This is my first time having a tracking number from Janio (my single blind box Dollection order) and it says there were three unsuccessful parcel pickup attempts made before they actually got it in their system on the fourth try. Is this normal???
@Mamo I dunno... my Dollection order tracking was a bit wonky too, as it said picked up, then nothing, and suddenly it arrived at my door! o_o; I don't know if it's the postal services being unreliable or what. (I'm in the UK, so mine got handed to hermes, who are so unreliable they've rebranded haha)
I've decided to shoot Awa an email because folks who have ordered after me have started to get messages for shipping. I'm a bit Nervus about it because I didn't make an account on the site when I ordered. A bad thing, in hindsight. I like having a place I can check occasionally. Hi everyone! Maybe someone knows more info about author of these dolls? Maybe blog, or something else, where we can find more information about dolls.... I was asking about them being off-topic and now they are considered made from plastic, so they are not on-topic bjds. But my dolls are not from plastic for sure. But I dont know how to proove it.
Hey Vitarja! We know these dolls are resin. There had been speculation of them not being resin due to their low price point. Enough of them are now out there that we can confirm the material. But they're still considered off-topic here on Den of Angels due to two reasons; 1) They haven't been submitted for on-topic status (by either the creator or a dealer). 2) Typically, dolls must not be mass-produced like these appear to be. Criteria for submitting a doll for topicality can be found here. Declaring a doll off-topic is not a negative judgment against the quality of a sculpt or the reputation of a company. You can still discuss off-topic dolls in the appropriate area, such as this discussion thread. Also I personally have tried to research these dolls more in order to get them on-topic here on Den of Angels but have been unable to do so. I cannot find any personal social media of the creator with in progress shots of these dolls being worked on. Only social media for the company that shows the dolls already fully sculpted and ready for preorder. Here is their Weibo. As it stands, we are unable to get these dolls on-topic on Den of Angels unless one of the dealers for them or the creator comes forward with more information.
@Cap'n has covered everything, but in regards to the actual material: are you mistaking the new waves of blind box bjds coming out maybe? Both Clover Singing and My Dollection have been showcasing a lot of PVC blind box BJDs recently, one of these may have been Dividing Line’s newest line (or it might not be! I find myself getting pretty confused at this point). Which is the longer way of saying; some of their BJDs are resin, and some aren’t perhaps! The line this thread was started about are definitely resin though.
Mine has made it from Malaysia to Singapore, and has been sitting at "about to leave the warehouse" for more than three days... at this rate idk if I'll consider ordering from MyDollection in the future, because Janio's shipping service is shaping up to be super disappointing. :/

Yes, I read topic about off-top dolls, and could not find any cons against our dolls, exept may be this one I know it is not negative to be off-top I am just so inspired by them, that I want to share in other forums process and photos, also I bought second one ahahh and ordered another one from garden series So I wish I could share more with the community
@EagleVision1999 Express, which is why i'm so disappointed like what kind of tomfoolery is this lmao, it said "3-10 days" and it's now been fifteen counting the time difference, and my doll hasn't even left the "transit country" (which is also bizarre that it had to go from Malaysia to Singapore and THEN to the US???)
You could always make an account now and if it’s the same email it should have your orders listed. I know I had trouble trying to make an account and finally made one after I ordered and my orders popped up there.
Did anyone else get the full box with free shipping? I am wondering if they will even email me when they ship since I won't need to pick the shipping and pay for it. I ordered May 14 and I haven't heard anything, when did everyone else order?
I picked the same and it went the same route, but mine got through customs in NY a week ago and was on its way to the next facility and just dropped off the tracking after that. I have no idea who is delivering it or when...
Fun little side fact, I did a bit of research and apparently Penny's Box is made by a sister company to Dollzone, if I understood it all correctly. ^^ I saw on Dollection's Insta story last week that their local post office was closed due to renovations or something like that, and the shipping should resume again today.

Well...Mine has shipped now, but the tracking I got is nonsense. I was given this: It's clearly not a Fedex tracking number and won't track via 17track or parcelsapp either. I'm gonna wait a few days and if that doesn't change I'll send another email...

