Pretty strait forward, whats your favorite Pocky flavor? How many flavors have you tried? What was your least favorite flavor?
Matcha is my favorite Pocky flavor! I've tried a couple of different kinds - regular, strawberry, and matcha. I know there's a cookies & cream flavor and I really want to try it.
Coconut is the best! I don't recall ever hating any pocky flavour. Not sure how many I've tried; probably quite a lot as I used to live in Japan and enjoyed the different regional/seasonal variations.
Oh my - no bad Pocky flavors out there. I like strawberry best, but I've tried chocolate, banana, cookies & cream and the heath bar kind. All yummy.
Oh, man. I've tried so many different flavors of Pocky over the years it's become impossible to keep track of what I did and didn't like. At a rough guess, counting the Thai branch flavors and numerous seasonal/limited editions from Japan, I'd say I've tried at least 30 flavors - likely more. My all-time favorite Pocky was the Dessert series - it had a super thick frosting on it similar to Pocky Midi and it was just really, really good stuff. The flavors I was able to try were Tiramisu, Double Chocolate, Strawberry Shortcake, and one more that slips my brain - Orange, probably. Oh, yeah - now I remember not liking the Orange one at all. Other favorites include Winter Cocoa, Salty, Cookie Crush, Adzuki Crush, Almond Crush, and Banana Choco. The classic plain dark chocolate Pocky works in a pinch, too, but these days I'm pretty tired of it and only seek out Japanese limited flavors.
Peppermint! Oh, wait... no. Sorry, I couldn't resist. My favorite Pocky flavor is coconut, followed closely by strawberry. I also love the almond crunch type.
I've tried macha, chocolate, chocolate banana, almond crush, cookies and cream, milk, orange, chocolate cake, strawberry, and mixed berry. Milk was suprisingly good. Almond crush is amazing though.
I haven't tried that many. Maybe only 3 or 4, but once I had the coconut-chocolate ones I didn't need any other!
I'm a huge fan of the chocolate and toffee one, although original chocolate will always have a special place in my heart since it was the first one I ever tried
I have a near addiction to the Green Tea flavour, have some sitting on my coffee table right now hehe
I've never met a pocky I didn't love. I've had chocolate, green tea, coconut, strawberry toffee/chocolate and cookies and cream .
I used to collect Pocky boxes, so I tried LOTS before I gave up on that "hobby" The only kind I wasn't fond of was the Giant Pocky. Too much stick, not enough choco. (Rainbow Giant Pocky came in a nifty cardboard tube though, and that was special in my box collection!) And I'll always have a soft spot for Pocky G, if for no reason other than the ridiculous commercial it had.
I think the last one i ate was milk flavour? o.o or white chocolate im not sure but i ate 3 boxes of it, it was soo good ;_;
I've only ever had chocolate and strawberry, and of those two, it really depends on the mood I'm in. But I usually go for strawberry.
Hmmm.. My favorite has to be the regular followed by strawberry. I'm not a fancy kind of gal, but give me a box of regular picky and good.
Matcha for sure! I've tried only half a dozen or so flavours sadly, as it's hard to get anything more than chocolate and strawberry down here in Australia without having to pay a lot of money for it.
Think I have tried regular chocolate, milk, blueberry, strawberry and some kind of crunchy nut thing? And maybe green tea? What I remember I liked the strawberry and blueberry!
Generally love the regular milk chocolate flavour, can't go wrong with it, but I also really enjoy strawberry!
I recently tried the Cookies and Cream ones and they weren't bad. WAY sweeter than i expected them to be but still enjoyable. :B
There are 3 flavors I like above all others - Almond Crush, Azuki Bean and Blueberry. Thought I'd really like the orange, but it's just "okay." I have to say, there is one flavor I just can't stand though, Chocolate Banana. Even though I hate bananas and most banana flavored things, I gave it a shot. And then I gave it away because it was so bad. I don't particularly like the regular green tea or strawberry flavors, but if offered one I probably wouldn't turn it down.
I've never had Pocky, what exactly is it? I was telling a friend at work about my first trip to a local Asian market, and how I wished I had someone along who knew what even half the stuff was. I told her about some of the things I bought and she told me she likes Pocky and her favorite is banana. But I never did find out what it is, just that it's on a stick.
So, pocky is essentially an ultra skinny crunchy breadstick-like thing covered in chocolate. That's the basics anyway.
Can I just have a plain old chocolate-covered pretzel instead? I'm afraid I've never seen (or tasted-) the appeal of Pocky.
My favorite Pocky flavor is original chocolate. I know it's a bit boring but it's just so good I have tried original chocolate, strawberry, matcha, cookies & cream, chocolate banana, adult milk, and milk chocolate. My least favorite is probably matcha or adult milk. I have no clue whether adult milk is its own separate flavor or just a more mature looking original. It tasted strange and almost stale, it's hard to describe
I'm a fan of the varieties with freeze-dried fruit embedded in the "chocolate" stuff, especially the strawberry variety, but any flavour of that type is good. Milk-honey is also a surprisingly nice one, and the extra large "Men's" Pocky in dark chocolate is good. (There's a very very large warehouse-sized Oriental supermarket near me, so we often get a good variety)
Chocolate coconut! A shame there's only so many sticks per package for what you pay for. There was an Asian grocery store near where I worked that had purple sweet potato Pocky that I loved, but that was 10 years ago.
I like strawberry but lol I was going to say pretzel flavor but it seems like it's not actually pocky flavor but a brand called pretz (p.s their tomato flavor is also really good) Guess my fav is Strawberry then... What is wrong with my life!!! I thought they were pocky for the longest time Probably should read the packaging more carefully
Green tea, strawberry (the one with the strawberry flakes in them), and white chocolate with the chocolate drizzle. Ugh... now I will have to go buy some before class...
I love the Almond Crush and Matcha flavors. Milk is good too. I tried Salty, but wasn't impressed with it. It didn't taste that different from an ordinary chocolate Pocky.
I did not try a lot of flavor, I would like to taste Coconut I have already taste : Matcha, Strawberry, Cookie & Cream, Panda, Almond Crush, Midi Chocolate and I think my fav is the Almond!
I tried quite many flavors in China but I think my favorites are still the classic chocolate and strawberry!
Oh my, didn't see that topic. I HAVE to post here. x) My favorite is milk flavor, without any doubt. But like most of people, I like strawberry a lot too !
Either boring old chocolate or maaaybe the cookies and cream... my tastes aren't very out-there when it comes to Pocky, but I do really love it. I've had "Men's" and I think almond or maybe hazelnut... I haven't had matcha because I'm allergic to tea (same story with the new banana kind), and I think I haven't bothered with strawberry because strawberry is usually my least favorite with things like filled biscuits. The most exciting find I've had, though, is the Brazilian Orange Pocky, which is sitting in my cupboard right now waiting for the next game night for me to break it out and share it around. I doubt I'll like it as much as I like the plain original but it's just so FUN to try one that I only see at the Japanese grocery store.
I've tried a lot of flavors, some of which I can't remember. Of the ones I can, my favorites were strawberry and coconut chocolate. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to enjoy them in a while, as I have a gluten intolerance It's one of the few things I miss since finding that out, as I love Pocky.
Strawberry 100% When my local store gets it in the guy puts it on the top shelf because he knows I can reach it and I will buy the whole case
