Favorite company?

Probably Dollzone! It's one of the few that I've consistently liked their dolls over the years, I love their style a lot.

 

New fave company is puyoodoll...which is painful

 

I really love Withdoll’s msd boys. Many of their sculpts are just my type and their bodies are so nice. I also love Dream Valley an equal amount, their fantasy dolls are beautiful and so unique.

 

I don't think I could choose one favorite, because I like different companies for different types of dolls. I love Loongsoul's boys, head and body sculpts both. I'm really liking Souldoll's girls lately, especially their Soulkid New Girl body. And I love Fairyland head sculpts a lot. So lots of favorites.

 

Volks was my intro to the hobby although it took several years to get my first one. Now, I have several. All but 1 are older sculpts bought here in the Marketplace. I just love them so I guess that makes Volks my favorite.

 

It's Volks for me. I love their sculpts and the one-touch system makes changing outfits and hands so much easier!
Dollmore are a close second. My first doll was a Dollmore girl. Their sculpts have some unique features and their customer service is excellent.

 

I have a pretty strong bias towards old Luts and by extension Fairyland sculpts. Though right now my favorite is the Dika doll sculpt I just ordered. I never stick with one favorite for long.

 

Dream valley, I pretty much only have one doll that’s not dream valley left. I love everything about them.

 

I really love Guard Love dolls. They have a variety of skin tones and the posing is amazing. ^_^

 

Definitely Volks for me.

 

For a while now I have been buying from artists who have their own line and not companies.
. In my early years I loved Dollzone, then Doll Chateau, then Dream Valley. This thread has been running for a long time and it is very interesting. But I have some absolute favorites from many other companies... And now I want to check out all the newer companies that I am unfamiliar with. I had been mostly away from DoA for a while so I got behind.

 

I don't have any dolls from them yet, but I really like Pipos. Two dolls I really want are made by them and Pipos has a wide variety of dolls, even though almost ALL of them are sold out.

 

Out of big companies I would have to name at least Doll Chateau and Dollzone. I don't have any spesific favourite companies these days, but there are so many bigger companies and smaller creators out there that I adore. I however love DC's bodies and they have always been my favourites, so this company will always have a special place in my heart. Peakswoods has also always been one of my favourites even though I sadly do not own any of their dolls. The fantasy skintones and unique makeup style please me.

My favorite company is dollshe craft. Yes, I know about the whole situation and I feel extremely bad about it. I don't justify dollshe, but all the dolls I love from him, my bjd story began with them and I still keep them in my heart. So after learning about the situation in the company and how dollshe acted and continues to act, my heart broke

Dream Valley. I like the anthro/fantasy dolls they release. I just go their Safina sculpt and she is so elegant.

Little Monica, sadly they’re defunct now but I still love their sculpts to this day. As far as companies I have dolls from and are still active, Dream Valley. I also love Gem of Doll (have ares fullset on layaway!!), Peakswoods (dream doll is human lune on the smaller body for that size w/ monster hands) and Coral Reef (I don’t have anything from them Yet, but almost everything they’ve put out is swoon worthy)

 

Wow, that's very cool, I didn't know Peakswoods, I watched them and they are magical, I love Gothic and I think there's something about them

 

ive always been a big fan of Luts, but I really fell in love with their sculpts after they separated from CP that being said I do have a soft spot for fairyland for that reason! nostalgia for those old luts/CP days.

I do wish they had more variety in their darker resin options though... withdoll's rosy brown is gorgeous, really wish I could get a Luts doll in that color!!

 

Two contemporary makers I love most are Rosen Garden and Kanadoll. I don't have any kanadoll in my collection, but I can tell I would really enjoy them. maybe someday I will have one face.
Oh as for why I love them. I respect and am thrilled by artists/ companies who have a consistent style that I enjoy who can make lots of different faces which all seem very magnetic to me. Just personal visual tastes, they are pretty!

 

I don't really have a favorite resin doll company! I find that I'm drawn to a wide enough variety of sculpts that I don't really stick to one company over another, especially now that I've started getting really into hybridizing. I've owned the most dolls from Luts, though, so I suppose they're my favorite in terms of quantity and repeat ordering.

My favorite vinyl doll company is Volks, without a doubt. I've handled/owned other vinyl dolls and they're just not for me when compared to Dollfie Dreams.

Luts, Gem of Doll, and Dearmine are my top 3.

 

I really do like Dollzone and Doll Chateau but only have a couple of their dolls, my biggest collections are from Fairyland, then Iplehouse. But there are many others that I like and have bought from, I guess when all is said and done, it's really what pulls at my heartstrings the most on the day I go "shopping".

Like you I haven't kept up with all the newer companies or artists, so I guess we'll see where the next search takes us.

 

I used to be such a big fan of Soom's Monthly Dolls. I still love them, but I have been away from the hobby for so long and so much has changed... I'm having a lot of fun discovering all the new stuff that's popped up. Really drawn to smaller, cute dolls these days.

 

I always adore doll chateau bodies, they’re very Tim-Burtonesque which fits my oc art. For face sculpts I like impldoll, maybe it’s the big lips and eyes that draw me in. I also really love the Dollfie Dream Volks lines for their vinyl skin and easy customizability.

Mine has to be Gem of Doll. All of their dolls look so elegant, and like they belong in a fantasy world. Currently budgeting to have enough money to buy one of them.

 

Generic but Volks, they’re just iconic at this point. But Custom House has a special spot in my heart that I still need to fill. I love the styles of the dolls and am waiting to hunt down the few I really want ^^; Hopefully my doll family can be less Volks then.