Okay, 17track still cannot track this number bit parcelsapp can. So that's nice. The projected delivery date is the 26th. We'll see. The carriers the app found were TNT, don't know them.
Yeah same, no shipping carrier I've tried has come back with a tracking result, but it's somehow still updating on the Janio website??? So bizarre.
@Mamo that's very frustrating, has your parcel since moved at least? I have no idea what Janio is. Mine is a legitimate express shipment at least, that can be tracked via TNT Express, I'm just slightly put off by the fact that I had to find the carriet out via my own detective work. If I didn't have the habit of trying multiple shipping apps I would have no idea where my parcel went...
My dolls got home via fedex, they ended up with a fedex tracking number. So you might have to contact Janio and ask for it ?
It's in the country finally, so I'm feeling a little better about that at least. this whole ordeal has just baffled me to no end, at this point I'm just hoping it'll arrive before October
Well, shockingly my little stinkasaurus showed up on my doorstep today! Same story, no tracking updates between being through with customs and being out for delivery. I didn't get any of the faces I was hoping for, but the little happy shark-toothed face is cuter than I thought it would be...! I like the combination of the random eyes and wig I got in my gift bag. I'll try to pop a photo or two onto my flickr, right now I just have some pics on my instagram story!
from what i've read here, the janio tracking seems to be kind of wonky. my tracking says it's being processed at a warehouse in singapore and it's been like that since the 23rd, will i just not get any more updates after it clearing customs or should i keep checking? i'm so antsy to get this doll
Last mile delivery for the Jaino tracking in the US was done by fedex, which I was only aware of because I’m signed up for fedex alerts.
My package have reached Hong Kong and is estimated to arrive before the 15th. For a $68 shipping fee, I was expecting it to go a bit faster than that, to be honest. ^^;
My fairy is still in shipping hell, because something's wrong with the customs paperwork At least according to the tracking. It also said they contacted the sender to resolve it...It's now totally up in the air when it'll be delivered. At least I know where it is. Not too far from here so when the customs problems are resolved they should be able to deliver quickly. Hopefully...
I noticed on my package that MyDollection underdeclared the customs value, marked it as only worth about 50% of what I paid, I hope that isn't the problem for you @EagleVision1999 but I mention it so you have as much info as possible just in case you need it!
Eh, there's no way of knowing. I sent a complaint to TNT for not giving me any useful Information. EDIT: I take that back, I just got a mail back from customer service, my contact data on the package wasn't correct. They'll update my information and contact me again for customs paperwork. It's really unfortunate, the package isn't worth that much I wouldn't have minded proper value declaration here. I'll have to remember to tell companies whenever I don't want them to commit tax fraud In conclusion, I'm not going to order from that dealer again.
I agree, I think if I want another one of these cuties I'll either try to look secondhand or wait until New Clover Singing has some of the next box in stock
My package is on the move again! It was chillin' in a Hong Kong centre since Monday. Maybe it overstuffed itself on dumplings and had to rest. Fingers crossed I will get it next week!! But, maybe not.
Mine is is still in shipping hell, but progress was made. It turns out the declared value wasn't the only problem. They were also missing the document that would allow TNT/Fedex to actually handle customs instead of the receiver (me). I wasn't aware that such a document even existed because evidently every other store I've bought from so far has figured out how to properly fill out all paperwork. At first I received a very short, uninformative email from customer service. I sent back my PayPal receipt but they wanted something else and used a term I didn't recognize (and couldn't find out via Google either). I wrote another email/complaint (the complaint section on the TNT site was the only place that would let me fill out the contact form without entering a company). And today! Today, a Saturday, I was called by the world's best customer service employee, who had decided to work on some emails today in order to have less work on Tuesday, Monday being a public holiday in my country. And rather than just sending me another email, he actually called! On a Saturday he didn't even have to work on. Amazing! Clearly a man deserving of a raise. Made my week-end because now I don't have to keep worrying until Tuesday. And of course there's hope I'll actually get my doll next week, finally.
