Looks quite pretty! This is the "Vincent" mold right? I see they have another, more childlike/girlish looking head too, but it seems to be a work in progress. Kind of wish their site/blog was a little easier to navigate, it took me a while to find more pictures of the doll.

Never heard of this company before, thanks for introducing it.

I should receive my Vincent head next month, since I put them on layaway. I got one for me and my girlfriend. My doll will be female while hers will be male. Both will be in WS. I'm already very excited. ^^)
Gella looks very cute too, I'm tempted to get her. Too bad she's an MSD though...

(By the way, Samieru is incredibly kind. Just wanted to throw that out there!)

 

I know not many ordered Vincent on DOA, but I still feel compelled to share my Vincent so Samieru will continue to create beautiful dolls for overseas customers. I missed Gella and couldn't really afford a new doll anyway, but I'm gonna put some money away in case Samieru comes out with another lovely SD head.

Anyway, here's Elwood all painted. He's hybridized on a LUTS Senior Delf Boy body in White skin. An imperfect match, but very very close.

@oninochi : Thank you so much! I didn't expect him to look as dark as does but I think it works well on him. I'm dying to see this sculpt as a female though. I think that versatility is desirable in a sculpt. Please share her when you do. I get excited when I see others took a chance on this lovely head. ^_^

 

@oninochi : Ohhh she'll definitely have a dark vibe as well. I think the sculpt will work spectacularly with your concept. Very risque but has some vulnerability to her. Can't wait to see the final product!

 

@oninochi :I agree! It's a feminine sculpt but definitely a more mature type of feminine. Can't wait to see her as a girl. I suppose I even painted mine feminine enough to mess around on bodies if I ever wanted to... but I quite like him as a boy. That wig is going to look very lovely on her. I love custom wigs! I got lucky that one of my other fullset dolls that arrived some time ago came with a wig that was perfect for my Vincent.

I wonder if anyone got Gella... I'm more of an SD fan myself, but she was a cute droopy eyed head as well.

He's still blank but he confiscated the body from another doll of mine and eyes from yet another and he's apparently never giving them back because he's sooooo beautiful that he gets to keep them for ever and ever.

I haven't had the chance to give my Vincent a faceup yet either. I had worked it out so that I could work on the faceup over labor day weekend...and then I got the flu.
Oh well. I'll get another chance at some point. Honestly, I'm just enjoying looking at his beautiful blank face! Hehe. I've named him Hermes. He'll be a Prince of Serpents.

 

*revives the thread* Hello! I actually received my FOVEO Vincent head some time ago He doesn't have a faceup OR body yet, but he'll be getting his body by the end of this year! He's in NS too

Here he is with my first doll, Quinlan~! (hope it's okay if there's a non-FOVEO doll here hhh)



His name is Toshi! And he'll be my first SD, so I'm really, really excited! Hoping to see more FOVEO dolls here!

Can't wait to see her complete though! I kinda wish I could see and meet in person every owner of a Vincent because I loooove how different everyone's Vincent is to another

Oh, goodness, thank you! Hehe. Caspar is a very pretty boy so I decided to just have fun with his face.

Haha, and he decided he wanted to be called Caspar instead of Hermes...which is a bit silly because he still has the the character of Hermes...a minor god of messages, luxury, and serpents...but I guess he's named Caspar.

Ok, any thoughts on blonde Caspar?

Hello, it's me again I had this weird thought when I was ordering Vincent- what does he look like in different wigs? Well, it's not that weird, but I realized how nice it would be to have like a small database of how a Vincent sculpt looks like with different wigs, and I don't see any here on DoA. SO... I kind of made my own on FLICKR! Idk if this is okay to say here on the threads (I'll delete if it is! sorry omg). It's here though, if anyone wants to look! I'm still waiting for other wigs that I got, but ahh, hopefully it'll be helpful

 

waiting for another preorder period for vincent~ by the way, do you guys know about Toast-Tommyxxx doll? i found its Wyatt looks so alike with vincent!!

