Hello everyone and Merry Christmas!:
I have a problem that worries me, let's see if someone could advise me... Alice's Collection sent me a package with my White Crow Doll on December 7th, but the tracking page has not had any new records since the 14th from December. Is it normal for the home page to not be updated for more than 10 days or should I think they have lost my package?

 

Hmm that seems very unusual. What shipping service was used?

That's pretty unusual for EMS... They're usually so quick and give plenty of updates!

My best answers would be to either contact EMS directly or speak to Alice's Collection about the problem. I hope everything works out!

 

UPDATE: Got the shipping notification. Ordered MID to LATE October, not early, sorry for the brain fail earlier, on October 18th, Alice’s shipped it out on the 25th of December. Fullset. Label was created on the 23rd, and I ordered a bunch of other stuff from Alice. So all in all, my fullset order took ~ 2 months, which is amazingly fast, especially given the holidays and the fact that the Gem website gave an estimate of 3-4 months for human Murch, whom they don’t keep in stock. Estimated delivery is the 3rd, via FedEx, to the USA, which isn’t bad. My estimate of around New Year was spot on, assuming no delays to shipment.

 

Problem solved: after 2 weeks without news of my shipment, the tracking page has finally been updated and tells me that the package has been classified at the logistics center (I suppose in my country...). I will continue waiting, but now much calmer.

I’m so glad to hear the tracking started moving again! It’s so stressful when we buy something expensive like these dolls and suddenly… tracking stops working.

Thank you so much! I'll write to you as soon as I get it! Today I just received the head of Yue Jian, from DF-H, so I'm very happy. The funny thing is that Alice's Collection sent it to me 15 days after it sent it to my Wally and it arrived earlier. Maybe it's because of the size of the package? Now Wally is in customs... I hope they release him soon... These are my first two purchases from Alice's Collections.

 

Update, he arrived on the 29th of December, after shipping out on the 25th. He was delivered to the wrong address, (thanks, FedEx), but fortunately, my neighbor is a good person, so he came home to me. His fullset, faceup, etc., is flawless and gorgeous. I can’t wait to move back into my room so all my crew can move back into their shelves and be out and about.

My White Crow Wall finally arrived from Alice's Collections!! :bailar I ordered it on November 6, Alice's Collections sent it to me on December 7 and it arrived at my door on January 2 (although no one was home and I can't get it until yesterday, January 3). It all happened so quickly that it's hard to believe, I'm very happy.

 

Hey! I just put Ares fullset (ram leg) on layaway! I'm super stoked and cannot wait to get her when she's paid off! I really regretted being unable to get her the first time so I'm very happy. Will post updates periodically.

 

GEM has a wonderful Dolls. That's why I added what I own to the list.
However, I am not waiting for any at the moment, but I believe that I will order some more from this company in the future.

I have a question, although I don't know if this is the right forum to ask it: I just created an account on flickrd where I am uploading photos of White Crow Wall and my others dolls, but I don't know how to share those photographs on the forums. The only photo that I have managed to share is one that I had in pinteless of my pukifee and that, I don't know how, I managed to link it to his profile file. Can anyone tell me how to share flickrd photos on forums?

 

I don't know if it will help, but I usually asked GEM for some modification on the body or a change in the face and so on. After about 2 months, I finally had the doll at home. So I think it could be a similar time or slightly longer. ^^

 

Does anyone happen to know the shipping times for outfits? I bought one during the sale last month and forgot to look at what the turnaround time might be for just an outfit.

 

When I bought Beth's outfit it was around 2 months of waiting time. The Sunny outfit that I also bought prior was around 3 months, though this was through a layaway payment with LegendDoll. So my guess would be 2-3 months if it's JUST the outfit. I'm not sure if it'll take longer should you add any extras like shoes or a wig.

I purchased an outfit and wig during the black friday sale on November 27th and it was shipped on December 8th. It was the Natasha outfit/wig. Maybe they had one in stock though? Hopefully they ship it soon!

I’m waiting for one of the new biscuit bears (specifically Bobo). She will be my first Gem of Doll, my first antro, and my first true 1/6 scale doll.

 

This type of doll isn't usually my aesthetic, but I decided to get a Coraline (one of the Pisces mermaids) in a transparent orange-tail color. I did have to pay more for the color change, but I saw one of their photos and I preferred it over the default tail.

