February 2011 Volks Tokyo Bay Cruise - Limited SD17 Reisner

There were quite a few wigs on YJ that I was watching. Most of them were going for 15,000 and up.

 

XDDDD Nathan would give you the wig in no time. He loves himself in black. XDDD

LOL! While on my daily YJ hunt I came across several wigs and decided to see what they went for......I'm on the hunt for the fullset as you know!

 

Daily hunt, eh? XD *stares at YJ 24/7* Me too. XDDDDDD These princes know what they're worth, don't you think? They keep us glued to the monitor... (_ _) *sigh*

 

The prices aren't as bad as I thought they would be, so I am surprised and relieved! But who knows what will happen down the line....I am going to try to snag one this week if possible.

 

The victims are lazily munching on grass while the hunters are closing down on them! XDDDD Let's form a circle so none of them can get out!

 

That is exactly what Im thinking... Just striked a deal with my agent. She mentioned she is willing to bid for the item and wait till April to transact in person when Im over in Tokyo. This way, I can save on shipping and bank charges. She is very sweet.... but my pocket is burning..

That is nice of her. However, isn't difficult to fly with a SD17 box? I cannot imagine how wary I would be if I have to fly with a giant doll box.

 

Then you haven't seen Jo... XDDDDD She can bring 3 kids with her anywhere. Right, Jo? XDDDD

I could not even bring my YoSD boxes back with me last June from DPNY. I had to sent them via courier back to my house as I could not bear to take them apart. I am annal about that.

 

But YoSD boxes are small enough to be arranged inside a suitcase... o.O Right?

Jo can bring Reisner into the cabin (in a doll bag or something) and check the box as a luggage.

I bought a small trunk to put my Soom tinies in whenever I'm bringing them along somewhere. ^^
And brought my bigger boys inside a big doll bag. They're small enough to be cabin baggages.
The trunk/bag are strong enough to protect them, and they have cushions around their bodies, too.
Resin is quite strong. As long as you don't put them in the luggages, they'll be fine inside the cabin.
That's what I think... ^^;;;

Anyway, more Reisners are popping up today... Some are just heads. And they're in very good prices!

 

yes I was able to fit 2 Yo Boxes in my suit case but I had more than 2 to bring back home

Since this version of Reisner is like version 1 (which had more available than scarface) maybe that is why more people are letting go of the head than the body

 

Hwaaaah, more than 2??? XDDDD You're shopping for dolls!! Hehehehhe...

I hope the Reisners will decrease in price. ^^

Hmm... Im concerned abt that too but I def do not like the idea of checking in Reisner (if Im really getting him). I am thinking of putting him in the huge Volks carrier (see pic below) and board the plane. Take it as shopping stuff?

Anyways, I've been waiting and saving for years just to snatch a Reisner... I must convince myself that it's still a fair price >_>

 

The lower priced reisner are all just starting prices. In fact, those with Buy Now are all priced at 240000 yen.

 

Yeah, BlueSand... Don't worry at all... He's coming home, that's all that matters now. ^^

News- this year there will be more Hometown DP -

July 31 2011 - Hometown Dolpa Kobe (yes first time taking place at Kobe... which is about 1 hour-ish from Osaka or Kyoto)

August 7, 2011 - Hometown Dolpa Sendai .... YES back to back DP.... I wonder if Volks will go as far as having different LE for each DP or they will just sell the same LE items

His head number (not head plate, the head number inside the head) is the same as 1st Reisner. So I think it truly is the same head as the last Reisner release.
