well Volks is releasing them as continuation of the fictional story line that they released each time with the doll.

So since he was scarred a few years back, they cannot scarred him now
plus this time he is really acting like the shadow warrior who is taking over for Capt Cecile who may be out on secret mission and Cecile is scarred thanks to W boy so I must say that this one will be scarred version too

 

Agreeing that this one must be scarred because of the storyline it wouldn't make sense if he suddenly had his eye again.

Based on the length of the scar (rhapsodies' boy Kisetsu here!), I doubt that the cloth is hiding it. ^^;;

 

Oh wow yes and going back and looking at that booklet scan you posted earlier you can't see a scar at all underneath...

after looking at mine, I think it is right. It takes a lot to hide that scar (And Volks ad did say that "sight has returned to the blind eye from which he took away his sight with his own hands...)

When I did my FCS they said that they will not do painted Scar for FCS face up that is reserved for one off LOL so I got them to paint my F17 like one of the model F17 from a past Dolpa booklet minus the scar

and rest all for dolls most comes with the Cecile Blind eye

the prices are much more reasonable than the Scarface Reisner back in the days when he first came out

500 seats were available for the cruise if I remember right....Does the number include the guest the member can bring with them? I can't remember. If so then maybe 250 or under 250, otherwise 500 or under 500?

 

I think guests aren't included @[email protected] they are included then it wont be 500 lottery seats but 250 instead...hmms...

Let's say it's 500 + another quarter x_x? ...I heard that not all participants attended the event because they love the boy but because they love the amount of cash they would be able to fetch by re-selling him ............-_-.......(well, I do think it's true...)

 

Well that's any hobby. This hobby is also very sensitive with a lot of love/hate situations because the amount of limiteds are small and there are collectors like us from all over the WORLD.

With those people around people like us who cannot go have more dolls available to buy right? If only people who decided they cannot keep the dolls are selling him, the number of him available to US will be very small. So it's not necessarily a BAD thing to also have people who actually went for the event to buy him for resale to be around. If you think about it that way.....and the 2nd market price....you always can choose for your personal (right and fitting) price to pay to any seller. If you are willing to pay high price, he will come to you easily. If you want to pay very little for it....most likely you will not be able to get him very soon....

And who knows what the motive may be when someone resells a limited doll? And why should everyone sell at default price? Would YOU really sell at default price yourself if you were to resell him, or the current market price? Perhaps they also paid high price to get the doll themselves, and want to get compensated for it. We don't know the truth. So in a way those people can make more people's dream come true XD

 

Very well said, and very true. I am very happy that there are these people around, otherwise, I would not have gotten some of my favorite dolls.

 

Uhuh... (_ _) I know what you mean... And if it's me, even by Lottery, my luck is almost non-existent, so these resellers are important. I do hope the prices will hover around 200,000~240,000 yen... TAT Need so save from now. *sigh*

Wow, he is even more gorgeous than the teaser photos. I love his face up, sans those brows they just needed a slight curve for me. But wow he is amazing. I may have to make room for him in the future. How different are the molds? Scar vs. no scar? Does anyone have a comparison photo or know of one?
Congrats to all who snagged a Reisner. I will definitely keep an eye open for him in the future. My friend scored a Williams so I am waiting to see him in person. I have seen Reisner and Williams in person at a Dolpa but I didnt ask to handle them. My friend will happily allow me to drool on her new boy. I hope lots of photos are posted of this boy.

Other than the scar on the right eye, Scarface Resiner head is slightly (ever so slightly) slimmer in his feature than version 1 Reisner. However, this different is very subtle even when you have them side to side it is still hard to tell
