Ended up ordering Capricorn on layaway through Divas, since she's the perfect sculpt for a character I wanted to shell!

 

Ordered Ho Chily full set yesterday, fortunately through ACBJD, and I am glad I ordered through them, since it seems like it would be difficult to contact them directly. I am really excited. They estimated five months, but a few people on here have said it has been only three or four lately. Crossing my fingers.

 

Oh holy heck! I ordered a fullset gladys (with some extras) in early september and Alice's just let me know that they shipped it out. It took just a little over 2 months--That's kinda nuts!

 

Oh wow! So fast! I am crossing my fingers about mine being fast, but I probably won’t get it for a long time because of the holidays.

 

Aaaand my Gladys came! Everything was fine! The short shipping time made me really paranoid. Alice's also shipped with SF express so it took less than a week to get here. I was perched by my window with my laptop, compulesively refreshing the tracking page and keeping an eye out for the deliver all morning. Of course, my package was delivered as soon as I went to the washroom.

They know, I swear.

I hope yours beats the rush. Considering it took them only 2 months for mine when I got fullset/faceup/bodyblushing (and alice's quoted 3-5 months), I hope that's a good sign for you!

 

That is so fast! Mine is also a full set. I don’t remember if she has body blushing or not, but she does come with a face up. GoD has her in stock on their website so I am kicking myself a bit for ordering from Alice’s Collection instead of direct, haha. I have only found one girl on Instagram who’s bought the same doll as me. It is making me feel really excited and also impatient, since I don’t have many examples of how she looks when they receive her, haha! I will probably post a box opening so that other people who are interested can see her in her full glory.

Ho Chily arrived today!!! Less than a month after ordering her! I didn’t get a shipping notice or anything, she was just here when I awoke. *A*

I will post a box opening/review of her later, since there isn’t much about Ho Chily from actual owners online. I was given a five month wait time quote and received her within one! GoD is doing great with their wait times this year.

 

I made my order in late September and now I'm already getting impatient because everyone got theirs so quickly. I'm really impressed with gem of doll's speed.

 

I ordered my in-stock Gladys a few days ago. I hope she arrives safely with the christmas+corona insanity going on right now. ><' Kinda curious how long they take for an in-stock item to be shipped. Heard a lot of horror stories. I'm pretty nervous. ^^'

I ordered and paid in full a Fumble Winter Yuka fullset so not sure if she will take longer because of that but I’m excited

I don't know if I'm in the right place, since I ordered an outfit from Gem of Doll through a Dealer and no doll.
But I'm still excited for it to arrive. I kind of just discovered Gem of Doll, shame on me, they have such gorgeous clothing, basically the right style I've been looking for since years.
I hope everyone's dolls will arrive safe and sound.

 

Update: My In-Stock Gladys arrived this morning!
They needed 2 weeks to finally ship her.
I bought her: 23, dec
She got shipped: 7. jan
She Arrived 11. jan
Gladys was shipped with DHL to germany. I got no custom taxes, so that might also be a reason for the fast shipping. Otherwise she probably would've arrived 2-3 days later. ^^

 

I just bought my first doll! a Gem of Doll Fimbulwinter Gals in grey skin fullset and I can't wait!! Got him through a dealer paid in full with a credit card so I will update when stuff happens. I also have my eyes on a Gaia..mayb eif there are any left once I pay off my cc lol

 

Anyone know what the wait time is for Gem of Dolls at the moment? I ordered Capricorn back in October through BJDivas, and was wondering about how much longer it might take.

 

A friend of mine ordered a WS Gaia fullset / full paint. She was ordered April 18th, 2020 on layaway to a proxy site, paid off in full on Oct 20th, 2020 and received Jan 27th 2021

 

Thanks for the info! I guess I'll just have to keep being patient, hopefully she'll hurry up and arrive soon! She's blank, so allegedly she should be faster, right? I saw a Capricorn in the marketplace the other day, so it made me a bit overeager.

 

I feel like yours should probably ship soon then. 6 months is apparently about right from what I am seeing on the book of faces.

Of course we don't know how many people ordered dolls with their newer releases. Either way I hope she arrives soon! I am only on month 2 of my wait for gals!!

My package has been severely damaged in transit (heavy water damage, the packaging is destroyed and some CoA are damaged, got mold on the cushions as well) but the 3 dolls are fine.