 

My favorite company is Dear Mine. Iove their sculpts, their beautiful face ups, and their outfits! I also like Dream Valley dolls, and I have many of the Whispering Grass dolls.

 

My favorite company currently is off-topic, but my next favorite after that is Luts. So far I only have two kid delfs by them but I'm hoping to maybe one day get a model delf Terra. And a honey delf. And a zuzu delf. And a baby delf. And

 

My absolute favourite is twigling!! I love how they’re beautiful and stylized but still semi-realistic. I have every head Twigling has ever released, including Ylissande and Ingenieuse even though those are both discontinued. The only thing I don’t have is a Mini-genue or a Mini-Pieta because I exclusively collect SD’s

 

That's hard, I tend to prefer individual sculptors more so than companies. But I also think that Gem of Dolls has a very wonderful and beautiful selection of dolls! Their outfits too are so lovely and detailed.

 

It's so hard to pick, because it varies depending on what I get from them!

Migidoll for heads (I miiiight have 16 Migidoll heads currently...with more on the wishlist....)
Luts for bodies (I have Senior Delf boy types 1 & 4, and a Muse body, and they're my favorites in my crew.)
Resinsoul for their outstanding customer service, short wait times, low prices and huge variety in colors, including custom colors. Also for their willingness to let you mix and match doll parts to create your own unique doll, and sometimes even modify parts for you.

I love fairyland, they’re the company that made me want a BJD. All of my dolls have been from fairyland. One day I’ll branch out finally and buy a Lati doll or Migidoll :’)

 

I love so many different dolls, but I have more Volks dolls than any other, I guess that's proof enough of favoritism

 

I like merry doll round and lati doll! I have 7 lati white dolls and love them a bunch

 

Impldoll has a special place in my heart with like 2 full dolls and a floating head from them, plus I like their bodies for hybrids. I already have plans for at least two more hybrids with their bodies. I also love places like supia doll, heydoll, and foveo among others...

 

I'm a bit all over the place, buuuut....
For heads, I have a real thing for old DollZone heads (might have 6, and 3 are the same sculpt).
Overall, I lean toward Angel of Dream or ResinSoul/Bobobie. Their prices for what you get is really low, AoD has great bodies for hybrids, and RS/BBB just have a way of capturing my heart that I can't put my finger on.

 

My vote must go to DearMine. It's the only company I have more than one doll from. They may not be the best posers, but their cute little animals make my heart melt when I look at them.

 

Judging by how many I have of each:

For SD sizes:
Bodies : Volks, followed by DollsTown
Heads: RML (Real missing Link - no longer around) for heads, followed by Ninodoll.

For MSDs and slim minis... A varied range - doesn't seem to be a preference, and I seem to be shedding this size of doll.

For tinies:
Whole dolls : Fairyland

Varied but probably a toss up between Fairyland and Dollmore. I seem to have the most dolls by those two companies. I also have a bunch of Luts Delfs, but they’re all the original style sculpted by Cerberus Project before they left Luts to create Fairyland. So, it goes back to Fairyland again.

 

Fairyland or Dream Valley.

 

DollChateau! I love their slender bodies and unique face sculpts, although some of them are a bit too odd even for me (Irma). I also love Gem of Doll for their stunning designs and outfits and Maskcat for their more subdued realistic look.

I'm definitely getting a second Maskcat because the one I have is a perfect doll. They're a great company in general.

 

Volks and Impldoll would probably qualify for me, as I have more vinyl from Volks and more resin from Impldoll than any others. That said, I ADORE my Dollzone girl, so I would love to get more from them in the future. I'd also kill for a Doll Chateau, Dream Valley, or Birdcube doll.

 

For me I really love lemoon, soom and volks

 

My favorite company is Dream Valley. I love all the fantasy sculpts they make

 

My favorite companies atm are Dollmore, I LOVE their dark dolls and Iplehouse because I love how elegant are their dolls in general.

 

For vinyl it's Volks and for resin I'm torn between Vings and SQ-lab, I'm starting to grown more fond of Ringdoll as time passes too.

 

For right now no other brand for me have been able to beat my Atelier Momonis when it come to posability. The only reason I am branching out for them is because I am looking for uniqueness and when you have 4 dolls already sculpted by the same artist they look similar.

 

I really love coralreefdolls, specifically, their animal bjds are my absolute favorites (sculpts like Mie Mie and Little Wolf Ow Woo Woo).

 

It depends on the criteria. There are so many different sculpts from different companies that I like. And there's not a single company whose dolls I *all* like.
I do love the esthetics of doll chateau. I had a very bad experience with the company, though, so I would never buy from them.

When it comes to customer service, Resinsoul, hands down. If ever I wanted a doll with a sunflower yellow belly, black wings, four arms, two heads and dragon feet in transparent green, chances are they would be up for it. And at a reasonable price, too.

 

Souldoll, easily

Even when I was away from the hobby for 15 years, I would visit the Souldoll page at least once a year when I was in the mood for looking at lots of pretty dolls.

They have had very few sculpts I straight up dislike, but even among those, I have still often found I like seeing user pictures of them. Most of their sculpts I like quite a lot and the loves I have are especially strong.

Supia is also up there on my list of companies where I like the majority of their dolls, however I’ve never owned one or seen one in real life so I feel like I can’t say they’re a favourite yet.

 

My collection is mostly second hand and from various companies so I can't pretend like I have any company loyalty but - ResinSoul has consistently held my attention all these years. They offer fantasy dolls, fantasy colours and even offer custom parts and custom colours for affordable prices in comparison to other companies. I've never heard anything bad about their service. I am considering ordering from them soon!
