Not sure if you may be interested but Bonelace on IG is creating a VERY BIG sis that potentially COULD fit FHSH heads (the doll is created around a LUTS GSD head).

 

That doll is going to be so dangerous to my wallet when she releases. I’ve been in love with that body design for at least a year now…

 

@Chameleon ikr? That doll is incredible! Not sure would look good with a N.rei but because she is massive and he looks so delicate XD

 

Oh wow so fast. I'm kinda worried thou. I would prefer they give me the tracking since I'm having lots and lots of problems with packages...

I got the heads today and immediately hybrided the grey one with the dollshe ausley love body that I've recently received.

Ok, the hybrid failed because the neck is too small but shoulders-wise is not too bad.

 

I just found her heads I really like a tan S.Rei hopefully she eventually sells him again!

 

Anyone here owns a Noel? With what body did you hybrid him with?

 

Hybriding noel is really tricky because he doesn't really have a... neck hole? I wrote up a whole post about this and then forgot to post it, so here are some corresponding images, but I don't remember what I was going to say about it:

One head I'm working with is noel, the other is n.rei, who has the same problem to a lesser extent. The bodies here are granado vigor with modded neck, dlace ex machina 1.0 (with the robot stomach), and dollshe 28m (with the silicon nubs), and dollshe 35s (the last ones) As you can see, even the necks that fit really... don't.... so i'm also interested in the answer to this

 

Man, thanks so much for all your work trying these out and taking these pictures. Do all r dean heads have this sort of shallow rest? Theres for sure no way itd sit on any neck without gaps being visible. That's really curious.

 

Woah! Thank you so much for those! I was planning on trying him with an adagio75, but seeing those picture make me go "mhm" and I think twice now about buying the body I wanted. I won the lottery for the noel boy but also bought a head, thinking I wont win the lottery lololol.
I saw Rdean uses mostly soom, and HID bodies.
I wished I wouldnt need to find those, becauae they arent readily available to buy.

Not sure if anyone finds this useful, but my Len head (beige) came in the other day! Thought I would take a couple pictures with some spare eyes i had around for reference.

I REALLY love the sculpt, the nose is a great feature.

What size of eyes suits best for S. Rei?

 

On what body is your noel?

 

If there's similarities with the other sculpts, 14mm generally work. I found 12mm give gaps at the edges. Smaller pupils work well, but thats up to style choice!

 

I finally got my tan S.Rei, Xianyu coming through for the win!! Should be shipping soon from my agent. Now to find bodies. I really do like SoSD but they arent doing tawny in the new order in Dec and might prove difficult to buy second hand plus I want jointed long nail hands. I am considering Telesthesia in light tan or DF-H resin matched as they both offer long nail jointed hands.

 

Please post your S.Rei's once they get to you everyone ♡♡♡ He's such a good-looking sculpt!

I'm personally holding out for that recently announced regular Rei re-release ^-^ Also hoping that there will be another chance to pick up Len and/or Noel in the future ×.×

 

Hello all! Joining this thread. I tried searching for a waiting room, but it doesn't seem like there is enough volume to warrant two threads. I ordered Adan at the end of May, and I am hoping to get a shipping notice soon-ish. Did anyone else order him?

He might be the smallest head meant for the 13cm neck based on comparison photos. I'm hoping I can hybrid him successfully. Thank you @Grimalkin for all your comparison photos!

Rei2022 looks tempting! @Sasha of the Crows , are you going to get him? Maybe I'll just enter the lottery for the OOAK white one, and not be too fussed when I don't win.

 

I found out that I'm just in love with the default faceup Rdean announced for Rei2022 head. I already have the nRei in Grey but that didn't stop me from buying this one too ^__^
It seems that Rei is my favorite Rdean head after all...

 

Looking forward to the re-release announcement for either Noel and Yani! Kinda want a elf/ vampire ver. of them too hahaha. Looking forward to rdena’s new sculpts too! Super excited when she announced plans for re-releases!

 

@Seyzar - Rei is such a lovely sculpt. I flirted with the idea of getting him, but am going to have to live vicariously through others.

@RenaBJD - Are you hoping for the 75cm tall / 13cm neck version or the 65-70cm / 11 cm neck version? I'm trying to avoid going larger than 71cm for my collection, but so many pretty sculpts tempt me!

I just got my shipping confirmation and tracking for my Adan head! Maybe he'll be home sometime next week if customs is relatively uneventful. I'm hoping the body I have planned for him works out. This is my first R.Dean sculpt, so I'm very excited~

 

@VeraLyne Congrats! I’m sure he will be wonderful! And yeah, I’m hoping for the 13cm neck circumference.

The body I had planned for him hybrids really well... except he now has competition for it, so I might need to find another one. Such is life...

@Grimalkin - Yes! It's probably may favorite male body in this size (70cm). I have a self imposed rule to not exceed 70 cm. I don't want to dip into the 75+ cm territory as we're approaching the 1:2.5 scale at that point. Unfortunately it's not a body that is easily acquired for this hybrid.

Ive really appreciated the number of pics @Grimalkin and others have shared, it makes figuring out a body a lot easier.

oh these are amazing! Thanks so much! I find 75s are just a bit TOO big for me and i really appreciate seeing 70cm bodies.