Got mine all painted and dressed! I’ve never done an anime style faceup before I think it’s more difficult than a more natural look personally. These babies will fit in curvy Barbie sized clothes as long as the bottoms are stretchy.
Nice! I agree, that anime style face-up is more difficult. I wanted to make "natural" variant about 100 times, while painting mine @__@
I'm not ordering from mydollection again. I got the full box with free shipping so they never even emailed me that my package had shipped. I've been checking my order on their website so I saw that the status had updated a couple days ago, I messaged them asking about tracking but they never answered me. But the tracking company (janio? I'm not familiar with it) emailed me saying my package cleared customs yesterday. So atleast I finally have tracking for it now even though according to them it shipped almost 2 weeks ago. But it's in the US now so hopefully it will start moving quicker
My doll has made it through customs! That should mean they'll be able to deliver in the next few days. Hopefully.
After it ‘shipping’ on Sept 20, my tracking number finally started working today. It says postal service received the package October 4th . Hopefully it’s fast now that’s in the mail service’s hands!
mine says "out for delivery", but it's in a location that's about 45 min away from where i live. really hoping they don't deliver it to the wrong address

I thought it best to post my interaction with them in this thread since my order through them was for these specific dolls.* I am posting this because I had an extremely negative interaction with MyDollection in regards to an order for a full box of Fen Jie Xian blind box Yo-SD dolls. I would highly caution collectors against dealing with them. Please see the details below. * What did you order? 「FenJieXian」LAST BATCH YOSD blindbox - Full Box (5 dolls) * When did you order? May 10th, 2022 * How was the communication? Spotty. Sometimes AWA/MyDollection would reply very quickly, sometimes it would be a day or two between emails. * How easy was it to pay? Easy - I paid through paypal. * How long did it take to ship? N/A. My items never shipped because MyDollection (AWA) refused to honor the free shipping on the item I purchased. * Were there any missing or broken items in your order? N/A. Never got my order. Was given a reluctant refund. * If there were any problems with your order, how did the company handle them? I ordered a full box of Fen Jie Xian blind box Yo-SD dolls on May 10th, 2022 after seeing a youtube video four days prior of an unboxing of these dolls. At the time of my order, both the main website page and the blind box doll order page claimed that if you bought a full box, or purchased products worth over $150, shipping was free (*to certain countries). When placing my order, I made sure to check that my country/zone was included in the free shipping quote. I'm certain it was. I placed the order and paid promptly, and began my wait. On September 17th, I received an email from MyDollection saying my order was ready to ship. This email also stated I needed to pay $78USD for shipping. I immediately wrote back and provided screen shots showing my order page indicating that shipping was free and asking what this charge was for. MyDollection claimed that free shipping was never offered to my country, and that I had to pay. She then offered to ship my package randomly to *someone* in the US, and then have that someone ship it from there, to me, as it 'might be cheaper'. I started to do some serious digging after that. Looking on MyDollection's website, I noticed the original order page for the blind box dolls had been adjusted: the price had changed ($8 more) and there was info along the right hand side about shipping that had never been there before. When I attempted to place a mock order, a huge red banner was at the top of the page declaring only Zone 1 was being offered free shipping. None of this was on the site when I ordered four months prior. I went back to the youtube video I watched mere days before I ordered, as I remembered they had shown video of the website, and was able to take screen shots showing that MyDollections website and the blind box ordering page had definitely been changed since I placed my order. I emailed MyDollection and provided these screenshots, as well as a screenshot taken from their Instagram story/reel that very same morning (September 18th) stating MyDollection was offering free shipping *WORLDWIDE* for orders over $150. I received a reply back a short while later saying the IG screenshot was for "group order we can ship by the POSM is not the same thing." Shortly after this, the IG reel/story the screenshot came from vanished. AWA still refused to ship my order, despite me having proven that she'd altered her website and order page in the time since I'd placed my order, *and* after she publicly posted about free worldwide shipping on IG for thousands of people to see. We continued to go back and forth about the issue for FOUR MORE DAYS, with