agonizing wait after reading the shipping delays from so many here on DOA.

Holy butts my Embody arrived yesterday!! It's gorgeous!! Ugh the jointed hands are just so nice I'm seriously thinking about buying a pair for all of my big boys
Edited to add: Granado sent the shipping notice to me a week after he'd actually been shipped according to the tracking (the 22nd), so when he arrived I was a little surprised.

 

My tiny boy's tracking says he's in my town so might get him tomorrow or Monday. Soon, very soon.

 

I have paid the second installment for my Evol body in Syringa some days ago. I got a Dark Lord Enoch head in the same skin tone around March or so, and I can't wait to have him as a whole.

I have yet to pay the shipping for the body because shipping to my country through FedEx is currently unavailable. They have yet to resume it after the lockdown, but it is fine with me.

If your package goes through EMS, it could experience some customs delays before leaving Shanghai because the processing is slow. However, if it's been stuck for more than three months, just email Granado and ask for some news.
They have always replied me in a couple of hours.

My package is sitting in California because of the July 4th weekend, so I still have a bit of a wait. Not feeling well, so I’m ok with pushing out the delivery.

 

So got my teeny tiny boy today, and I love him so much. However mine has an issue, so the um boy parts are strung, with the worlds smallest S-hooks... And well my little guy's very little manhood fell off, and so I had a bit of a panic. Long story short the catch for the S hook seems to have broke in shipping as there is nothing in his normal man part for the S hook to hook onto. (His other man part which I have no plan to ever use is of course just fine and could go on easy ) So after a struggle with tweezers and his bits I gave up took out his string for it and tomorrow will just be hot gluing the "normal" one on.

 

Oh my!!! I've seen those tiny tiny s-hooks and I think you have the right idea.
My little guy is in Chicago customs right now. I'm excited he will be here this week.
The replacement head for the missing head with a new tracking number isn't showing up on the tracking site.

 

My wait for Lucent15 is over. Ordered Dec 16th, 2021, arrived July 6th, 2022.

 

My tiny Lucent has arrived!! It went super fast between getting the shipping notification and him arriving the shipping box and the doll box both are really pretty and the resin is so nice to touch!! He poses nicely too, I don't know if this is typical for Granado, but there are flexible plastic rings in his bigger joints that act like sueding

 

Oh and I completely forgot he would come with strung male parts, that was quite a surprise during the unboxing!! XD I'm already terrified of switching his hand & feet parts, how am I supposed to change these other parts?? (not that I'm going to though, I'm instead thinking of making the extra part into a fun earring or something)

 

My little guy showed up yesterday but I didn't get to pick him up until this morning. He is everything I expect of Granado. Amazing little doll.

I have finally paid off the layaway for my Lucent. I added the jointed hands so it took longer than it should have. So now I wait. And plan. And see some clothes haha. And oh I guess I need a wig and eyes because they don’t come with those do they?

 

my 15Lucent is my first Granado and I'm amazed by how well he holds poses, he's strung so tight and the engineering of the joints is so good!! do you mean this is typical for Granado bodies?

 

Oh yes! Granado makes great bodies, both the big and small.

 

I got a surprise when I got home from the hospital. I had a package that needed to be signed for. I had no idea what it was. This morning I picked it up and it was my Evolve32 body.
I hadn't gotten a shipping notice at all. He is gorgeous. Now I need to take the neck peg off and put on the s-hook, then figure out who wins the body.
