February 2011 Volks Tokyo Bay Cruise - Limited SD17 Reisner

Well, I expect they'll stay inside when on board anyways . . .

I really thought they might put out that SD17 Cecile this go-round. Well, I would only be interested if he were a sunlight SD17, but that's what I would have predicted. Maa, a fresh flood of Reisners won't be a bad thing .

The new "Desire for Revenge" Reisner looks to be a refined concept of the un-named Reisner featured in the Another Yourself 2009 book and the Cecile-looking Reisner that was shown at the Kobe Cruise last October. The Kobe Reisner (which looks very much like the one in AN2009) was a regular open eyed head that had the scar painted on the left eye. Thus, I am guessing the new Revenge boy will be the same... either way, the new Reisner is yummy. ^_^

 

Nyahahahaha~ ah, when it comes to messed up eye stuff, trust CLAMP . . .

I wonder what sort of limited outfits they'll have. Sometimes they're really cool from cruises . . .

BlueSand & wjsdpwl - The cruise dolls are generally pretty limited. For last year's cruise, VolksUSA was able to allow customers to enter but I have no idea if they will be able to do the same for the 2011 event. If it is like 2009, then you will have to pay for the doll, the cruise event fee, and somehow get yourself over to Japan for the actual cruise. If I had missed the boat last year, then I would have not been able to get my Williams. Or you can see if anyone in the Marketplace is willing to grab Reisner for you.

No money for me to go to Tokyo... I have recevied the Volks News and the paper to go... but too expansive for me ;_; ! My life is not fair !

 

I just got the books, I was surprise to see the cruise, I'm sure a lot of people will be happy, a Reisner and a Williams for the Dollpa, wow.
I got 2 tickets but unfortunately, too expensive for me.
I ever did a cruise, Kobe, it's amazing, and Tokyo bay must be great, I love this place.

 

I wish that volks would have an After Event Sale... even though it's hopeless but everyone can dream....

I envy people who will attend, Tokyo Bay Cruise must be awesome...

 

Actually they can all have Cecile's eye, as there seem to be plenty to go around . . . Creepy eye jars for everyone!

(Psst, Reisner, I'm sure Cecile appreciated the gesture but revenge would be easier to get with full depth perception. Just sayin'.)

 

Reisner is to die for. I do not collect boys and I cannot start now. He is gorgeous. Probably the most beautiful boy I have seen even more than Williams, for me.

Reisner's price is included postage tax only (I think). The price for the cruise is already on their website.
For the Sunset Cruise it cost 12,000 yen(Accompanying person: 15,000 yen) and for the
Night Cruise 14,000 yen(Accompanying person: 17,000 yen)

Surely, Reisner's price will be sky high! >_<

I think with SD17 Williams in Kobe if you got into the lottery for the cruise you could get a Williams. Usually with these events you get a sheet where you can mark off which items you want. My memory could be wrong but I don't think you had to do another lottery for the dolls. Some of special items like the sword or eye were lottery based.

In his case they had a special second lottery for a Sato event with a few more Williamses. Yeah, I missed out on that one, too.

 

OMG... So then the ticket is the only thing we need? =3= Hmph... I'll try to go then. Hopefully I can snatch a Reisner. After that, I'll just go home as poor as ever. _(_ _)_

 

I think so. I mean, double-check when the actual rules come out . . . I'll see if I still have the Kobe cruise flyer around somewhere, although the sheet where I marked off what I wanted I sent in to them.

But I think it went something like: send in application with desired items marked - get lottery results - if you get in, pay by a certain date - they send the info/stuff you need to get in. I believe the dolls get shipped after, I don't think you can necessarily pick them up on the cruise.

Anyone with cruise experience, please correct me if I'm wrong .

 

You would need to enter with Volks for a lottery to go on the cruise. Generally, these lotteries are only open for Volks VIP/VS members - you have to have one to enter, and you cannot go in a member's place. They do check identification. Of course, you can't be a member without a Japanese address. They may have already mailed the entrance forms to members to submit, so I doubt you would be able to enter for the lottery if you manage a membership now.

If you are chosen to go, you are then able to purchase the limited items you want. Reisner will be available for everyone who goes on the cruise to purchase. Williams last year was a preorder. I imagine Reisner will be as well.

 

Yeah, I should mention I lived in Japan at the time and had a VS membership. They mailed the application forms/flyers to members. Some people from overseas managed to go, but that was after contacting Volks directly and working it out with them.

 

Ah... I see... ^^ My friend has a VIP member, and I can go as a friend, right? >.> I'm crossing my fingers here. (_ _) Just contacted her... and she said applications are already sent and she'll inform me again in December or January if she manages to snatch a Reisner...

 

Yup yup... and I hope they'd be nice and release more Reisners so he won't be so damn rare anymore. XD

The tickets are with the name of the Volks members, so usually people living in Japan.
So everybody can't enter to the lotterie.
I have too but can't enter, too expensive for me, pity.
But I ever went to Kobe one, I got the doll for a friend, not for me, pity again.
