@Tippetarius That makes me concerned for my 70cm Fortis body too, and it's disappeared from the My Orders page. I've messaged Granado about it, hopefully I get a quick reply

 

How do You message Granado? Do they have email?

 

There's like a chat window thing in the corner of their site. They respond pretty promptly to that. Answers will get e-mailed.

So, I got a reply from Granado.
Fortis bodies might be finished around June this year. They are still in production. 3 more months

I just got an email that the 33fortis is ready to ship and granado asking about the tariff situation and declared values.
Since the fortis body has so many small parts I think I would rather be covered by insurance.

De minimus isn't going away before May 2nd so it should be fine?

 

Granado have gotten back to me about the 70cm Fortis – they estimate it will be ready to ship in June, same as Swampruler heard

 

Took a while for them to give me a tracking number. Got it today and it was actually shipped on the 11th.

It is in Los Angeles Customs now. SOON!!

 

Is it true the heads on Granado dolls are vinyl?

 

@PBitzel Granado's Vindoll line is made of vinyl, and therefore off-topic for DoA. The rest of their dolls are made of resin and on-topic

Completely out of the blue: a doll has appeared! I never got a shipping notice or anything, but I came home from work to find my 50 cm Orion on the Fortis body on my doorstep! He's actually a lot bigger than expected, but he's just going to be a demigod among normals I guess, haha. His head is in scale with my other fashion sized crew, so he does fit in.

I was super unprepared but I did have some shorts so he's not naked, and he has eyes that'll work for now, but I have nothing else yet. I will have to figure out his style, and color scheme. At least I can sew okay, because I doubt anything off the rack will work. He's got big feet too!
Here he is next to my Dollshe Diana, and she's in heels!

Meant to come in and say this: ordered on the 5th from Legend Doll - a 31 Lucifer! Looking forward to seeing him when he finally arrives. Now to try to find a wig for him, and eyes. Anyone got any hints/tips?

 

Finally my body has been shipped. The tracking is yet to work, thought.

 

And it's home!


All the clothes I have at home are too small. Lol

The body came with jj parts, additional string, additional neck part and head holder.

My Fortis 63 cm arrived! I got an email earlier this last week, and then today the box was on my doorstep!
And OMG he's amazing. The MOTION RANGE. I need to do a quick photoshoot and show it in the Granado Thread

 

The body is for a 65 cm doll, but it has the same overall proportions and height as my 2d 68cm doll.

I am so happy I got this body. The sculpting and posing are phantastic! It takes some time to learn how to pose this body, though.

It came with two neck options small and big one. The small one was a great fit for my Ringdoll Sun Ce head, a head meant for a 75cm body.

 

Maybe I should've ordered the 65 if I'd known he was going to run tall, oops!

Glad to hear the posing is great on the 65 and 63 though, I'm excited. I wonder if it'll be anything like my Bimong girl, who's a great poser with some very individual quirks from a design and sculpting perspective.

I've just messaged Granado for an update. When they get back to me, I'll share the response here for anyone else who might be waiting for a 70.

 

Update: Granado have gotten back to me and said my Fortis body will be shipping this month.

If anyone can share posing review pics of their Fortises while I wait, it would be much appreciated!

 

My 65Fortis is shipping!

 

Sorry to double post, however my fortis 65 guy is here.
I love the body, and like his default head, however if I have one nitpick it's his shoulders make his head look extra small. That said my plan was always to use this body for a floating head so it's a non issue for me.

 

My 70cm Fortis is nearly ready for shipping! Granado emailed today to confirm my address

I’ve just got my 50 fortis with Orion head. I’d forgotten all about him so I’m totally unprepared and have no clothes or eyes or a wig or anything for him. I did find a top that fits. His range of motion is AMAZING. Where are we all getting clothes from now that bjdbhiner appears to not be around anymore ?

 

What size eyes did you use? I am totally unprepared so I have an eyeless, wigless half naked boy on my desk

 

My Fortis body is still on his way – today's latest tracking update says he's "in a sorting facility" but I don't know exactly where that is between Melbourne/Sydney and me...hopefully he'll arrive before the weekend

 

@Bluebell I've been sewing clothes from scratch! Terribly, in fact, but he's dressed.
I haven't found appropriate shoes, or a wig that isn't incredibly poofy. And since I can't decide on a wig, I can't decide on his eyebrows, and he's blank faced still!

He's currently got 6/3 mm eyes in. 8 mm would fit as well, but small iris is the way to go. I think 8/3 would be ideal, but I can deal with the bit of gapping his current eyes have. Sorry about the horrible picture, I live in a basement apartment and everything is always dim.

My Fortis 70 is here and I love it so much! Already such a stable and dynamic poser out of the box, and I appreciate Granado including 2 necks as well as extra s-hooks and elastic.

He even passed my number 1 big boy test: holding a tiny unassisted. I tried my Illusion Garden Johan head on him, although this isn't the head I plan on using him for, but it also turns out Granado White is just a little bit peachier than old IG Lace White, which gives me more body options for Johan down the track

I plan to sew clothes but won’t have time until next month and just didn’t want him to be naked I’ve bought some 10mm small iris eyes but I guess those will be too big. Off to hunt for 8mm instead.

 

I got a shipping notice this morning for my Granado 31 Lucifer from LegendDoll! Annoyingly, I have yet to order his eyes or his hair because I thought I had a little longer... Going to do that today!
