Gem of Doll Waiting Room

They didn't leave a slip at all it seems.... i have the tracking number, but it just says the "No access to delivery location" message from saturday with no new updates... im hoping that checking at the post office today and submitting a missing mail request will kick things off again, but i have to go back to work tomorrow so i wont be around to sign if it needs a signature DX

 

The other doll I ordered with my Adelise finished sooner than I expected, ACBJD sent me a shipping notification an hour ago! I am SO happy I will get to see her soon. I have a busy week of of work but this is a great motivation to get through the week. I may be able to give both dolls a faceup this weekend if they arrive by then (and the weather cooperates ).

 

I paid off my layaway for Luna today! Can't wait for her!

 

My Beth (fullset) shipped yesterday! I'm so so so excited, she's so precious

 

I forgot to post yesterday (was too excited) but my Adelise came home! She does have the new Windsor body and it's even nicer in person! Now I am just waiting for her jointed hands and some heeled feet (I decided I wanted her to be even taller ).

I am so so sad.... my post office was completely incompetent with my package that has my Ann in it and they returned it to sender even though I went to the post office twice to pick up the package. I'm so heartbroken... I just hope she is returned safely and then Gem of Doll can ship her safely to me again.....

 

Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry Nothing is more disheartening than having your doll be sent back due to postal incompetence. Sending you all the hope and good wishes that she'll make her way back to you! If Ann can make the journey once, I'm sure she can do so again!

 

Yeah. I'm hoping she'll make it to me safely eventually! But yeah, very disheartening at the moment.

 

WOW. Opalwhisker I am so sorry. How awful. The USPS is so unreliable, it's shocking sometimes.
I've had some really great and effective communication with Gem, myself, so I'm sure they would be very helpful to you if you reached out to them and conveyed the circumstances, letting them know that the package was sent back to them. I hope this gets resolved easily and quickly!!

 

Do you happen to have their earlier body too to compare with? I was wondering if the Windsor body has any shorter neck than the earlier version since at least on my Nymph it feels very long and it kind of bothers me.

 

@digi I don't have the earlier body to compare with. I'm actually interested in getting Spring on the GEM4-G002 body (I sent Alice a message if I could get this still)so a comparison would be nice.

 

I got the new windsor body in soom grey today in the mail. It's an amazing body. I tried to squeeze some slim msd clothes and it did not go well so she's wearing what I have for now until I can find something I like. She has some hips on her. XD

 

How long have your orders taken to ship? Gem of doll told me two months ago that it was supposed to ship in October, and there was a tracking number on the order two weeks ago (though it didn't change from "tracking number assigned") and when I emailed today they told me they would arrange shipment next week

 

I have a Gaia fullset and a Gals fullset and each one took 10 months. Sometimes they print the shipping labels and have to wait for a company to pick it up.

 

I often do layaways thru dealers, so my wait times are extended to about 4 months. HOWEVER, if it's just a base doll with no extra items (like clothes), Gem ships them out pretty fast in about 1,1.5 months. I mostly order their YOSD sizes tho so idk if the size matters at all.

 

I just got the delivery notification that my Luna is here! Though I'm at work Four hours to go until I can open her up!

 

My Tazz has shipped! I'm super happy and surprised at such a quick turnaround - all the stories are true, lol. I only ordered him in August! Oh boy. I ordered him with the jointed hands. I can't wait till he gets here!!

put a post office hold on your mail during your trip, they should hold it for you (if you're in the US?)

Ordered a fullset blushed Adelise and jointed blushed hands a couple weeks ago, I was surprised she still had sets up o.o Hoping she is as quick as everyone else's because she's just so pretty!

 

Finally decided on ordering Osiris human fullset with extra kitty hands.

 

I did the same thing for Andrea! I love her human sculpt but definitely needed to pick up the paws and ears for her!

 

I honestly was wondering why Andrea didn’t get cat ears as well, she’ll be super cute with them!

 

First time ordering from Gem of Doll for me. I ordered Osiris in his beast form with a faceup but minus the outfit. He just looked so cool and I love anthro dolls!

 

First time in this waiting room as well. I ordered the cat version of Andrea full set. I just kept looking at her and waffling on whether or not to buy her...but I think it was meant to be since I kept looking at her.

 

That's how I ended up getting her as well! I kept going back to the page and finally decided to pull the trigger because of how often I kept looking at photos of her.

 

The cat version of Andrea is so pretty. If she's not time limited, I wouldn't mind getting her when I can!

 

Just ordered a fullset human version of Osiris from Alice's. He'll be my first Gem of Doll. Was going back and forth between the beast and human versions and ultimately decided on human with cat ears and tail.

Only just found Gem of Dolls this month but immediately fell in love with their sculpts and artistry with all the details. They are pretty much my current favorite company with like half a dozen dolls on wishlist. ><

 

To anyone who has received their doll and is in the US - what company does Gem of Doll ship with?

 

I ordered an orion fox version with full body blushing and face up early this month, and I am feeling very impatient. I decided to go with mousse white skin, so it wouldn't look exactly like the promo photos. I originally just got the blank doll without the face up, but I decided not to risk my untried skills (have never done a face up before) on such a beautiful doll. I ordered through Alice's collections.

I'm also curious about the gem of doll shipping company if you order directly from them. I am so tempted to order orion in grey resin and try my hand at a face up.

 

I would like to know this too … it has been quite sometime ( like a couple of years) I ordered their dolls and I recently went crazy buying 3 full sets dolls

 

Hello, another newbie here . I ordered my Taurus Olita a little over a month ago (just before the tariffs, haha). No idea when she's coming, but super excited

 

My Adelise ordered Dec 30 is on the way from ACBJD as of 2 days ago!!! ~4.5 months for a fullset, jointed hands, and blushing/faceup is pretty good to me for a mini

 

Just got word this morning that my Beast Osiris has been shipped! About 3.5 months for just Osiris with his faceup isn't bad at all!

 

Just placed an order for the normal windsor body! I have a head I think will look great on it so I'm very excited.

 

My Adelise arrived yesterday!! She is so lovely! Tariff-free to the US through ACBJD made me extra happy

Finally a shipping notice for my fullset human Osiris, just as I was wondering whether or not it was time to ask Alice about it. Anyway, according to the tracking, he was shipped yesterday on 2 July.

My Osiris arrived on Friday (4 July)! I haven't had time to give him a proper unboxing yet. Just had a quick look and everything seems to be there and his faceup and body blushing looks great!

 

My (now second) Orion fox shipped a few days ago from ACBJD (July 4th). Very curious as to how the mousse white with faceup will look compared to the snow white with faceup.
