Shopping Favorite BJD Taobao Shops?

This is what I would like to get answers for too. Just for casual clothing or kimonos/yukatas.

 

I pretty much always buy modern casual/cutesy clothes so I can't help with historical, but for casual my favorite shops are:

Bearseller - I've ordered multiple times from them and all the Sweatshirts I bought were very well made. They do have Velcro on the back so that's something to consider if you're looking for realism , but it was pretty unobtrusive (they also have jackets that zip instead)

Greentime - Cute Stuff. I got a shirt and Overall shorts from them. The overalls had working tiny buttons

AirCastle - I bought a bunch of Shoes and Stockings in styles that I don't see around much. Good quality, and haven't had issues with staining (unlike my dollmore stockings ><) They have some great looking yukatas and frilly dresses

Helleborus - Cute dresses I bought a Lolita style dress set as well as a Winter jacket from them. Probably my favorite store, quality wise. Everything was just great. The jacket has working horn buttons, and is nicely lined!

Yomisama - Everything I got was good quality

Other:
M3 - They delivered what I ordered and they were inexpensive, but the quality wasn't the greatest. Ordered a bunch of stuff but probably would not order again

DWSdoll - Shoes that you see on ebay but for less. A good deal. Don't know about their clothes or wigs.

Bad:
Kamizone - The outfit I got looked Nothing like the pictures (pictures they still haven't updated).

Endless - The overalls I bought were a different color and had different patches than the picture (which is ok I guess). But I bought two for a pair of twins, and the patches on the left were in a completely different place on each one. Like, not even close. The shirt I got was fine.

 

There's a pretty good list here of some decent shops! I have bought from a lot of them and the quality is pretty good!

 

Can anyone recommend some shops that sell 1/6 scale as well

 

I have a plenty of yosd sized shop! Notice that if the price is expensive like 999 or more, it means this item or color is out of stack. Many sellers like to keep the page like this after the item sold out. If you are looking for glass eyes:
salafina: Don't buy wigs or clothes from this shop. This shop has good original designed eyes, but not wigs or clothes. A品 means good quality without the flaw that affect the appearance. B品 means have some flaw that might affect appearance. A品 is always more expensive than B品.
shoes: SQ 脚尖上的小诗: They have nice shoes! There are also size for 1/8, 1/4, 1/3, etc.
Lizdolly栗子家: same comment as the last one.
IDollZoo 糖豆: same comment.
Clothes: Notice that many Chinese doll clothes make only sell their clothes with a limit amount since they always have other jobs. Most of them publish the new clothe announcement on Weibo and you need to be quick enough to buy them(either through Taobao or Weibo pm), therefore, I just give you some shop that always have some clothes. You might need to wait the seller to make the clothes after purchasing.
AKOMS的秘密衣橱: 全款预售 for the clothes you need to wait for making(usually couple months, as known as pre-order with full payment). 现货 for the clothes can be shipped soon. If you see one item only has 补款 option, don't buy it, this is for pre-order customer only. 定金预售 for pre-order with part payment(I don't suggest people who don't know Chinese to buy this kind of item, because they always forget to or having trouble with paying the rest payment). In Chinese bjd community, if you miss the deadline of the last payment, your pre-order payment won't be refunded. The same as all clothes shop. Some notification for this shoo only, most clothes in this shop are made for imda 3.0, so for yosd sized doll will be a little bigger to wear(not too big). If you don't see size option in item page, that means this item don't differ imda 3.0 and yosd.
R' 怪兽学院: 尾款 for pre-order customer, so don't buy it. 现货 in stock. This shop don't have much clothes for sale, but it has nice school bag and toy. It used to sale cute yellow kindergarten bag, but it sold out for now.
方糖のCandy: It usually open time limited booking. 定金预售 for pre-order with half payment.
包托的脑洞: as known as Boto. Daily clothes. 现货 in stock. 非现货 need to wait
FADOLL法斗原创: 定金 part payment pre-order. 全款预售 full payment pre-order. 补款 just don't buy. 现货包邮 in stock and free shipping within China for most region. If price is rediculously high like 99999, it means sold out.
KUNKUNDOLL: 现货掉落 the same as 现货, just the rest part from pre-order(they always make more than pre-order, this kind of items can be a little expensive than pre-order). This shop also has shoes and other staff. It also sell human clothes with same design as some doll clothes it sells.

Another notification: don't buy wigs from 菲贝尔BJD娃娃假发 on Taobao. This is the same shop as 5688. You can get lower price if you order from 5688. You can do group order. The maximum requirement is 3 wigs from the same wigs with same size and color. You can save half of your money by group order!

 

Promise of the world on taobao have a lot of historic clothes

 

Just want to note anyone who wants to order pre-order clothes, order through BJDBhiner! Add it to your cart and then get a quote. They will update the price to charge you the full price straight out (even if it says deposit only) and keep up with the payments so you don't have to.

I just did this yesterday.

 

You may want to be cautious about this one. There were a lot of problems with them a few years back with people not recieving orders, orders showing up missing items that were never replaced, refunds not going through and very poor comunication. They may have cleaned up their act since and if so, that's great, but make sure to read up before placing an order and make an informed decision.

 

I didn´t know about that. I was thinking in order from them soon, using a chinese shopping service.

 

I placed an order through an agent from Promise of the World- it seemed pretty low risk to go through an agent for it, as if something goes wrong they will handle the refunding/returning for me (used Superbuy). I'll try to remember to update when I get the product pictures from the agent to let people know if this is a safe Taobao to order from again. I had seen the bad reviews and decided to go for it anyway since it's been some time.

They have a lot of really cute stuff (lots of outfit staples like ruffle shirts and such) for really good prices, so hopefully I'll have a good experience to share with everyone lol!

I ordered these shoes in brown from this seller and they shipped to the agent lightning fast and the pictures the agent sent along look excellent. (It's a spreenow link because I can't get the direct Taobao link to work without an account )

Hi. I know it's been a while but I was curious. Did the items you bought from promise of the worl arrive intact? What did you think of the quality?

 

Hi there! Gosh I haven't logged in in forever but I saw your message. Yes I did get my items from them!
Honestly, everything I got from them is wonderful considering the price. The quality itself was lovely, however the two pinafores and one shirt I got were a little bit too big on my Minifee. Not like, egregiously so, but I did alter the waist on the pinafores to help with the fit a bit better. I am really impressed by how cute the clothes were, quality fabric, and only a few loose threads. The shoes are very cute too, fit nicely and look great for their price. The boy clothes I got ended up fitting my Luts MSD body a bit more snugly. I don't have pictures of him though, I still haven't gotten around to his faceup yet. These are some pics on my Minifee girl when I got the clothes! (the stockings, socks, and the shoes with the bows were from Alice's Collection but all the other clothes were from Promise of the World)
