Fulled Heaven x Sealed Heaven R.Dean

I ordered a Tian in tawny, so I'm looking forward to having to deal with finding him a body. lol

 

He looks great! I ordered a Tian in Grey and the body hunt will be interesting. I was thinking about getting a Granado body for him, but the grey skin they offer looks more purple tinted. Otherwise I would just like an EID body. The hard part about finding a body seems to be the girth of the neck. I really don't want a floppy neck or to have to modify a body.

~I just found out Granado offers resin matching if you send them a sample for $80-$100 more, so that body might be real possibility

 

I just got email from R.Dean verifying my address was still correct, and stating that Tian should be shipping within two weeks.

 

I got notice that my head shipped. Now to completely forget about.

Also, it looks like her new head Chi, is going on sale in September.

 

I just got my Tian yesterday, and I absolutely adore him! I think he looks better in person, so I know he's a keeper. I'm really interested in her new head too.

Yeah, I held off on ordering a body because I wanted to get a better idea of what tone the tan will come in. But, I am interested in this Telesthesia/Dragondoll body, Doll Parts, Telesthesia - BJD, BJD Doll, Ball Jointed Dolls - Alice's Collections.

 

Yeah, I've seen some Soom tawny that just looked like a dark normal color, and some that looked more tan. Sooms resin colors in general tend to be all over the place though.

 

I'm also excited to get a white FHSH Tian, it's gorgeous .. I think the TD-75cm body can work pretty well. What do you think?

 

New Rei is gorgeous. I wonder if she’ll release the Old Rei again. I like the teeth!

 

Agreed! I'd like to see the new Rei in proportion to the whole ID75 body in her pictures. It seems like such a big difference. I have the old Rei head and I wonder what the difference looks like next to each other, on similar bodies with wigs and faceups. Old Rei really looks a lot bigger than New Rei!

I also would like to see more FSHS sculpts in general! I guess they're still pretty new brand. She mentioned she was thinking of doing a sleepy eyed Tian, so that would be super interesting.

The new Rei is small enough I might just give in Has anyone seen any photos of the tan? Trying to decide between beige and tan right now.

 

@Dei Their tan is a light tan that has a beige undertone. Similar to a light caramel color.

Aaand I got him thank you everyone for the help with the colour! I chose tawny and now have three months to figure out a body for him. I'm excited that he's so much smaller than the first Rei, hopefully he'll fit right in with the rest of the crew!

 

My Tian in white skin on TD75 body in white skin. There is a need to unify the skins. But the body has good proportions and neck.

 

I'm excited about how wonderful my idea came out. Tang Tian gave me new vigor.

My n.rei is here!!! Here is a resin comparison with assorted things in the same spectrum. Note these are all aged whites. I doubt he will stay this paper white, since they never do

Ps: if anyone is nuts like me and doesn't want to break the seal on the box* or coa sleeve, you can open the box from the bottom very easily, and slide out the coa without opening the sleeve

*not that I dont love the irony of breaking a seal that says "fulled heaven x sealed heaven"

First, n.rei (white) on dollshe 70cm 28m (oriental) (straight on) (not straight on)

The fit is pretty good! In my mind, with a small head, this body becomes "huge hulk man," but with a head like this, it's more "meaty reasonable dude".

I can also put an iplehouse EID leonard head on the body for a similar look; n.rei vs iplehouse EID Leonard top and front... the problem with iplehouse (as a point of comparison) is that not all heads have the same face proportions, despite being the same (or not, sometimes) size. In the above resin comparison shot, that head is SID Felix which doesn't suit the 28m imo, but my SID Edan is one of my favorite heads for this body, especially with a wig and non-mugshot posing (for the record, here is n.rei in the same wig and pose)

Would be a perfect fit with just a smidge smaller neck, but I dont think it un unreasonable at all say this fit is "good". The neck might be a bit long for some, but thats not too uncommon with 28m hybrids, as it does have a long neck. As a note, this neck has a metal support where the s hook rests (when there's no head) and cannot be shortened (without some major to-do)

I really don't think you can go any shorter than 70cm for this head, proportionally, and you'd need shoulders wider than 15cm (shown here)

That said, I feel like this isn't unsalvageable if the doll was smartly dressed, but I won't be putting this head back on this body unless its by request. The aforementioned Sid Felix is the head that lives on this body, and IMO you can't ask for a better proportion or resin match

The last thing i have in this size (apart from a speciality body, who is unlikely to ever have its head split from it) is a 75cm granado vigor in white excuse his stick hand, my life is not together

I received my Noel today. I love the Noel head! Absolutely gorgeous. Has anyone else receive their Noel yet?

 

I expect to receive his head from day to day, it has already cleared customs!

 

Her orders for the elf Rei opened! Such a stunning head.

 

I didn't even recognize him as a rei, for some reason! I thought it was a different face! How interesting. I love her elf ear sculpting, but I havent even done anything with my n.rei yet if it were the bigger version of the rei head, then...... maybe.....

I also got a noel! I like him a lot! Not done anything with him either, though, of course. Maybe while I'm off for the holiday break!

 

What do you think of the DT 18 yo body, DFH 72 cm (v 2) or the Miracle Doll 72 cm muscle body for a N.rei head? Are they too small?

The 72 size bodies might be a bit too small, but the DT 18yr boy body might work! I also saw a Rei with the DF-H 75 body on Instagram that looked amazing!!

 

I own nothing that makes sense for n rei, but hopefully these bodies can provide some approximate point of reference. Unfortunately, the way doll companies measure things is ALL over the place (especially shoulder, I've found) so this really only throws more numbers into the void

Nothing ever fits the granado, so no shock there, but it looks like it actually would kinda work, if you modded the neck beyond all recognition? but I was surprised it actually almost suits the 28m, if the neck weren't a mile long, too (common problem). Iirc, the granado and 35s are advertised as 75cm bodies, the April Story a 65ish, and the 28m a 70cm

So, if I had to grab a guess, I'd say no shorter than 70cm (full height), shoulders no less broad than 15cm, though wider may be better? But the proportions of any given individual body can really make or break it, too...

 

@Chikku My problem is that I don't like beefy or muscolar dolls, so I'm looking for slim alternatives. Yeah, the miracle doll is muscolar, but the normal 72 cm has such weird legs

@Xila Thank you so much for the pictures! I don't mind how the head looks on the 11 cm neck tbh, but I think the 15 cm shoulders width may be too small (or at at at least, in that picture the head looks huge to me).

I think I will buy the S.Rei anyway and I'm SO tempted to buy it in grey but then I would have to buy every male head I want also in grey... (I already have so many dolls...) Decisions, decisions...

 

I caved on S.Rei… I’d love to see your pics on the dollstown bodies in particular, Grimalkin—I was really hoping he could fit on a body that’s not 75cm (though the DFH Chikku mentioned also looked promising!)

Meanwhile I went all out and purchased 2 S.Rei heads: one in grey and one in white. I was very conflicted and time was running out!

Also maybe you guys already knew but there is this company that re-released their 70 cm slim body and they also do resin matches with some companies like Volks, Soom and Switch.

Thank you so much! Glad I saw that before I grabbed him a a body! Like you say the 18 looked like it could work, with a bit of cheating for 1.0, and it worked-ish for n.Rei I thought, but with his head turned, somehow it still felt off to me.

I think I’m just accepting that Rei gets to be tall now ahah.

 

Yeah, shoulders-wise I think DT18 is perfect for N.rei but neck looks too slim, right?