 

Oh my gosh that is so scary!!! Glad the dolls are okay but mold!!! I would put everything in a giant bag of rice

 

I checked all the hooks and the elastics on the dolls, I got lucky! But I got rid of the cushions, all the packaging, and I'm trying to dry the CoAs

 

They are all so cute!!! Such amazong detail on the clothing.

Argh I am so impatient for my first bjd i bought some second hand dolls in the meantime lol

 

I ordered a full-set Shinsa directly through their site on January 21, and she arrived today

 

I asked BJDivas to see about my fullset Gals and they said Gem Of Doll said 1 more month!

 

After admiring her for ages, I finally broke down and ordered a fullset Gaia. She'll be my first 1/3 doll.

 

Still waiting on my blank Capricorn, ordered back in October. BJDivas told me that she was being included in Gem's next shipment when I last spoke to them, but still no word.

 

I am on month 4 today for my fullset gals. I was quoted 4 but we will see how much longer it is.

 

I am waiting for a fullset Block since February. Ordered her and a fullset Yanny from an European dealer. Yanny got to my dealer fast, but Block is still in production they told her…

 

Just got word from Alice Collections that the two dolls I ordered late June are already ready to be shipped!! I could do cartwheels!

Yes, just a few posts above...! I was...also shocked! Though I didn't order fullsets or anything. Still, I was thinking November, earliest! But I had put in another clothes order on ACBJD and asked them to ship any ready items from that first order with it, & they said the dolls were already ready and could ship early next week! They were actually just waiting on some other clothes in the order still but I told them to go ahead...! I hope shipping delays aren't too bad through EMS right now ><!

 

My Gaia fullset is shipped, apparently.... only a one month wait!? What is this sorcery??

Yeah, so strange...WILDLY different, too! I'm guessing it depends on the doll, and maybe they have some things in stock, or can get things in stock more easily than others? Like, I know the 1/3 doll I ordered was supposed to be an anniversary doll from 2020, so maybe they have a bunch of her made already and she just didn't sell that well...I can't find anyone posting her on social media, ha.

 

I ordered the full set for Gals and Yuka in November on a long layaway. Hopefully they’ll get here before I finish it.

 

My 1/3 and 1/6 doll arrived today after about a 7 week wait time. They're my first dolls ordered fresh from a company so I'm very excited~ Still waiting on some of their clothes to come in but here they are so far!:

 

Ordered my very first doll today, so I'm officially joining the waiting room! It's a nude Brock with face up and jointed hands. I guess now I have time to look for wigs, clothes, shoes...

 

Month 9, still waiting on my blank Capricorn. Still vaguely mystified by the whole thing, since Gem's waiting times aren't normally this long.

On the bright side, I've gotten good enough at face ups that I'm confident doing hers when (if?) she arrives.

 

Has anyone ordered Puff, especially in tan? I'm really tempted to order one but I'm having a hard time finding any owner photos. I'm thinking of getting one in tan, but I'm afraid to do that without seeing real life photos.

 

Welp, I did it. I spent way too much. Only 4 days of waiting though- she's due Friday. Full set Ymir, MIB. I'm nervous!

Added another week to wait. Ugg.

Monday - just 3 more days! Must clean the the house for her photo shoot, lol!

Arrived today so just over 7 months by 1 day to wait for a fully painted fullset.

 

The pinnacle of this whole affair will be if the Gem of Doll shipment arrives and my doll isn't actually in there like promised. Still nothing.

Divas, who I usually have good luck with. Apparently at one point, the wrong doll was sent in the box that was supposed to contain mine, plus overseas shipping is super slow at the moment. I'm just impatient at this point.

Last time through ACBJD for me was rather quick (2-3 months), during the an event to boot, so I'm feeling optimistic.

 

I ordered a blank Capricorn in white skin from New Cover Singing, despite Magnus Vale's scary wait time...
Hoping for the best! They had the doll at a discount for 226$ which is less than Alice's so I figured it was worth it.

 

Honestly, I love NCS, they've been great for me. And I've gotten a few things earlier too.
Still waiting, though, on month 14 in a few days. Hope you get yours sooner than me, I've seen other people get theirs!

It certainly was, but I'm excited to have her home! I've paid the shipping, now I'm just waiting for her to be sent out. I'm really looking forward to doing her face up and getting her all styled up!

Issues aside, I may also have been tempted by the new boy Chris.

 

My Capricorn has shipped! I waited a little bit less than a month. That was quick! Will edit the waitlist later when I'm on a desktop.

 

Wow so impressive! I'm jealous! I hope my order is ready soon.