 

My Litidu got shipped. I am looking forward to him getting here.
He has the perfect look for the character Liam in my photo comic.
I just remembered that I forgot to buy him shoes...

I ordered the beast version of Carlos not even a month ago on March 4, and I already got a shipping notification from Alice’s Collections that he shipped! Wow, I think that’s the fastest I’ve ever had a doll made before!

 

Forgot to post, but ordered the Gaia SP fullset on Mar 8 direct. I was told by the CSR that construction period is 3~4m.

Just ordered the new 1/4 Luna fullset on layaway today! Also grabbed Adelise's outfit. I couldn't justify getting both, but I have another doll in mind who would look gorgeous in the pink outfit.

 

She arrived today safe and sound! She’s absolutely stunning in person, GEM doesn’t disappoint!

 

I caved and ordered Luna + her outfit on layaway! She's finally gonna be my first msd from Gem, after years of falling for their yosds, haha. It's gonna be a few months til she's home, but I'm already eager for her and started making plans of her character~

 

Waaah I did it, i bought a fullset Ann!! My first BJD I've bought since 2016, and my first 1/4 size doll.... I'm so nervous but excited!! I just couldn't stop coming back to look at her....

 

I just ordered 1/4 Adelise, saw she was on sale on acbjd and she is literally perfect for a character I have in mind. I've been admiring Gem dolls from a far for quite a while, so I'm super excited to finally have one of my own!

 

I'll admit adelise was also tempting, she's so cute!

 

I've bought clothes from Gem before but never a doll, until now. Originally it was Yoly that caught my eye, and I was on the fence about her, but then I saw Beth and I fell in love. The clothes really sell it for me, I haven't found any other doll clothes' maker that fits my taste quite like this company. Anyways, I'm very excited! Fullset through legenddoll, they list the wait as 12-14 weeks. She'll be my first 1/6 size! I might someday try to get Yoly too, because it seems that they should be together, but I'll have to save up more.

My Luna got shipped today! I asked Alice if she'll come with the new windsor body Gem released, and the answer was yes! I'm definitely curious to see how it looks and poses in person~

 

That gives me hope that my Adelise also comes with the new body! I think the new body would suit the character I have in mind so much more than the other body types. I'm glad to see people's orders shipping, I may have to wait longer as I ordered mine with another doll. I will live vicariously through any pictures posted here.

@Dreamverie I think I will be ok with any body overall (since I bought her with the impression she would have a different body), but the new one would just be a really nice surprise! Ordered myself a Tazz fullset in the mousse white as well as a pair of those lovely jointed hands yesterday. I was originally just going to look at the jointed hands, haha, but when I saw Tazz - his whole shtick - I was smitten. I don't usually go in for boy dolls, they're often too intense or effeminate or just cute for my taste - but his outright boyishness won my heart. I can hardly wait.

 

I know I'm going to be waiting for my doll for a while longer, but I did also purchase some jointed hands for her today! I'm really excited since it will be my first pair of jointed hands!

 

My Gem Luna is here!! I couldn't wait another day so I picked her up immediately, lol. I spent the past few hours just admiring her and dressing her up n stuff. I'll edit/update this post in a bit with some of her pictures! I just gotta eat first xD

She is so pretty! What a beautiful faceup The new body looks great, if you don't mind me asking, how is her mobility posing wise? Is she able to stand well on her own? She looks so cute with her sister!

 

He arrived a hour ago. It was WAY faster than I expected, less than a month. I’ll definitely be buying more dolls from this company (already got my eyes on that new Polax and Castor duo). I’ll be posting pictures of him tomorrow

 

My doll was supposed to be delivered on Saturday, but I was out of town and the post office said "No Access to delivery spot" ???? I do live in an apartment, but they can get in to deliver packages... I stopped by the post office on my way back into town today to see if they had the package, but they didn't, so now i'm super worried because idk where the package is... and i have to go back to work tomorrow, so I won't be around to sign for a package if I need to... augh i'm so worried...

 

Oh no! Was there any kind of paper slip left? I have had a delivery not be delivered because of the same reason and they left a slip of paper instead. If you have a tracking number, maybe you can still check where your doll is. I hope you are able to get them soon and safely.
