I saw that Foveo will be selling Gella in SD size this month. I can't wait!

I was hoping to get her in white skin, but are there any known matches out there?

Me too! I bought her in MSD size when she came out but I wished she had been SD.. now I'm really excited to have her in SD! xD I also think she would make an adorable boy?

 

Yeah, it seems like a pretty versatile sculpt! I don't know exactly what I will do with her yet, but now that I know she'll soon be released I can start planning

 

Any suggestions for girl bodies that will match Foveo's normal and white skin?
I'm still unsure about what color I want to get her in. I think she will look great in both, but ultimately it will probably come down to the best resin match. Mismatched hybrids are a pet peeve of mine, so I would like to get the closest match possible. I know it is said that Volks is good, but I really don't like their bodies

I took a photo for you. I have a WS Foveo Vincent. I don't have any perfect matches to his resin in my collection, but Light Limner is pretty close. Hope it helps. (The photo is taken on white computer paper, for reference. I didn't edit the color, so it is probably a little dark.)



If Volks NS is a match, that leaves you with more options because more companies match their resins to Volks NS. Switch, for instance has a lovely girl body. ^__^

@poochiness : Congrats! I so badly want her but just underwent surgery and the medical bills are outstanding! No doll buying for a while... plus I have a layaway. I sincerely hope FOVEO will do another pre-order for her again because there is something so beautiful about the sculpt. I hope you'll share your beautiful girl!!! White skin has been my go to for her beautiful dolls. Can't wait to see her in owner pictures!

Went for a more gender neural faceup, but I'm thankful for his faceup artist because she painted his face so well

Today I took a photo of Caspar just to enjoy how pretty he is. Hehe.
I put some new eyes in him and I'm trying to decide if he'll keep them.



Anyway...also, I just realized I don't think I've seen owner photos of Dante yet! I'm super curious to see him now. I'll have to do some hunting.

@inky_doric: Love your Vincent!!! Especially how the artist painted the mouth. They made the lips and teeth so well defined!

@Lady Ravenswood : I think the new eyes look great in Caspar. In fact it really makes his eyes look larger. Plus the color goes very nicely with the aqua/teal in his outfit.

I have a Dante boy who's finally been painted, but I need to do some nicer photos of him (Here he is just head and face). ^^;

@nakitama thank you! In the pic he is on a Peakswood boy body. But he does have a big head so I would have to go up a size to a 65cm body to be more accurate with proportions. The resin match is great though. But right now I'm looking for a girl body to put him on instead.

@nakitama I was thinking the new supidadoll 65 double jointed body or dollstown 17 girl body. Something with a wide shoulder measurement to balance the head. What are you thinking of getting for your head?

 

@KiwiNinamori those are two of my fave girl bodies! I was thinking of doing the Dollstown 17yr boy body myself. Do you know which DT resin color matches Foveo best? It's hard to tell from photos alone...

 

@nakitama I think the oriental skin would be best for Foveo normal and their fresh skin for the white foveo resin.

Hhhhhgh Midnight Gella.B looks so beautiful! I have the standard Gella.B head and I gotta say, seeing the sleepy version makes me really tempted to give her a twin!

 

I bit the bullet and ordered a Vincent head in antique coral! I was so tempted by Midnight Gella B, but I decided to take it one head at a time and Vincent has been on my mind for ages so he gets to come home first. So excited!

I have to bump this but I wanted to say, I LOOOOVE new Debussy head and I'm so sad I can't even start layaway rn! TUT So gorgeous, I would do a girl out of him... Definitely on my wishlist. But does anyone know, how the preorders works? I mean when can I expect next one and are head molds one time limited or I can be sure Debussy will be here again?

I'm not sure there is a set schedule, but past sculpts have come back for sale from Foveo after some time, so I'd imagine that Debussy will be for sale again. I hope you can get one in the future!

 

I'm not sure if I love Debussy's sculpt, the name "Debussy," or a dangerous combination of the two?

 

Hehe, I know how you feel. In addition to loving Foveo and dreamy eyed sculpts...one of her stylings reminds me so much of Victor Nikiforov (the silver hair and trench coat) who I adore so...I saw the teaser and was like

 

Oh, the ice skating anime right, I wonder if that's what they were going for? And maybe the brown-haired one is Edward from Twilight. Didn't he like Debussy in the movie? Did I just embarrass myself?

I've just discovered Foveo because of the Debussy release but looking back at their past sculpts I am loving Vincent and Midnight Grella too. I'm definitely a fan! ...Apparently I also love dreamy-eyed sculpts (side eyes avatar).

 

I love dreamy eyed sculpts too! Personally I love that Debussy head for the eyes and that beautiful nose. I really hope I'll be able to order it when it'll be available next time ❤️

Ah, I can't be off too much help there as when I ordered my Vincent he was a last one in stock kind of situation, instead of a pre-order. I hope someone else can help.

 

In case anyone is curious, my Debussy head just shipped. A two month wait is pretty unheard of in this hobby!

hello! i bought a foveo pie head in antique coral recently. i heard the colour is similar to volks ns, wondering if anyhow have any photos for comparison?

It’s a boy head and they are usually huge so I was thinking supia65 or feeple65. What’s the neck hole size for Vincent?

Does maskcat normal resin have any similarity to Foveo's Antique Coral?

 

I just ordered Greta and Gella, so I'm piggybacking on the question of does anyone know what salmon white matches? I so wanted to get a tan one but I thought it would be a nightmare to match tan resin when they don't offer any comparisons at all on the site haha

 

I actually finally found out salmon white matches mia white and luts white quite closely so I'm getting her a mia white body