 

A wig database is a good idea! Dolls can look so different with a wig change. So far Caspar looks good in blonde and dark brown wigs with his new faceup.

I haven't heard of Toast-Tommyxxx, I'll have to check it out!

ooooo I just googled that company and I think it's the teeth and droopy eyes that make Wyatt look like Vincent! The differences I see is that I think Wyatt has a longer/thinner face compared to Vincent and that Wyatt looks more Western? Not sure but Wyatt is pretty cute too
And also... yes, I'm also waiting for another release of Vincent hahahaha

The funny thing is I've never been really into boy dolls since I've joined the hobby, but Caspar...I can just sit and stare at...he's so pretty.

Well, my plan had been to spoil Caspar with fabulous clothes come next year, but my doll budget kinda is up in the air right now...hopefully I can get him some more snazzy outfits at some point.

I'm gonna surreptitiously bump this up because another order period for Vincent is opening up and I'm so, so tempted... He's gorgeous and would great for one of my characters, but I'm normally not one for impulse buying. But since he'd work so well for Shepard... I'm so torn! All the Vincents here are gorgeous, it just makes me want one even more. But I promised my poor wallet I wouldn't buy any new dolls until I finished the one I just got. Ug, this is kind of a pointless post, but I feel the need to ramble about this gorgeous guy...

 

My Vincent is like the gem of my collection, I would say go for it!!

 

Hm, I think he runs on the larger side of 8-9? I have mine in an Iplehouse 8-9 wig and it's snug, but does fit. He's probably stretched it out just for himself now. Lol.

And oh goodness! Another pre-order! Eep! Is it beyond stupid that I'm dead tempted to buy another one. Ahhh, he's soooo gorgeous though. I'd be happy with a whole collection of Vincents.

Haha, guess that puts me in the "go for it" camp.

I am here to join the club of "obsession with twin Vincents". I ordered mine in WS and the allure of having a NS companion is nipping away at me.

Do you guys have any more pics of Vincent? I'd like to see some different style. Lady Ravenswood, I LOVE your boy Casper. The costume and paint job is very cool.

Well... I didn't order Vincent in the most recent pre-order, and now I'm kind of regretting it. He really was perfect for this character... Does anyone have any Vincent pictures to ease my not-buyer's remorse? (Or make it worse...? )

 

Okay, I'm double-posting which is kind of crappy but oh well. I was wondering if anyone has the actual neck measurement for Vincent, because I can't find it anywhere! The website is kind of hard to navigate, but I'm pretty sure I've looked at every Vincent-related page and can't find an actual cm value. I'd like to start looking for bodies for Shep (the character for when I eventually get a Vincent), but I'm not sure where to start without that measurement!

 

I don't have a neck measurement but I have him on a spiritdoll elegance body which has a 10cm neck and it works great! I also had him on a resinsoul body which is also 10cm and ot also worked well!

Same here! I really did fall in love with my Vincent head and the quality of her dolls so I'm severely tempted to get this SD boy. The only issue is (like always for me) is I hate having ANOTHER floating head. >_<

 

Dante is really gorgeous! But Vincent captured my heart... It's those teeth! But the Foveo style is really beautiful, I can totally see myself having several of them one day.

 

I just placed my order for a Dante in White Skin again. >_<; I want my Vincent and Dante to look related so thought I would keep the same skintone, even though it's a pain to fine WS bodies.

I agree @KiyoshiSenshi between the two, Vincent is my favorite FOVEO sculpt so far!!! I was hoping Dante would come with teeth, but I really love Dante's nose. I think he will work well for what I have in mind.

FOVEO says they will ship in July, hoping others will buy him!

 

For the female doll lovers, Foveo plans to release an SD size Gella! She has some pics on her Instagram!

@Dybbuk what amazing news! I have wanted Gella for a long time and had planned on buying her next preorder, but I do prefer SDs, so this almost seems like fate. Can't wait!
