    2. What materials are you using? If it’s paint thinning it down with water helps a ton and not make it look so thick. And you just build it with layers
I like the eyebrows and color you chose. great job with your first faceup and keep it up :)

    4. is that I don’t have any Flickr anymore where I can post the link from my dolls before (ex bf was harassed me in Flickr and deviant art too) had to made new account in deviant art.

Aww thanks was using paint and took the tips for making the fine line with water. And found the right paint brush for it too. Also is a bit messy on the lips will retouch it next time

    5. My sympathies. That's a horrible situation to be dealing with.

I just wanted to let you know that not everybody will be able to see your pictures by clicking the link. Only the people who are also on DeviantArt.

    6. well all my accounts are private I only post to deviant art no offense

    7. Fair enough

    8. You can use an image hoster like Imgbb, that's what they are there for. No account needed, cannot be stalked, image will be only visible where you post it. Direct linking from places like Deviantart is not recommended anyway.

Posting here a link that people cannot even see, while telling them "too bad" when they tell you they can't see it kind of kills the purpose of a forum :sweat

    9. You should definitely try watercolor pencils and pastels. It’s easy to work with.i would save for a good brand tho. Good luck with your faceups :)

    13. It sure isn't, I actually got a few materials such as the soft pastels and watercolor pencils I just need the watercolor paint now! Though I could practice blushing for when I actually do my dolls faceup for my character I want to make.
Also heard makeup brushes are good for blushing so I had bought some while nail art brushes are good for things like finer details such as eyebrows and eyelashes.
There is definitely more techniques to learn for sure!

    14. Thats wat I gonna buy for the eyebrows and eyelashes too nail art brushes o and some elastic bands for sewing clothes which I have to make

    15. If you scroll to the bottom, you should see a couple embed codes.
Use the one named BB code, for the full-size preview.

      Tada!

    16. That’s great I think they’re easier to use for beginners. No not really unless you throw the head on the ground it might chip. My dolls have fallen by accident and it’s never happen to me but I have carpet all in my house

    17. thank u for the tip now I can post it and transfer the pics here yay

same here I have carpets thanks god and when ever I about to do face up I use the box fill with bubble wrap inside so it doesn’t get chip si

    18. @rosepetals wait do you mean when your actually doing the faceup you have it the head in the box or do you mean when your sealing. I don’t really think you need to do that. doesn’t it get in the way?But I guess it’s a matter a preference

    19. Nope I use it to carry my doll parts so when I do the face up is easier to take them out to paint and seal it too

    20. no bigs o look I did the male face up too

    23. I should also try sewing some clothes, I'm planning on buying a body that's at least 68cm or at least around 72cm I heard the bigger the doll the harder it is to find clothes to fit ^ ^')

    24. True my is a 75cm tall doll my first male doll in white skin I need to finish adding tattoos on my female dolls then will make some female doll clothes cause for the male I already bought a mystery box depends the amount of random clothes inside

    25. That's nice maybe I can also buy a mystery box for the time being until I can get custom clothes. I still haven't really decided on what body to go for yet.
I was wondering, how do you do the tattoos?

    26. First I spray sealant then I use fake mini tattoos on them and sometimes use water color pencils and paint to follow the lines and color them too then seal the tattoo that u desire

    27. Ah that is amazing I'll be sure to do that if I want some tattoos on anyone one I make. ^ ^)
