I've been meaning to ask you what does SF Reisner mean. I guess you mean Scarface?

The Scarface Reisner mold and Reisner mold are totally different (not just the scar part) and the after market price for Reisner is still higher than Reisner the Scarface. Many people still prefer non-scar Reisner more than the Scarface version. That's why he costs more.

 

I'm waiting after the cruise, too. ^^ Since I suspect many people would be selling him at that time, and I'd be finishing a lot of my layaway payments... and I'll be free to buy one. ^^

Yes, Izam, they're different. For me, I like the SF more, that's why I went after him in the first place. ^^ Non SF Reisner will come in #2... But I will get him, too, one day. Just not now. ^^ Too many other dolls I want...

 

^SF Reisner was expensive also in the after market when he was first released (I think more expensive than the current price of this new Reisner's Y!J price). I guess people didn't know that besides the scar, how different he still is from the regular Reisner at that time. Market also changes so prices go up and down.

 

Yeah... I want to know what the price is when the real dolls hit the market in March... We will also see an increase of Williams from the VOLKS USA sales... ^^

I was avoiding visiting this thread for the longest time. Omg... Reisner's outfit and wig is to die for! And that cool pose in the promo pic is not helping much!!! I hate it that I'm so broke now.

It's weird that there are so many reisner on yahoo now, given that his release volume should be much smaller.

Are there pictures of him without the sash over his other eye? ... I haven't ever seen one.

Wow, fantasies abound, will a version of Reisner be released by Volks USA in later '2011?
I noticed that Volks' Ami popped up in New York City via "Toyko Boys' Story," is Ami needing her own boyfriend?
Also, I have friends who are always in love with Volks' Genji. Will a one-off Genji make an appearance in '2011 as well?

Ok, so I did pay off all my debt this month and couldn't afford Ami. Though I have started saving pennies, hoping to make more sales this year, . . . Oh, Volks, I feel like I work for you, part of the dollfie love addiction.

 

You have to contact them before with the auction in mind and tell them how long it will take you to pay. I usually try to pay mine in two/three months and then at the end there is a small fee, but I dont remember how that is calculated. I just pay directly through Paypal and then their accountant sends you an email saying they received the payment with the new balance and so on. They will work with you, they are really awesome.

 

Really? Never used Rinka before... O.o Maybe I'll try next time... (_ _) It would be awesome if they accept long layaways!

 

They are willing to work with you, so it really won't hurt to ask. I am going to have to ask for a longer layaway this time as I am currently broke..LOL!!!! I wonder how long after the cruise the bulk of these boys will start popping up on YJ? I hope it's March and not sooner.

 

I hope March, too. But seems like all the Williams popped up just after the Dolpa, so I'm not so sure they will delay Reisner.

 

I don't remember how it was for Darkness of Ensign exactly...but I think a lot of them were on YJ just days after the cruise.

I have a friend who went on the cruise and purchased Williams last year. She did not get him there and he was shipped to her at a later date. I'll have to ask her how long it was because I cannot remember.

 

Just got (and scanned) my Tokyo Bay Cruise booklet... (_ _) I can't help drooling...

Wig is the same as Reisner the Scarface's wig I think. Outfit is similar to Tan Cecile the Scarface's.

 

Why Izam? XD You don't like his eyebrows? Overall I think he looks okay but so much younger!

 

^Earlier photos of him you cannot see the eyebrows well but now that I can see one eyebrow clearly, I am picturing both eyebrows shown and .....Well I must say that it doesn't suit my taste personally. Well K Mayura started this series a while back. Her newer style of painting face up is very nice BUT because she started this group before it would be odd for her to change their looks now. So the eyebrows are her old style

She does the new style on the One Off version of trios

 

Now that the eyebrow was mentioned...everytime I look at the picture all I can see is the one dark eyebrow!!! LOL
