Hello everyone! I made a simple trouser pattern for 45cm / MSD boys (and girls, too). The trousers close in the back and are made without a separate waistband. It's available as a free download hosted on my website: Download here. Please print the PDF at 100% scaling on 8.5" x 11" paper to get the full size pattern. Basic text instructions are included in the PDF file. Here is what the finished item looks like, modeled on a DZ type 1 boy body: Happy sewing!
Thank you so much for sharing these! It's extra awesome that they're long enough for the DZ body, since my girl needs some pants that actually cover her ankles.
Please, when created patterns, not always all the printers have the same setting... many times I 've tried to print patterns that says to print at 100% and always come out in the wrong size... also scaling don't work... and often are 'automatically scaled' due to margins etc... I suggest always to add a simple 1 " x 1" square on the pattern so that when it's printed, it always have that reference that is the best... or also add a ruler below the page...
No, the PDF file will print at the correct size, regardless of your printer. This is a main function of the PDF file type and software. Just make sure you verify the print settings in Adobe Acrobat Reader are to print at the correct size.
Very excited to try this out, thank you! Do you make any kind of modifications to the pattern when sewing for girls (if you have)? I'm concerned that the hips would be too snug...
Oooh, lovely! These are perfect for my Resinsoul boy! And I noticed on your site that you have one for the 47cm Akagi Doll body, so my Ban will be able to have pants too! Thank you so incredibly much, I'm totally new to sewing and your patterns will make sure my boys don't go pantsless, lol