MyDollection continuing to refuse to ship me my order and honor what I'd purchased and paid for. On September 22nd, I'd had enough and was so utterly disappointed and upset that I told them to give me a full refund, or I would open a paypal claim. Less than twenty minutes after I sent that email, MyDollection messaged me back saying they would pay for the free shipping - but it was going to be sent via surface mail on a cargo ship. The slowest shipping possible. I informed them promptly that I absolutely would not wait another 1-2 (or more!) months for my dolls to ship, and again told them I wanted a refund, or I'd go to paypal. MyDollection finally relented, and refunded my entire order. I was relieved to get the refund, but this whole interaction left an incredibly bad taste in my mouth. I 100% believe they tried to goad me into the free surface shipping after I threatened to make a paypal claim just so they could run out the last of my paypal protection period, which is incredibly scummy. The fact that they refused to honor the order I placed months prior, changed their website, and removed their IG reel where they explicitly stated orders over $150 shipped for free WORLDWIDE is very, very shady. I do not trust MyDollection, and I will *never* order from them again. I strongly caution other collectors to choose other dealers over MyDollection. I was so excited for these little dolls, and had big plans for them, but now I can't even look at one of them without my stomach twisting into knots. * Would you order from this company again? NEVER
Omggg i wasn’t really thrilled with my experience with them either but I just chalked it up to being a new shop. I had already decided to not buy through them again, however.
Yeah, shipping orders out properly is evidently not their strong suit. I won't order from them again either. Maybe they'll get get better after a few years of experience, who knows, but I've been burned enough.
Jane's Dolland also carries FJX, and I had a pretty good experience with both my orders from her (both full boxes of the Penny's Box dolls), so she might be a better option going forward.
Huh... Funny, because I was also pretty sure that it said free shipping worldwide and that my country was included when I placed the order. Oh, well, I already paid for my shipping so, not much I can do. I think it might have been a mistake on Dollection's part, I saw on their Insta story a while back that they had reached a quota with the post office and would now be able to offer free shipping to more countries, so maybe they had got the pricing wrong at first. But that's just me giving them the benefit of the doubt.
Well, I can easily imagine some trouble stemming from inexperience (any maybe an unexpectedly large volume of orders) but... if I ever decide to get another one I'll look at Jane's Dollland. She's also pretty new, but I haven't heard anything negative about her yet. In other news, I got my fairy! It's a sharky gal, love her little teeth. I will post pics once I'm at a desktop. For now let me complain about the fact that the wig from the surprise bag doesn't fit. It's too big, I think it's a 7/8 size that runs a bit large. So I used one of mine after all. The eyes were fine I guess, but I'm not inclined to use them on their own. Because they're red and the wig I chose from my own stash is pink. I also got a bag with miniature snacks and a magic sponge. These were fine of course. The doll itself is lovely and it was fun to be surprised by who I got. I did have moment of worry because customs opened everything for an inspection. This doesn't happen often but I get why they did it here given her screwy paperwork. The content list actually said "Dollection" rather than something reasonable like "resin doll". The wig, eyes etc. flat out weren't declared at all. Combined with the missing paperwork and the dodgy value, well, it's no wonder they took a look. They put it back well enough, I think the decals might be missing, but I'm not sure if customs are to blame ( and I wasn't gonna use those anyway). Still I enjoyed unboxing her. I will do her faceup tomorrow. I would do it today, but I'm expecting another package with my grail in it! Edit: here she is: Spoiler: look with the gift bag items

@Vitarja Omg, super cute! Did you use pencil for the dark outline around the mouth? I'm thinking I want some kind of line there because this is an anime sculpt, but paint might be too intense. Not sure, hmm.

Now my tracking says that it has cleared customs and are waiting for fees to be paid. "Please wait patiently". I guess I'll get a bill in the mail, hopefully before this week is over. I'm a bit so-so with the patience, at this point. XD Edit: turns out I had an e-mail with the payment info for the custom fees. Which feels weird, since you usually pay to Sweden's custom office directly.
@EagleVision1999 thanks I use pencil only for sketching and then I paint over it with paint (watercolor or acrylic). Outline of mouth is made with watercolor. For me it is easier to fix mistakes if needed
